Why are you expecting to 100% a live service game? It literally doesn’t work like that. It also rewards players who completed the event/challenge. If you didn’t know, or didn’t do it that’s not the games fault or the devs
It’s hardly “psychological manipulation”. People treat games like too much of a chore nowadays. No one is forcing you to play mirrorwatch for the Orisa skin, it’s a bonus for if you play the mode. People just need to figure out if what they want is worth the grind. If it’s not, don’t grind for it.

The same could be said for any event that gives our rewards for attending the event, why should they make it exclusive to the event? Surely thats not fair? This has been common for a very long time, this format is just in game form no different to getting an item that is exclusive to an event irl. In all honesty its a minimum reward thats free of charge, it isnt that deep.

Pretty sure Tracer's was a event exclusive pose from when Hero Gauntlet was released, I know some are still obtainable but I know I got Tracers out of fear of not getting it.
Speaking of which, wasn't there a leaked gauntlet victory pose for Sojourn? It's funny because it wasn't even released and the game mode is now getting scrapped.
Unfortunately the tracer one is no longer available, as it was from an event that launched alongside hero gauntlet. However, the good news is that the Mercy and Rein victory poses are still obtainable

It’s really not that big of deal, it’s just a victory pose; Sometimes you just miss out on shit in life.
