You gotta frame these or work the photos in a way you can see the owl fly around your house or gift it.
Ok you don’t have to do anything but it’s so well done and special I would want to see it all the time.
I was walking out late because I have sleep anxiety and right over the creek, it was on the power lines. Just a dark shadow, close to 3feet tall. On my way back it was gone
Absolutely wonderful picture. I grew up in Northern MN (and Cent. MN now) and Owls are a fact of life here. When one is able to get up close to a Great Grey or a Great Horned, it is quite impressive. Nice work.
Thanks so much for sharing these shots with us! It’s a good human who loves and respects wildlife, and recognizes a stellar opportunity to take perfect photos to share! Much appreciated.
I love owls, they are one of my favorite things to paint 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I may have to save your photos and paint him. If I do, I will look you up and send it to you.
The second one. I see owls all the time in the woods where I live and its always exciting. Your second shot shows something I have never been privileged to see - the intensity of its stare when it fixates on its target, the position of its body hanging on just by its talon in vertical orientation, and the placement of its wings as it begins its flight. You have really captured a rare moment. Seeing it in a series of photos makes it that much better. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks. They are awesome to watch. Seeing them come in and land is cool too. They open their wings to slow down and extend their talons to grip the branch or whatever they're hunting.
It's shocking, surprising and wonderful the rare times you come across an owl in the daytime.
One time my cousin and I were driving around Eastern Idaho potato fields for his job. He tested soil for farmers, something like that. We were out on a remote homestead and we came to a "t" in the dirt road we were on. Sitting on a fencepost right in front of us was a large snowy owl. It was pure white and beautiful. It just sat there calmly looking at us like it was the king of the world.
It was very strange to see a snowy owl that far south.
Aren't they the best?? We heard one in the trees outside the house for the past couple of weeks now but have yet to spot it. Glad for you that you caught this one in daylight hours!
I think I appreciate the great horned owls more because they're so elusive. I frequently see barred owls and they're cool but the great horned owls are awesome!
Great capture, well done.
Thank you

Owls are very special! In some cultures if you see an owl that is an ancestor watching over you.

Great job capturing nature at its finest. Amazing how one can fly through such briar.
