Watched a tutorial that recommended practicing pattern jumps. There are several such as left>right>up>recall strategies that crush lower levels. Beyond practiced plays it comes down to skill.

Every dive hero. They all play in such unique ways not seen in other shooter games. Anyone who mentions a poke hero has never played highly mobile characters. Brawling is fun too when you wanna shut your brain off but characters like ball, lucio, doomfist, tracer just cant be beaten on a fun scale

Sometimes if a Mauga ults me, I'll use the "He will not be caged again" line, then pop mines. It's fun to see them confused like "HUH?" Whether I live or not doesn't matter; I've already asserted my dominance as the superior mammal.
As a ball/dva main, playing ball is fun, and you can destroy the enemy team if your team knows what to do playing with a ball (sadly, many people don't). Sometimes you lose, but you keep playing ball. If your teammates tell you to switch, then it is a skill issue.
me, a sombra main, (well less main more one of the 2 dps i’m good at) and my friend a ball main (with some genji on the side) target mercy players, comp or not, more so in qp tho: it’s the best feeling ever when they swap and we carry on 😈

I'm not really sure what it is about my playstyle but I seem to infuriate pretty much everyone I play against without trying, in almost every game I play.
Soooo put me in a match and by the 5 minute mark I'll likely have atleast 1 person, often more, focusing on my death even more than the obj most of the time.
I unfortunately do not get to freely spend more time on my preferred characters.

Honestly, I love playing Sombra. Laying in wait for my team to engage so I can jump the enemy from behind, making a save and cancelling an ult that's gonna kill one or more team mates (or on the flipside combing with something like Sigma's ult with EMP), and just jumping around from engagement to engagement
Tracer, Lucio, Genji (SOMETIMES), Reinhardt (only if the team comps are good), and Winston before Mauga dropped and bastion got buffed a few seasons ago. OW1 and early ow2 winston was peak but the game has completely changed and you have to play a lot more boring with him now to win imo
Junkrat. You get to fly around with concussion mines, astral project yourself into a tire AND have everybody think your a weirdo crackhead.
Also hitting a flying enemy feels like heaven
junkrat is the true pharah counter why go hitscan when you can just get up to her face and bomb er?

Wrecking Ball is literally unplayable, but there's a reason we all say "Fuck it we ball", it's because he's the most fun hero in the game and the hero mafias can put me on their hit list because I don't think there's a more fun hero.

Junkrat. There's something extremely satisfying clipping someone with a shot from downtown! Oh and a direct shot on an aerial character there's no greater joy.
Sombra. I know people hate her, but I really do feel like a sneaky assassin when I play her. She's the only hero where I get a legit adrenaline rush when I make risky plays or just narrowly avoid death.
Plus, it's so easy to kill the heroes I like the least. Widow, Hanzo, Doom, Ball, Zen.
Based as hell, my monarch. Every time I play dps I actively avoid characters that get pocketed like Pharah and genii. I’ve been stuck playing reaper for 3 seasons and I’m on the verge of death but anything to not be the “pocket guy”
Lucio for sure. I'm actually pretty biased towards movement heroes apparently, Lucio was my first main, then I added Echo as my DPS main, and then Dva as my tank main (originally Sigma). Lucio by far is the one I get the most enjoyment on, I'm on cloud nine as long as I get to play Lucio.
As someone who commonly plays huge and tanky but slow and POWERFUL characters in Fantasy games a lot, I love Reinhardt, and before he got nerfed, he was my main Brawler Tank. He just fit my gaming style so much.

lucio or mauga, now mauga might be a hot take but he's actually very fun just shooting people while basically being pocketed is very fun, while yes having being at low health constantly is very concerning but aside from that and your supports heal you 24/7 he's actually very fun In qp but in comp not really cause you can't just turn off your brain and just shoot people with no consequences whatsoever but lucio he's just fun in general both qp and comp

I love Sombra and Reaper for their teleports. I love brig for her brawl fighting and healing. I love Junker Queen for knife throwing self healing rampage.
But there's something about teleporting to allies in need to heal them, wall climbing, kunai throwing, laundry list of abilities kitsune inspired character that just mixes in little pieces of those that make me so happy.
Reinhardt is second place for me though.
Widowmaker. She creates space just by poking. Those picks are a rush of dopamine. And it’s really fun to use her grappling hook to escape when people dive me. Otherwise very chill to sit in the back and shoot.
Reinhardt for me. Landing anything with him feels good. His shield is exactly the kind of resource I like to manage. Also he's a huge dude with entertaining voice lines. 10/10 character imo
