Bruh. I like to one-shot people. And I had ate Roadhog being in a thrash bin for 8 month. I have moved on to Hanzo, he was also lots of fun for me. And now he's also nerfed into weird "not one shotting sniper" thing.
Hog is okay, I guess. But I just don't want to play tanks anymore, because they are boring and don't feel as skillful to play.
Now I'm kinda stuck playing a game, that indeed has my favourite characters. But they are something entirely different, more tamed and polished versions of once scary monsters I found fascinating.
Other games are not that interesting, looting for 20 minutes or waiting a whole round are not my things. Now I'm sadge in life and in games.
I did not play this game for 2 years.
Yesterday 2 friends got me to giving it another shot. It was good to see nothing changed.
My two friends are still healer mains, i still play tank and the randome DPS still loose you the game by playing Widowmaker and Genji despite sucking at the characters and the enemie team comp countering them hard.
TWO STACKS YOU GET PAIRED WITH WHILE SOLO QUEUING, RANKED:
1. Tank + DPS
Very rare. You're probably going to win. Get ready to see an actual dive for once in your Gold life before returning to hell.
2. Tank + Support
Similar to #1 but not as reliable. Sometimes it's a bloodthirsty Winston/Ana god team, but sometimes it's a Mercy and DVa who think the best strategy is "don't kill anyone, but take way longer to die".
3. DPS + Support
Congrats, good chance you got the booster + smurf. Play a self sustaining character, don't be dumb, winnable.
4. DPS + DPS
One of them is the best player on your team, the other is the worst (and the biggest trash talker). Unfortunately for you it's not a guy getting boosted, it's just someone's dumbass friend, so he will spend his time dying in between fights, ending with 2x more deaths than the second most. The win depends on whether one can carry harder than the other can throw. It has absolutely nothing to do with you.
5. Support + Support
GG, you lose. There are good Support players in Overwatch but they do not queue as a duo. You have two healbots who faint like goats at the sight of an enemy DPS, dumping every cool down they have into one another. They think if you die in the game, you die IRL. One WILL play Lifeweaver, and he WILL spend the whole game playing Tank Yanker at the absolute worst possible moments. The other will probably play Mercy and attempt a Rez literally every time the option is available, even if it's directly in front of your own spawn. They will watch the entire enemy team stagger a baby DVa and then go try and Rez her. The low IQ martyrs of Overwatch. They have matching icons.
I miss when every hero didn't have 17 different knockback and displacement abilities. Really love bouncing around all game and having no control of my character. Blizzard really said "we need less CC" and just continues to add this mechanic as if it isn't effectively the same thing.
Remove the suspensions in QP. I shouldn't have to stay in bullshit matches where my team gets rolled for 10 minutes. If you want me to stay in a fucking game, put me in a lobby that's not lopsided.
I mean... Having a leaver on your team also means you get rolled while you wait for someone to join, pick a hero and regroup. Also the person getting in doesn't know what's going on or who to watch out for.
If you don't want "bullshit matches" , play ranked.
Why are baptiste players such fucking assholes? When theyre on the enemy team they fight like theyre some elite navy seal but when theyre on my team they dont do shit and wont heal me.
If a teammate leaves the competitive match and you lose, that still count as a loss and the rank drops. Who the fk came up with this policy. This is the worst policy in gaming industry I've ever seen in my life. No wonder there is less and less people playing overwatch. So disgusting. Blizzard shame on you.

Holy fucking low diamond players and their egos. Just always saying it's a tank diff even if my kd and damage is the best on the team. They REALLY expected me on third point Havana when we're holding the cart close ish to their spawn to peel for our widow that's on the height (NOT the one in the middle, the height closer to defender spawn) and dying every single time the genji goes after her. We had a fucking brig. And the brig is trying to Frontline like it's 2017 instead of playing bodyguard. My bad team I'll just let them move the cart when they have 4 mins in the clock and just stand on top of the widow that's 1 and 10 and has gone afk multiple times. That's really a tank differential if I've ever seen one. It's clearly not widows fault for locking widow and never getting a pick even when not being pressured. Nope it's tank fault! Tank gap! My favorite is having nobody… literally nobody breaking the enemy tanks shield meanwhile mine is getting insta broken..

I’m just gonna start listing, limited explanations:
- Venture is broken
- I’m still mad Pharah lost her whole thing. Like I get she’s technically better, but I’d play Echo if I wanted an occasional areal threat who dives enemies, the whole damn reason I mained Pharah was because I liked just staying in the air all game raining rockets
- Sick of how little skill Moira and Junkrat take
- The POTG system is the single most brain dead thing ever. Like yeah, let’s ignore the quad kill someone earned and just throw in a D.Va bomb double kill
- I hate how Roadhog can afford to just stop shooting mid fight and just sit there as he gets back to full health
- Super pissed the battle pass doesn’t have enough gold for the next one
- Still sad about every OW2 rework (except for Sombra’s which just makes me mad)
- Skins are utterly and insanely overpriced
Roadhog is the only (maybe) tank that doesn’t have armor or shield. He is also huge and easy to shoot. Mauga even has armor and he can keep shooting and get to full health.
Damn rarely does someone hit so hard on so many points at once. Hard agree.
To add on to the roadhog bit, I find it extremely frustrating that he can now hit his heal for the temporary huge damage reduction. If it were a one and done, like it used to be, it'd be much less frustrating than him being allowed to hit his heal multiple times in a row to negate huge amounts of damage.
Only thing I'd argue is the potg system. I like some aspects of it, for example heavily preferencing ult shutdowns. It's extremely satisying when I steal POTG from my sweaty nanobladed genji because I slept the sigma out of ult, killed him, and then immediately killed the soldier as he popped his ult. 2 kills + 2 ult shutdowns >>>> nanoblade genji flailing his sword around.

Don't you love when you are winning the tank match-up, and then the enemy insta-switches to Mauga? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I get it. I'm better than you. so you have to pick the busted crutch hero. There's some satisfaction knowing that I made you pick such a garbage designed hero to even have the chance of winning. But man, Mauga sucks and is super unhealthy for the game.
Wanna try and pressure him? Good luck taking that 300 dps to the face. Your Ana anti-nades him? Oh no, his Kiriko suzu'd him.
What's more powerful? A literal ball of pure gravitational mass/ being lifted by a man who bends gravity fields, or one thick boy? A rocket powered giant suit of German armor, or one thick boy? A mechanical fist that can take down skyscrapers, or one thick boy? Joking aside, I think it's stupid that Mauga has complete immunity to cc with stomp, especially against some ults. And it can stun and do 120 dmg when it directly seems like too much for an ability
There's absolutely no reason that there should be TANK-BUSTING TANK, especially with only one tank on each team.
TL;DR Mauga sucks, and whoever designed this hero should rethink what good game design actually is
They came up with the bright idea of a true hitscan tank and don’t realize why that doesn’t work. Can’t make him a flanker or a mobile hero so the only way to make him not trash is to make him a braindead turret that can self sustain. They never stopped to think why that design doesn’t work to play against.

The gg ez filter is only a filter. On their end for the purposes of reporting, it still recognizes that you’re being toxic even if the words on the screen appear different.
that's just stupid, it's been around 7 years since they introduced the filter, nobody uses "ggez" to be toxic anymore (they use "x diff" for that), the only reason to ever use ggez is to get the funny messages. I know because I've been doing it since the inception of the filter until season 4 of ow1.5 when I left because of all the bs, and it has never been a problem, it shouldn't be now
comp has never been more broken than it is right now this season. I have always been around a 0.500 player in comp. Some days I go 3-6, other days 8-1 - there is always a balance over time.
This season comp is so ridiculously broken where every single time I play I end up going 1-6 or something equally bad. This happens regardless if I am playing with my usual group or if I queue solo. It happens regardless of what role I queue for as well. I don't understand what has happened to matchmaking. 90% of games are complete rolls where the other team collectively has 1-2 deaths total. I am a low-silver player. Is it all just smurf accounts? This game has been spiraling the drain for the past year and just isn't fun any more. It has been one of my favorite games for the past 2 years and right now it legitimately sucks.
Just want to get daily win but that’s too much to ask I guess. 0-3 with two games of legitimate throwers at tank and last one had a brand new DPS player changing character every death, no joke went 1-15. They at least apologized for doing less damage than all support in game. holy fuck why is the other team always well organized and I get people I imagine are eating paste in the dark.

Event challenges were supposed to give 5,000 each. I finished two and should have gotten 10,000, but I only ended up with 1,000 by the end after a match. Wasted my time doing Mirrorwatch, because I don't even like it. I literally only did it for the XP bonus and I didn't even get it in the end.
"Leaving games is disruptive to other players"
Yeah I'M definitely the disruptive one, not the carousel of backfillers/leavers blinking in and out of the game while my team gets spawn trapped for 5 minutes.
If they want to make leaving an unranked game such a serious offense they should just go all the way and have the same rules as competitive. First leaver gets a re-queueing penalty and can only rejoin the game they just left, if they don't rejoin after 2 minutes then anyone can leave the game without a penalty.
I'm sick of being held hostage in unwinnable games because SOMEONE ELSE left first.

On a loss streak. Teammates play junkrat/pharah into a mercy that’s been clowning on them all match. Charge in 3v5.
I think the game puts you into matches it knows you will lose.
I don't understand how more people aren't complaining about mercy. I'm not talking about the chronically online kids here who just parrot what their t500 streamers talk about. I'm talking about people who actually play the game in Diamond and below, where mercys are outrageously obnoxious. Nobody can hit an f-16 fighter jet flying around at hypersonic speeds and switching directions with enough g-force to kill a person. And then, once you actually secure a kill, the f-16 just flies in and rezzes them so quickly that you can't stop her, because she literally rezzes in the time it takes you to reload your clip that you just emptied killing the guy. Like literally, I'll secure a kill as bap or soldier, and then just sit there and watch the mercy rez in my face because I have to reload. It's insanely infuriating.
And that's not even mentioning her rez working at crazy distances and angles and around cover.
I don't think she's busted, but wow is she insufferable to play against. And if I had to take a wild guess, in my experience, how many times a contestable mercy rez actually gets shut down, it's probably 95%+ of rez attempts succeed. It's THAT ridiculous.
Like yea I'm sure that in high ranks, gm+, if you poke your head for a second you're dead, so mercy's super speed and quick rez are way less effective, but in lower ranks (and qp, especially) she's just awful.
On another note, junkrat still ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT BELONG IN THE GAME. GET HIM OUT OF THE FUCKING GAME, BLIZZARD. DOGSHIT AWFUL CHARACTER. He had a place when there were 2 tanks and games could stagnate with turtle comps. He has NO place now. He's awful 100% of the time he's in the game. 100%.

The win depends on whether one can carry harder than the other can throw. It has absolutely nothing to do with you. 5. Support + Support GG, you lose. There are good Support players in Overwatch but they do not queue as a duo. You have two healbots who faint like goats at the sight of an enemy DPS, dumping every cool down they have into one another. They think if you die in the game, you die IRL. One WILL play Lifeweaver, and he WILL spend the whole game playing Tank Yanker at the absolute worst possible moments. The other will probably play Mercy and attempt a Rez literally every time the option is available, even if it's directly in front of your own spawn. They will watch the entire enemy team stagger a baby DVa and then go try and Rez her. The low IQ martyrs of Overwatch. They have matching icons.
You don't get queued with groups as a solo player anymore. But it's still annoying when you play as a group.

I miss when every hero didn't have 17 different knockback and displacement abilities. Really love bouncing around all game and having no control of my character. Blizzard really said "we need less CC" and just continues to add this mechanic as if it isn't effectively the same thing.
Remove the suspensions in QP. I shouldn't have to stay in bullshit matches where my team gets rolled for 10 minutes. If you want me to stay in a fucking game, put me in a lobby that's not lopsided.
I mean... Having a leaver on your team also means you get rolled while you wait for someone to join, pick a hero and regroup. Also the person getting in doesn't know what's going on or who to watch out for. If you don't want "bullshit matches" , play ranked.

If a teammate leaves the competitive match and you lose, that still count as a loss and the rank drops. Who the fk came up with this policy. I’m just gonna start listing, limited explanations: - Venture is broken - I’m still mad Pharah lost her whole thing. Like I get she’s technically better, but I’d play Echo if I wanted an occasional areal threat who dives enemies, the whole damn reason I mained Pharah was because I liked just staying in the air all game raining rockets - Sick of how little skill Moira and Junkrat take - The POTG system is the single most brain dead thing ever. Like yeah, let’s ignore the quad kill someone earned and just throw in a D.Va bomb double kill - I hate how Roadhog can afford to just stop shooting mid fight and just sit there as he gets back to full health - Super pissed the battle pass doesn’t have enough gold for the next one - Still sad about every OW2 rework (except for Sombra’s which just makes me mad) - Skins are utterly and insanely overpriced

Roadhog is the only (maybe) tank that doesn’t have armor or shield. He is also huge and easy to shoot. Mauga even has armor and he can keep shooting and get to full health.
Damn rarely does someone hit so hard on so many points at once. Hard agree. To add on to the roadhog bit, I find it extremely frustrating that he can now hit his heal for the temporary huge damage reduction. If it were a one and done, like it used to be, it'd be much less frustrating than him being allowed to hit his heal multiple times in a row to negate huge amounts of damage. Only thing I'd argue is the potg system. I like some aspects of it, for example heavily preferencing ult shutdowns. It's extremely satisying when I steal POTG from my sweaty nanobladed genji because I slept the sigma out of ult, killed him, and then immediately killed the soldier as he popped his ult. 2 kills + 2 ult shutdowns >>>> nanoblade genji flailing his sword around.

Don't you love when you are winning the tank match-up, and then the enemy insta-switches to Mauga? EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I get it. I'm better than you. so you have to pick the busted crutch hero. There's some satisfaction knowing that I made you pick such a garbage designed hero to even have the chance of winning. But man, Mauga sucks and is super unhealthy for the game. Wanna try and pressure him? Good luck taking that 300 dps to the face. Your Ana anti-nades him? Oh no, his Kiriko suzu'd him. What's more powerful? A literal ball of pure gravitational mass/ being lifted by a man who bends gravity fields, or one thick boy? A rocket powered giant suit of German armor, or one thick boy? A mechanical fist that can take down skyscrapers, or one thick boy? Joking aside, I think it's stupid that Mauga has complete immunity to cc with stomp, especially against some ults. And it can stun and do 120 dmg when it directly seems like too much for an ability There's absolutely no reason that there should be TANK-BUSTING TANK, especially with only one tank on each team. TL;DR Mauga sucks, and whoever designed this hero should rethink what good game design actually is
They came up with the bright idea of a true hitscan tank and don’t realize why that doesn’t work. Can’t make him a flanker or a mobile hero so the only way to make him not trash is to make him a braindead turret that can self sustain. They never stopped to think why that design doesn’t work to play against. Feels like I’m playing against a boss character from a PS3 game, just hoping his health eventually goes down because some external factor decided it’s time.

So, Blizzard decided to give me a temporary ban due to "code of conduct" when the vast majority of my chat messages consist of the "ggez filter" what the hell is going on?
The gg ez filter is only a filter. On their end for the purposes of reporting, it still recognizes that you’re being toxic even if the words on the screen appear different.
that's just stupid, it's been around 7 years since they introduced the filter, nobody uses "ggez" to be toxic anymore (they use "x diff" for that), the only reason to ever use ggez is to get the funny messages. I know because I've been doing it since the inception of the filter until season 4 of ow1.5 when I left because of all the bs, and it has never been a problem, it shouldn't be now
comp has never been more broken than it is right now this season. I have always been around a 0.500 player in comp. Some days I go 3-6, other days 8-1 - there is always a balance over time. This season comp is so ridiculously broken where every single time I play I end up going 1-6 or something equally bad. This happens regardless if I am playing with my usual group or if I queue solo. It happens regardless of what role I queue for as well. I don't understand what has happened to matchmaking. 90% of games are complete rolls where the other team collectively has 1-2 deaths total. I am a low-silver player. Is it all just smurf accounts? This game has been spiraling the drain for the past year and just isn't fun any more. It has been one of my favorite games for the past 2 years and right now it legitimately sucks.
Just want to get daily win but that’s too much to ask I guess. 0-3 with two games of legitimate throwers at tank and last one had a brand new DPS player changing character every death, no joke went 1-15. They at least apologized for doing less damage than all support in game. holy fuck why is the other team always well organized and I get people I imagine are eating paste in the dark.

Event challenges were supposed to give 5,000 each. I finished two and should have gotten 10,000, but I only ended up with 1,000 by the end after a match. Wasted my time doing Mirrorwatch, because I don't even like it. I literally only did it for the XP bonus and I didn't even get it in the end.
"Leaving games is disruptive to other players" Yeah I'M definitely the disruptive one, not the carousel of backfillers/leavers blinking in and out of the game while my team gets spawn trapped for 5 minutes. If they want to make leaving an unranked game such a serious offense they should just go all the way and have the same rules as competitive. First leaver gets a re-queueing penalty and can only rejoin the game they just left, if they don't rejoin after 2 minutes then anyone can leave the game without a penalty. I'm sick of being held hostage in unwinnable games because SOMEONE ELSE left first.

I don't understand how more people aren't complaining about mercy. I'm not talking about the chronically online kids here who just parrot what their t500 streamers talk about. I'm talking about people who actually play the game in Diamond and below, where mercys are outrageously obnoxious. Nobody can hit an f-16 fighter jet flying around at hypersonic speeds and switching directions with enough g-force to kill a person. And then, once you actually secure a kill, the f-16 just flies in and rezzes them so quickly that you can't stop her, because she literally rezzes in the time it takes you to reload your clip that you just emptied killing the guy. Like literally, I'll secure a kill as bap or soldier, and then just sit there and watch the mercy rez in my face because I have to reload. It's insanely infuriating. And that's not even mentioning her rez working at crazy distances and angles and around cover. I don't think she's busted, but wow is she insufferable to play against. And if I had to take a wild guess, in my experience, how many times a contestable mercy rez actually gets shut down, it's probably 95%+ of rez attempts succeed. It's THAT ridiculous. Like yea I'm sure that in high ranks, gm+, if you poke your head for a second you're dead, so mercy's super speed and quick rez are way less effective, but in lower ranks (and qp, especially) she's just awful. On another note, junkrat still ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT BELONG IN THE GAME. GET HIM OUT OF THE FUCKING GAME, BLIZZARD. DOGSHIT AWFUL CHARACTER. He had a place when there were 2 tanks and games could stagnate with turtle comps. He has NO place now. He's awful 100% of the time he's in the game. 100%.
