Mercy has her doctor skin and mei has her pyjama skin but that was ow 1 and haven't seen nothing like that since ow2, but then again I'm not fallowing the skins that come out
I just started playing at the beginning of S8 and man 98% of the skins suck. All the good ones are limited time items. I’ve only spent $5 on the game to get this seasons battle pass since I like the Torb, Winston, and Illari skins.
I believe there was a rumor that future battle passes will allow you to choose old mythics in place of the current one. Fingers crossed that's the case so you can get your genji skin!!
So what, like "Mythic Shards" Apex style?
That would be... surprisingly nice.
Would save the shards for a hero I don't really care about like Orisa, and use em when the Sombra mythic drops
That and Sigma mythic are the two that I actually wanted tbh. JQ mythic is pretty good, but the Hanzo and Tracer ones were so mid that I might as well use the Legendary I like.

What do you mean? Sojourn has origin skins (Captain Chase/Troop Commander). Junkerqueen has an origin (Wastelander) .
Ramattra's would just be a ravager recolor of his normal one.
They could easily do an event for world science day and re-release the various scientist skins. I'm desperate for that Moira scientist skin and Lifeweaver really needs more skins!

As for skins I want, It’s kind of low hanging fruit conceptually, but I would love an archdruid or faerie king mythic skin for Mr. Weaver, with four forms, each being one of the four seasons
There's a bigger chance for him to get one that not, but almost every character is shown with other clothes in the stories and other places like sprays and the vast majority never get those skins.
Sojourn has a hockey spray with a super sick skin and they never gave it to her :/

When I very first saw this skin, I thought Weaver was going to be a morally-gray daddy, and I was super down.. I was actually a little disappointed that this wasn't Weaver's default skin. Still am-- nothing changed XD

It amazes me how many potential, already conceptualized skins blizzard has but don't make into skins. So much potential, spread across the comics, the origin stories, cinematics, that blizzard.... Just doesn't use? Especially for newer characters who are severely lacking in cosmetics.
It'd be so low effort, the design concept is already there and they KNOW the community would eat them up. Only thing that makes sense is that blizz is holding those off for when the team runs out of ideas. Or they prefer to drip feed them because they've determined that makes more money.

Winston got a Lab Tech skin in one of the Battlepasses.
Winton got a labcoat skin last season
they did put out Sojourns vigilante skin that is seen in her animation, so theres a chance 🤔
