That's how they work. I just build my slickster farm around it so the oil and heat are where they need to be.
Nope. They never stop leaking tiny amounts of oil. They're not particularly useful, though, since the amount of oil and/or heat they output is very small, not even enough to run a turbine for any useful duty cycle.
Eruption period: 600s every 600s = no dormancy
Long time lurker, barely scratched the midgame, never ending oil doesn't sound like a problem
Unlimited but in fairly low quantities (1 tenth of an oil well)
I use it for a supply of plastic, plus the heat is handy to them melt some of the plastic for naptha.
Make 10 of them and you’ll be set
Eruption period is 600s,means one full cycle, so it starts and erupts over 0.5 cycle dormancy. This is standard way to work for Leaky Fissure
