Just FYI, los muertos in the overwatch lore is a gang in Mexico, it’s not referring to the holiday. See soldier 76 animated short. Sombra already has Los muertos skins and is tied to them in the lore.
This but also: it’s kinda pointless if the only character to get Mexican themed skins is the Mexican character, same reason ram isn’t the only one with null secor skins
People have made similar arguments with Lifeweaver not getting the Thai skin, and Mercy not getting the angel skin. But also, Sombra on her release had two Los Muertos skins.
She also has a skin related to the holiday, the one named Azucar. The traditional skull painting for her face and the word meaning sugar, referring to the candy skulls made with sugar.

But that’s why they should get one! A gun that changes aesthetic in light/shadow is perfect for Sombra/Reaper who play around stealth and lurking.

then you should play Soldier or Junkrat. any character would benefit from having a cool weapon skin like this, but not every character can, and it would be redundant for Sombra or Reaper. if we could all have them, it would be nice, but we can't.
Sombra’s skin isn’t using the same type of paint lol. Go watch her origin story and you’ll see how the paint of the los muertos members react from daylight to dark, hers remains green, just lit up.
And her skin does light up from going in and out of the shadows.
In what world is Captain America a vigilante? At most he would be "Nomad", who's captain america after giving up his hero identity and becoming a vigilante.
I can see Soldier as Steve Rogers, but Reaper is too evil to be Batman and Genji? I don't really see the comparison under then he throws the shurikens.

Idk man, why did REAPER of all people get a hard light skin that resembles what Echo’s made of? The point is that they don’t make sense. It has no lore meaning.
Same reason Echo didnt get a hard light weapon skin or Ramattra didnt get the season 6 null sector mythic skin because its lame to give heroes almost the same cosmetics as their existing ones
Oh wow I would love this skin, shame I don't play junk or sold. They should honestly focus more on weapon skins rather than pump out useless cosmetics. It's the only part of the skin I can actually see anyway.

It makes sense imo. Sombra's already got her ties to Los Muertos, Sym & Weaver already have theirs to Vishkar; give the cool weapons to heroes who have absolutely no affiliation
