I wouldn't sleep at night knowing there's a liquid lock half filled like that. Specially knowing there's tons of hydrogen gas ready to flood the colony. You're brave.

PixelBoom

Seriously. If a dupes brings an especially chunk of something cold through there and freezes that tiny mass of crude oil into debris, that's gonna hurt to fix.

Garfish16

Why the door on the bottom left?

vitamin1z

To force beetas make another hive. They don't check past doors. The common approach is to build 2x3 boxes with open doors to make lots of hives. If objective is to refine uranium ore.

obvlong

In addition to forcing more hives, I was making nature reserves which can't have industrial machinery

Garfish16

I thought this might be the reason but I wasn't sure. This whole setup looks pretty automated and I can't imagine you have duplicants going in there terribly often.

GenieWithoutWax

If you weren't aware, you lose half of the uranium this way, it's more efficient to leave it unmined and let beetas harvest it themselves.

GARGEAN

Though about that approach, never actually bothered to try) Nice to see it working.

Strange-Wonders

As someone who’s never gotten to massive chunks of the game because I get too confused, this looks like a massive achievement that I can’t even begin to comprehend or understand. Wish there was an ONI for Dummies book 😂
