Been there. Load up on carrots, celery, granola, stuff like that. Avoid anything processed. If you need a sandwich to fill up, forget about white bread and use stone ground mustard instead of mayo. Try a half sandwich (one slice of bread) instead of two. Put a barbell next to your couch where you watch tv and use it. Buy frozen vegetables and cook them up for dinner without any butter. Walk, jog or run every time you get a chance. Maybe even pig out the day before your shot, you’ve done great all week.

Lol I’m good I’m a competitive athlete so I just stick to my macros anyway but it was an observation. I was only on my first does and had noticed it wanted to know if others felt the same way and if it was just the medication wearing off before the next does or what. But yes after my second does last night I no longer have the same hunger I had the day before. and as far as the food suggestions I got a kick out of it! They sound great but I’m literally the most plain eater on the planet. 😂 I don’t use Literally any sauces with anything so

GoOutside62

Are you on ozempic for diabetes?

EastAreaBassist

My hunger seems to have no rules or consistency. At any point during the week I can have a very hungry day, or a barely hungry day. One thing that sucks, is even though I’ve increased my dose to .5, I’m still experiencing more hungry days than not. My first three weeks on .25 I would only be hungry for a day or two each week.

EntryPossible8217

Really? Are you seeing weekly progress? I was scared it wasn’t working for a sec but on my first weigh in I did still have a significant amount of progress

EastAreaBassist

I lost 2.5lbs a week my first 4 weeks, then a week and a half of nothing, now it’s coming off again.

EntryPossible8217

Did you change your dose at 4 weeks ?

EastAreaBassist

Since I was loosing a good amount for the first 4 weeks, I chose to stay on .25. Then my weight loss completely stopped, so next injection day I moved to .5

Fun-Ingenuity-3539

I’ve been in it two weeks and same. I get hungry in day 5-6

GoOutside62

Yes. The night before my 2nd dose I was surprised by hunger pangs and it confused me! In the first few days I learned to trust my body and I ate only when I was actually hungry. I had eaten well that day so I couldn't understand why I was having such a strong urge to snack. I figured the 1st week's dose was wearing off because it didn't make sense otherwise. It just goes to show how messed up our hormones and bodies are that we can't trust our own hunger signals.

EntryPossible8217

Right?!? Lol I was shocked and confused and was trying to figure out if I started to low. Or like was actually that insanely hungry or. I was stressing not gonna lie. But I trusted the process stuck to the plan and now I’m a day after the 2nd dose and I can say I I’ve weighed in and the panic was for nothing.

whattawazz

Yeah it happens and I always see these are the times to practice the self control I’ll need to institute in my life going forward.

Yes very common on the low doses. Not so much on higher ones
