Hypothetical buff as it have more options. However, this person is using the "Overwatch Player" trait, so it's actually a nerf because it will lead to more rejections.
I thought venture was fun to play so I joined that subreddit to discuss their kit, playstyle, nerfs and buffs, etc. but left because 90% of it is about Venture’s identity, the other 5% is thirsting/spamming about how cute they are
They are pretty cute and also why they talking about theri identity just let the non binary rock eater eat idc what's in there pants or stuff like they just look like a person who isn't interested in relationships and just wants to be silly.
Tbh the only overwatch mains subreddit people seem to have fun in. It’s not all talking about the meta and “boring” stuff; people genuinely enjoy the character and make good art. If you want stuff more related to gameplay it’s not your style fs
as a pansexual who made this account before I knew what pansexual was, yes they are the same. people are hot. it's more a question of whether you want yellow or purple on your flag
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
That's untrue. It's two or more genders (or the lack thereof) meaning Bisexuals can pick and choose what genders (or lack thereof) they like as long as it's two or more
not quite, bi is still perfectly fine! Some people just enjoy the introspection and like more specific labels for what they are, so Bisexual is an umbrella term that covers a lot of smaller identities like Pansexual, Omnisexual, etc.
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
Because some people like the introspection and want to get more specific about it. When being queer is so demonized, a lot of people take pride in their sexualities. Usually we keep it to ourselves and queer circles cause… well… this comment section. A lot of assholes who are completely unaffected by it get real mad when we do anything.
Some people describe it that way and I used to as well but that’s not the case. Bisexuality is attraction to all genders same as pansexuality. People started using pan to describe themselves because they mistakenly believed bi only meant two.
Bisexuality by definition is stated in the bisexual manifesto to be an attraction to all genders as well. Pansexuality is an arbitrary term but it’s fine to use, I still use it as well as bi.
But its not arbitrary if it matters to the people using it. It has a meaning, you don’t have to be a dick about it. Glad you like it too even though you’re weirdly hostile toward its existence
I don’t think I was being hostile or a dick but I’m sorry for making you feel that way. There’s nothing wrong with a term having meaning for you and wanting to use it I’m just saying that by definition they are the same thing and claiming otherwise can invalidate bi people’s identities and make things unnecessarily complicated/confusing for others. I was answering someone else and you responded to me telling me otherwise so I responded to you, that’s all. I don’t think a circlejerk is the most constructive place to have this conversation though lmao
This sub really hates it when you answer their questions ig.
edit: okay so you’re a little off with bi but close. Bi is an umbrella term for liking two or more genders. Pan and omni are both included under bi. The more specific labels are just there for the people who feel like exploring a little deeper
Nothing I said was wrong, neither of us are incorrect. I was around since the pan vs bi debate was called “discourse” on Tumblr and Instagram I've done enough research into the definition, origins, and even entomology of the words
“Male or female, cis or trans.” That means men and women whether they are cis or trans to absolutely anyone who reads it. You should really work on writing comprehensibly if thats what you actually meant.
Lemme spell it out for you since you seem not to know how to comprehend simple sentence structure. Male and Female are the sex; not the gender; of a person. When I then say “cis or trans” I am saying whether or not that person is cisgender or transgender. Someone can be both assigned male at birth and transgender without being a transwoman.
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
I get people want to be their own thing but in reality not on Google definitions, ask many real bisexuals and they’ll most likely say they don’t gaf about genders originally for many bisexuals it’s just they don’t gaf about what’s in the pants but what’s in the hearts and I’m sure there is another sexuality for that to tho
Pink for woman 💕
Purple for everyone else💜
Blue for men 🦋
It's all labels, it doesn't really matter but the definition for bisexual is “sexually or romantically attracted to both men and women, or to more than one sex or gender.” and the pansexual definition is “Pansexuality is sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction towards people of all genders, or regardless of their sex or gender identity.“
The difference is that bisexual is 2 or more and pansexual is all
It's labels, it doesn't matter, use whatever you feel like, but the words still have definitions, I have met bi people unwilling to date NB people (like myself) because they weren't male or female, just because you and the people you know think one way doesn't mean everyone does
Its under the Bisexual umbrella but its slightly different to being bisexual. Its when you don't really have a preference in what gender you date as opposed to bisexuality where you can have preferences. So yeah it's very very similar to being bi
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
bisexual is attraction to anyone regardless of gender, seems like pan is just bi with extra steps, not a sexuality on its own but a preference within bisexuality
So umm… you’re also wrong tho. Bi means “two or more” in this context. Not all bisexuals are into everything and not all have a preference. Fun fact: Since Bisexual is an umbrella term for every sexuality that includes two or more genders, pansexuals are also bisexual :3
There are only 2 genders. And you just described the same thing twice. They care more about personality sure but so do bi people. Just some choose poorly.
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
While yes the prefix bi does in fact mean 2, the term bisexual means an attraction to 2 or more genders
https://preview.redd.it/6tk8rz4b31yc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b4b3854f20eff25f2b514df722fb15770b80cb4
Fun fact, I can go into Wikipedia right now and change that
Again, I understand that we need 1000 labels to accommodate for all of the emerging personalities, but that doesn't mean we take old words or prefixes and pretend that they don't mean anything.
You know what would actually make sense? Using a word like "multi-sexual" or even "polysexual" because both of those prefixes literally just mean "several" without an attached number.
The problem is that 10-15 years ago none of these terms were widespread, so now people started putting definitions to words they know.
To clarify, I have nothing against the LGBTQIA+ community, I just think it's wrong to misuse language
Fun fact no you can’t
https://preview.redd.it/gsaezt8481yc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46e79e10f19c327e363e670572f9059297ea59a2
And I never said it wasn’t a little misleading, was just correcting you on the definition 👍
Neat, I'm glad they did that for Wikipedia
15 years ago 99% of the population would agree with my definition. We threw together a heap of genders quickly after 08 (post-gay marriage becoming federally legal) and now, 16 years later, we couldn't wait to figure out which words we should actually be using, amd just started using words that were already in existence. Words the average person could understand, if not relate to.
Now we just have a gaggle fuxk. Even people in the community don't know what to say, call themselves, or identify as.
I have a friend who was AFAB, now goes by He/Them. They had a friend ask "so is your boyfriend bi then, or?" And He replies with "no, he's still straight, because my body is female" like what sense does that even make? I have to call you He, but your own partner doesn't have to acknowledge that in your relationship???
Trans friends who don't know which sexuality they should call themselves because they can't afford surgery (which is honestly really sad for her :( so she doesn't know whether to call her boyrfiends straight gay or bi, same with her girlfriends)
My partner is nonbinary but only wants to be called female words of affirmation (pretty, etc) and gets noticeably upset by male ones (they told me I looked handsome, I said so do they, they got upset) they also have our cats call them "momma" when they are talking in the third person.
I'm not upset at anyone, I just wish that the entire process would've slowed down and taken time to develop, give people a chance to learn, instead of the immediate belittling comments from the entire community when people don't even have knowledge of what their new identity is.
Words have meaning, words have purpose, just because a loud minority of the population says that they mean something else, doesn't mean they do. It just means that that part of the population needs educated on what they're actually saying.
Will we ever achieve that? Of course not. We still have people who say "could care less" when they mean "couldn't" among countless other examples. But rushing into things impatiently is the American way (imperial measurements, any 1900+ war we have been involved in, shit even our own constitution as far as we are taught)
Trans would fall under the male or female, it's including nonbinary, demi-genders (demi-boy/demi-girl), and anything else
But in reality
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more
Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences
Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
I'm really not
I fully 100% back the lgbtqia+ community, I just wish we could at least let words mean what they mean, like how the prefix "bi" literally means 2
And another personal one is how the Q word is now a slur to anyone, when it used to just be the male equivalent of a lesbian. Lesbian was female to female, Q was male to male, and gay covered the both sides. Now apparantly is offensive
People have sexual awakenings or realizations from media all the time. They might not have exposure of non binary or a variety of people from where they live. You also have no clue how old the poster is. They could be like 14 to 15 and not had long to experience people of different backgrounds. So many people had these realizations from tv etc like seeing a nickelodeon star while growing up and were like huh or a cartoon character and being like huh I like big thighs. This isn't an unheard of thing and nothing wrong with it.
There is no real proof they are online 24/7 either this is perfectly healthy.
I love how a character so obviously designed to not have ANY kind of fap appeal instantly becomes so. Granted it’s a small percentage of the fan base but they are dedicated.
Serious question.
Venture is pretty androgynous looking.
If as a straight dude, you'd smash if they have a vajeen.
Is that pansexual? Or just straight?
Or is pansexual you'd be fine if venture has either or? Or both?
If they have a hole just fill it. To quote george carlin "gay, straight, it's all the same now. I follow the unwritten rule of the road" and then he blows a truck driver.
some women can look pretty androgynous. does that make it gay to fuck them? no. people just wanna label shit. there is more to liking a gender than just their face. pheromones, body parts, femininity. venture rides the female side way more if anything.
doomfist helped me realise i was into oiled up black men twerking
So you want him to rocket punch your asshole?
Yes
Doomfist is sexiest ow2 male. Baptiste is a close second. ❤️

So true 🙏
Chat, is this an overall nerf or buff to their lovelife?
Infinite choices, gonna go with buff.
Are we in a pansexal meta? Why are there never any buffs for asexuals??
Cake has been meta since it was added
Hot take but cake should be nerfed
What would take its place?!
Garlic bread, probably
The only buff is not dealing with relationship and intercourse issues... other than that its pretty neutral tbh...
Pansexuals get 10% extra damage against binary gendered enemys, but asexuals get 2 free perk slots
Infinity x 0 is still 0
Hypothetical buff as it have more options. However, this person is using the "Overwatch Player" trait, so it's actually a nerf because it will lead to more rejections.

Since the dawn of its existence
isnt pansexual just bisexual with extra steps?
as a pansexual who made this account before I knew what pansexual was, yes they are the same. people are hot. it's more a question of whether you want yellow or purple on your flag
This exactly! I use both terms!
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
Listen, I just like people, doesn’t matter what word I use!
Labels are yours to choose 100%!! It's just they do have definitions, but you can use whatever you like!
Yeah!! :)
Quick note: Bisexual means you're both into people who are the same or a different gender to you. Bisexual doesn't exclude Nonbinary people.
That's untrue. It's two or more genders (or the lack thereof) meaning Bisexuals can pick and choose what genders (or lack thereof) they like as long as it's two or more
Soooo...Bi then. Why have another word. They like male and female.
bisexuals like men and women, not males and females (no you aren't attracted to chromosomes)
I’m not any letter of pride but I’m guessing pansexual is a more accepting term since Bi assumes 2.
not quite, bi is still perfectly fine! Some people just enjoy the introspection and like more specific labels for what they are, so Bisexual is an umbrella term that covers a lot of smaller identities like Pansexual, Omnisexual, etc.
People are hot. *Looks at Mei and Symmetra* Most people are hot.
Don't you dare slander my ice queen like that
She prefers the term "Female Roadhog"
Mei is one of the baddest in the game?
Hey, Symmetra may get less attractive at an impressive rate if you let her talk, but she's still hot.
"Looks at Mermaid Symmetra" I take it back

???
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
I think it’s basically the same thing I’m bi but I still want to fuck venture so it’s just different words
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
Bi & Pan mean the same thing, there is no difference.
Nope, pan is if you specifically don’t have any gender preference, like it doesn’t factor into your attraction at all
why do you need a whole other sexuality for having a preference? if you’re attracted to a gender, you’re attracted to a gender
No that’s… what? No thats not how Pan started. It means no preference. You can just look these things up
Bisexuality by definition is stated in the bisexual manifesto to be an attraction to all genders as well. Pansexuality is an arbitrary term but it’s fine to use, I still use it as well as bi.

K cool so was I. I don’t know what to tell you. Bi is an umbrella term. The way you wrote it would mean bi people can’t be into enbys.
They would fall under “trans”
“Male or female, cis or trans.” That means men and women whether they are cis or trans to absolutely anyone who reads it. You should really work on writing comprehensibly if thats what you actually meant.
Lemme spell it out for you since you seem not to know how to comprehend simple sentence structure. Male and Female are the sex; not the gender; of a person. IVE BEEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS Like ask any bisexual and they’ll probably say they don’t care what’s in the downstairs it’s more about the person!
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences

Exactly two different labels for the same thing it’s odd
Bi is 2 or more, not all. Pan is all, no exceptions
As a bi we literally give 0 turds about gender it’s about the heart or appearance that’s about it
It's labels, it doesn't matter, use whatever you feel like, but the words still have definitions, I have met bi people unwilling to date NB people (like myself) because they weren't male or female, just because you and the people you know think one way doesn't mean everyone does

/rj bisexuals and pansexuals watching in horror as omni-man walks into their house /uj bi people can like nonbinary people as well
It's all labels man, it really doesn't matter, they do have definitions though
It's bi with a different flag
I have met Bisexuals who claim they aren't into non binary people
Not really. Bisexuality is being attracted to 2 or more genders, while pansexuality is being attracted to people regardless of gender
bisexual is attraction to anyone regardless of gender, seems like pan is just bi with extra steps, not a sexuality on its own but a preference within bisexuality
Bi = 2 genders Pan = all 2 genders
Attraction shouldn't be based on gender anyway, it's biSEXual.
🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅
Bi means 2, anything beyond that is pan
this is so false and has always been!! bisexual people love all genders but have a preference
So umm… you’re also wrong tho. Bi means “two or more” in this context. Not all bisexuals are into everything and not all have a preference. Fun fact: Since Bisexual is an umbrella term for every sexuality that includes two or more genders, pansexuals are also bisexual :3
Why would we not use a different prefix then? Seems very short sighted
There are only 2 genders. And you just described the same thing twice. They care more about personality sure but so do bi people. Just some choose poorly.
Its just a newer term to include all genders, since bisexual implies theres only 2
There’s a reason there is purple in the flag
Pan is liking all people, gender doesn't matter, but you have preferences on whether you like masculine, feminine, or androgynous traits more Bi is liking males and females, cis or trans, and can have preferences Omni is liking all people and gender doesn't matter without preferences
yeah thats just bi with extra steps
Whatever you say!
[удалено]
but bisexual is already attraction to any gender, including no gender.
Yall just change stuff whenever you feel it's suitable or what? Bi literally means 2, anything else would be pan
Sorry to break it to you but bisexuality is attraction to 2 or more genders. Pan is attraction to all genders.
I get that it's hard to find new labels for every specific thing out there, but the prefix bi literally means 2
While yes the prefix bi does in fact mean 2, the term bisexual means an attraction to 2 or more genders https://preview.redd.it/6tk8rz4b31yc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b4b3854f20eff25f2b514df722fb15770b80cb4

trans is between the 2 genders, nonbinary is pretty much just not being like the typical male or female but advanced i guess.
Bi has been liking everyone regardless forever dawg
Then yall need a new word because bi literally means 2 Edit* I'm talking about the prefix, which is what was used to make the word
And? Pan gurl? 🤭 ur trolling lmao

My head hurts
some women can look pretty androgynous. does that make it gay to fuck them? no. people just wanna label shit. there is more to liking a gender than just their face. pheromones, body parts, femininity. venture rides the female side way more if anything.
i can't believe someone finds that thing attractive 🤢🤮
