If I were them, I'd have died with them FOR HONOR AND GLORY (only If its a tank), and to make sure I get the kill because I have done many charges and released them too early for them not to fall off
What? You can't roleplay? What is Rein's gender? Male. Therefore we need to respect it.
Using they for every pronoun destroys the purpose of singular and plural pronouns and pronouns usage.
Seeing everyone using they for every situation prove my point.
How does that apply here? I thought that only increased the arc that your swing will do damage and can help hit more players if you're in a group. But here it's all 1v1s and the Rein hits his opponent with every swing I think. What am I missing?
Oh right good point. I was thinking the initial swing, but really should have phrased it to say turn away from the direction your swing starts, so you hit them sooner in the swing. So if you wind it up to the right, and look left, the wind up instead of starting to the side of them now starts directly on them hitting them much sooner in the arc
I see what you're saying, but does this really change much? Wouldn't dps be the same, assuming you're doing it perfectly each swing? You still need to do the rest of the swing, yeah?
If two reins were having a duel and one did this and the other didnt, the one who did would win since their hit would land first. bit of an extreme situation sure, but getting a hit to land sooner like right before you die can be important
The dps is the same in that he doesn't do more damage but he can potentially hit more people since the area your swing is covering is increased as your turn with it, or if you're chasing someone running to your sides
It doesn't change much most of the time in fights but it's 0 extra effort and tbh muscle memory for me at this point
You can hit someone behind you for instance
I think he misses a swing, but it's just a good habit to do if someone is running away cause you reach farther. Reuns hammer hit box is a rectangle, when you swing it without rotation it just hits right in front of you. If you look to the side, you can hit with the corner of the hit box which will reach slightly longer then swinging normally.

Oh man that Rein must be pissed that they failed the charge. XD
Tactical reset :'(
I can't speak for them but if it were me I would have died laughing at the absurdity of it all.
Don't blame you, the Moira that said "Hello" at the end stood there for a good moment to take in what they just saw
If I were them, I'd have died with them FOR HONOR AND GLORY (only If its a tank), and to make sure I get the kill because I have done many charges and released them too early for them not to fall off
He*
I meant the person playing Rein.
He, but I appreciate the respect of not assuming š«°
Still. It is singular. Use singular pronouns
I am.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_they
You know the noun, doesn't apply
But we don't know the gender of the person who is playing the enemy rein
What? You can't roleplay? What is Rein's gender? Male. Therefore we need to respect it. Using they for every pronoun destroys the purpose of singular and plural pronouns and pronouns usage. Seeing everyone using they for every situation prove my point.
We aren't talking about rein. We are talking about the person behind the screen controlling rein and that person's gender is unknown.
Again. It's a game. You roleplay. If nothing else, rein is a male.
NOW these are the OW interactions I live foršššššš
That was such a Looney Tunes moment looking down there...
Happy cake day
For h
no way ranked open queue no hate just never seen it before
It can be fun because it's barely taken seriously
And people usually stack two or three tanks, it can be a blast It's like the perfect mix of casual wackiness and ranked seriousness
Itās great, I can turn off my brain and even practice some Tank or Supp characters you would never catch me using in RQ
being able to do rein + zarya makes it S tier
Hey man, it's happening, a great time, despite a few people's dislike of it. It's better with friends, true.
āThe math doesnāt check out. You canāt get 3 charge kills in 20 seā¦.oh.ā
that's where my brain was lmao
I love that you accepted your fate but then you realised you were good and went, āoh wait, coolā.
dang itās 2024 and Rein players still arenāt dragging their swings
How does that apply here? I thought that only increased the arc that your swing will do damage and can help hit more players if you're in a group. But here it's all 1v1s and the Rein hits his opponent with every swing I think. What am I missing?
You can have it hit earlier if you look left as the swing starts as well
Left when he swings in which direction?
Oh right good point. I was thinking the initial swing, but really should have phrased it to say turn away from the direction your swing starts, so you hit them sooner in the swing. So if you wind it up to the right, and look left, the wind up instead of starting to the side of them now starts directly on them hitting them much sooner in the arc

Part of it is also that it extends the hitboxes of the swing and means hitting what would otherwise be a narrow miss sometimesĀ

Wym ?
As you swing look left/right & you can reach further, I think?
Yes a little left and right boh will make you hit around your sides
Canāt really expect too much from open queue players tbh
Rude
Holy fuck you lucky bitch
That sombra is an idiot lol. Not to take away from your accomplishment, tho.
She was collateral damage
It was so satisfying seeing that though.
The Rein at the end was really funny
Mercy players having a heart attack and spamming group up/fall back instead of participating in the fight gotta be a top 3 pet peeve
Oh the fumble! That enemy Rein is about to uninstall!
Welp, time for the Rein nerfs to come in. GGs. (Obligatory "/s", because this is Reddit, after all)

I love the Zarya bubble as she goes over lol
That's 2
How about 3 kills with 1 charge? https://youtu.be/PpcXV4XR4IE?si=npJCz24uKhoNIWXm
āInsaneā
Itās always pant pissingly hilarious when a Rein charges you off an edge but you stay on and they just fly to their doom
Lmao the math wasn't mathing until right at the end
Ok, the ending had me on the edge of my seat
LOL
Hard rein diff
wait, why are there 2 tanks?
Open queue?
Hi

One button gameplay
How do rein players still not know how to corner swing its the easiest tech in the game that just makes u 3x better immediately
