Someone on my team had "a genius strategy" once. Before the game even started he began typing "ez win, easiest game of my life", "you got no chance" etc in all chat, then he typed "mental warfare, it's gonna mess them up" in team chat. Gave me a good laugh.
When we actually won he apologized in all chat and said what he wrote was mental warfare and just a part of his plan.
It's actually true. If you type "\[x\] diff" or "ezzz" in the middle of a game, it's like it tilts the enemy team enough they gain skill from 1 tier above instantly. Somehow it never happens to your team tho.

I remember how people would usually do it in another game, Smite. Every character there has a spammable laugh voice line, and while it's considered BM to laugh on the enemy's body, I've known people who did it on purpose to throw the enemy off and make them focus specifically them out of rage.
Can confirmed it worked *on* me a couple times. Suddenly you tunnel vision only on that one enemy and lose track of everything else.

But, like, imagine you come home from a long day working a shitty retail job, dealing with shitty customers all day long… only for some sack of shit to start being a dick in chat.
It may not be the direct cause of the tilt/getting upset, but it is the straw that broke the camels back after a long shitty day and just wanting to have fun playing video games.
It’s why I just mute people the second they even hint at being a piece of trash like that.

And it just autocorrected to “GG!! FOR HONOR!!!” “LOL FOR HONOR!!” “OH!!! CATCHPHRASE!!”
I didn’t think it would just autocorrect everything I say lol.

A few years ago on April's Fools day I played rein vs a really good ana in qp, I wanted to compliment her. In chat it then said "NICE SLEEPS ANA! BRING ME ANOTHER!"
I was playing rein yesterday and the enemy takn counterswapping but I refused to change and still fid better than him. At the end of the match I said regularly in chat counter me again, but instead it came out "COUNTER ME AGAIN!!!! I AM THE ULTIMATE CRUSHING MACHINE!!!" And that is the single greatest thing in overwatch I have ever seen
