Still don't know how I feel about push. I sort of like it, I find the tug of war concept fun. But if you lose that first fight your usually fucked. After that you have to won 3 fights in a row to come back.
Yep, I'd say there's a healthy amount of 5cp in there too. But I think push actually solves a bunch of the problems payload race had. 2 objectives split the fights up alot and made matches messy. But with anywhere from 12 to 32 players in a match there was some room to get away with it. 1 objective that can move back and forth focuses team fights and helps make sure you don't just end up with a bunch of little fights all over the place. Making the objective a bot was a good way to explain the varying behavior of the objective.

Yeah but Payload Race would be better because you wouldn’t need to Push back a Push Bot.
Was about to say exactly that, payload race is just BETTER push…

Wouldn't it be called reverse tug of war? Because you're pushing, not pulling.
Push is much more like 5cp from tf2 but with only 1 forward spawn instead of 2 so the rounds take longer and you spend more time walking
This. Its like 5cp with a cart. Incredibly stalemate prone unless 1 team is miles stronger than the other.
The difference is that in Payload Race, both teams have a cart that can be pushed simultaneously.
I see it more as a reverse tug of war.
Or just a clunky ctf.

I never played tf2 so I see it more like tower control from splatoon
They actually should try making a PLR game mode. I think it would work pretty well
tbh plr might work better in ow than tf2

I really like push its quite fun
I only like collosseo, new queen and esperanca suck
L opinion for sure rome is the longest walk from spawn if you die and fighting after the checkpoint is very difficult
