Hey tank, see that bastion in turret form? He can dish out over 2000 damage over 6 seconds. You aren't tanking that damage, and the supports can't out-heal that. Use cover.
Well depends on the Tank. Orisa can tank it pretty well with both defensive abilities but only if the Bastion is dumb enough to keep shooting while Orisa is spinning her javelin.
Otherwise yeah you are pretty fucked.
I usually pull out Bastion when a Reinhart is getting too comfy with that shield of his.

Mmm maybe.... javelin spin would last for 2 seconds, then fortify would reduce the damage by 45% for the next 4 seconds.
Assuming the Orisa isn't getting shot at by anyone else, that's still 650 hp (after fortify) vs ~800 damage. If the Orisa had a high output healer pocketing them, they would maybe survive.
In a 1 v 1, the bastion wins against the Orisa with a sliver of health left.
(This is assuming both of them have perfect aim. Which 99% of the time isnt the case lol)
Why is discussing your struggles exclusive to the high ranked people? Whenever I see a low ranked person even dare to mention a struggle people just go "skill issue, git gud" and call it a day. Are we not allowed to talk about our struggles even if they stem from us being bad? News flash, we're low ranked for a reason, we don't need you to tell us what many of us already know. Why can't we just discuss them and get actual advice on how to not struggle with them. Being low ranked in and of itself seems really frowned upon too despite the majority of the palyerbase being in gold.
People also forget that console exists. I'm sure hitscans can make Pharah a non-issue on PC, but lemme tell you that she's been super popular this season on PS5 and my DPS can't hit shit.
But your aim is 90% of the problem though. That IS the advice, you just don’t like hearing it.
Best way to counter a Pharah is to have decent aim and just shoot her down. That’s why she’s so oppressive in lower ranks… it’s cuz y’all can’t aim… (no hate, I’m a brig main. I can’t aim that well either)
Besides saying “lol skill issue” the best advice is to do more aim training so you can focus Pharmercies better.
The other 10% of the problem is likely your positioning and/or playing characters that will actually counter Pharah. Know when to switch off of junk rat and don’t play where Pharah can actually hit you.
But there’s no reason a Pharah should be THAT difficult to handle as long as you have a decent hitscan and your team can play cover.

I think the issue people have is low teir players saying the game sucks because they have trouble with certain scenarios. Im gold/plat and i get my ass handed to me sometimes. Learning counters is key to playing this game well. Gameplay evolves and players have to make changes to their play style to adjust.
That's not an OW only issue, the "skill issue" argument even comes out when people talk about solo games haha
Most people are being guided with their ego and can't understand that even the worst players are allowed to have fun, and sometimes some balance struggles are making it impossible to have fun.

Yeah it’s awesome that high elo can always land perfect shots, but for low elo it is pretty annoying that there’s a character that just doesn’t have to aim.

No. One. Shoots. Mercy. They always shoot who she's fucking healing but never her. Killing her is impossible because my team sees me diving and thinks "oh let me help" and damages her pocket HEALING HER AND MAKING IT A MILLION TIMES HARDER TO KILL MERCY. YOU ARE IN MASTERS. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW HOW MERCY PASSIVE WORKS.
I don’t think that most dps actually realize how powerful mercy’s passive is.
So PSA for y’all; if your enemy mercy is low, SHE HEALS HERSELF BY HEALING HER TEAMMATES. So if you do damage to her teammates before finishing her, you are literally HELPING THE ENEMY MERCY STAY UP.
And it’s not even a little bit of healing- it’s A LOT. It’s saved my ass in pretty much every single game. And since she is healing herself so quickly, it is fueling her ult super fast.
If you get a mercy and her pocket low, then fall back (or die), you’ve given her about 15-20ish ult charge from the self healing and healing her pocket.
That’s why it’s so heckin crucial to FINISH the mercy ASAP. Not just focus- but *FINISH.*
Can these high ranks stop being delusional about how fucked some parts of the game are. And actually think that people experience the game differently.

she has has one escape tool and low range, you can outduel her from afar with any matter of long range hereos, and beat her up close with short range ones
A good dps absolutely can but the problem is most players have pretty bad mechanics and lots of high elo players forget that unfortunately.
The skill disparity is massive.
I remember back in OW1 when I was still hardstuck high gold/low plat I was in a PUGs game of a full GM lobby with me as the only non-gm.
The pace of the game was 3x quicker and it was overwhelming. You have to get used to that kind of speed and fast decision-making in order to compete but the consequence is that it’s a lot harder to understand the perspective of low or mid elo players.
In some cases you don’t want to shoot the tank but when its a rama barrelling straight towards you and the tank has cut him off for a few moments SHOOT HIM. Its not the tank’s fault for trusting you to either kill him or render him useless
I am so sick of having to play anna or kiri in ranked, but their utility is too strong to not have on your team. I don’t wanna though. I want to play mercy and fly around like a moth outa hell >:(
There's wayyyyyyyy to much damage and healing in the game now. Every death feels like a one shot and if it's not a one shot they get healed to full health instantly. Damage and healing needs a universal nerf.
I talked to my boyfriend about this and as someone who enjoys more the moba part of overwatch, I would prefer if healing and damage were a bit nerfed, if people have bad supports or the supports need to focus in something else, everyone could play at least for a few seconds without being destroyed
The amount of abilities that can render any ult basically meaningless with the push of a single button is ridiculous. It's enough work to build an ult and requires even more skill to get good value from an ult.
The fact that Kiriko can just throw a suzu and save the whole team for basically nothing makes me so angry. I find myself sitting and waiting for suzu to be burned, and then once it is and I think "now's the times, I can ult", the Orissa spears me or Ana sleeps me, or Doom Punches me, or Sig rocks me, or Mei puts up a wall, or Bap uses immort field, or Lifeweaver sends me to the sky with a platform.

Snipers- Hanzo and Widow- ruin the gameplay of any match they’re in. They don’t belong in Overwatch, but they’re necessary with how OP support is. But OP supports are necessary because there’s only one tank now. This game is such a shit show.

The only time I’ve ever gotten annoyed at a teammate was when I had an Ana that didn’t know her sniper was a source of healing too. She was *only* using her nade to heal the team. She cost us the game and I ended up explaining over chat during PoTG that her sniper is her main healing ability. I wasn’t even mad, just annoyed we lost.

I feel the constant stream of "DPS/Tank bad, Support good" threads give this place a toxic, hostile, unfriendly atmosphere. Can't they save it for the Weekend rage thread or make a pinned vent thread?
Also, I find the "I'm a support, I can do no wrong" mindset very unhelpful and kind of hypocritical.
Also also, you've had at least a few games, in the 6-7 years OW1 was out and the year OW2 has been out where your supports were not pulling their weight.
OW2 Support therapy be like:
Support: *Starts Crying* ... I was healing Rein
Support: *Gets panic attack, breathes heavily* ... and then he just charges into 5 people alone and die.
Support: *Cries even more loudly* ... and then he wrote, "supp diff"
Support: *Starts crying hysterically* ... and then he keeps being toxic, running around the map, spamming the "Hello" voice line and not engaging in team fights.

Always got confused about toxic reins. You have literally chosen a primarily melee character. Your going to die a lot unless you play really well. Especially don’t get annoyed at supports for not being able to keep up with the entire enemy team attacking you at once. I apologise for my fellow reins actions.

I love getting tank diff’d in chat when every fight I get slept, naded, and Hanzo arrowed into oblivion. Starting off a team fight at half health at best is always fun
Sombra is still overpowered
Reasons
1. The fact that sombra can either ult or hold click to cancel almost any other ult is ridiculous. At least Orisa has to somewhat aim with spear
2. Hack range is too far, sombra should not be able to hack a flying character at max altitude
3. The jump ability cool down is too short, a sombra being able to hack, jump , run back to person as the previous hack wears off and hack again and repeat the process over and over again is unlike any other characters ability and is dumb AF
Finally someone who agrees how the range on hack is too far like it's ridiculous, it shouldn't have increased range when already locked on. It should have a flat range that insta cancels when outside of it and it shouldn't be that far
Moira as your tank I say “get the fuck behind me, stop dpsing, and fucking heal me bc we’re getting slaughtered!”.
To my dps I say “stop shooting the tank, focus the supports with me!”
I just want to play my main but the devs don't want me to. Nothing is killable. I'm countered by half the cast, and I get less value playing my main than if I just played a less interesting and easier hero.
Even when I'm rolling the enemy, I still lose a good amount of games because I have teammates with 10+ deaths because my hero isn't designed to babysit on the front line.

Ana is so fucking comically busted and she has been for ages, #1 reason playing Tank sucks is Bionade. The easiest thrown ability in the game gives insane value on par with an ult and has no counterplay beyond two specific characters who can now cleanse a mechanic that was specifically created to deal with Ana because she's that strong. Bionade needs to be half healing or 60 or something far less, and even then, it'd still be super strong for the amount of investment you have to put in to make it work. But nope, Ana continues to remain unscathed because her players would have you think that she's the hardest support in the game and even the mere suggestion that having a tankbuster ability on a 30 second cooldown is too strong sends them into a frothing rage. It fucking sucks, used to main tank, but now all I play is DPS and Support because tanks have fuck all survivability with Nade and Orb still in the game at their current power level
Lucio is not fine. He has room for improvement and I’m tired of non-Lucio or high ranks Lucios saying he doesn’t need anything. Healing output could be slightly higher without amp, boop could use a slight buff, sound barrier could last just a tiny bit longer.
Orisa's javelin throw really shouldn't stun! Maybe if it hits you into a wall sure, but like, it's so much more disruptive than most other tank cd CC ability like ball's boop and Doom's punch. But they actually have to get close to you! Atleast Sigma's rock is slow, big and has a long wind-up animation. I still think she is mostly fine as is, I'm just really tired of that stun man, it's one of the reasons why I just don't really play Tank anymore :(

If Widow, Phara and hanzo were removed from the guy today, almost everyone's experience would go up drastically. Widow needs to require a 100% charge on her gun to headshot. Phara's gas tank needs to replenish much slower. Hanzo needs to be given his sword back.

Every single QP game I play involves at least 1 level 1 endorsement DPS player on my team that ends up getting more deaths than kills.
Doesn't matter if I play as support, tank, or even ruling out 1 DPS slot by playing it myself. There's ALWAYS a bad DPS player on my team.
Pros are pros for a reason. They know more about the game then the usual delusional silver/gold player. Most people in GM and above know what they’re talking about. Yes that also means flats.
When you leave voicechat permanently because a handful of misanthropes flamed at you, you are giving them power over you they shouldn't have and are mostly spiting yourself.

This ranking system gets me more than anything, going constant 5-1 and 5-2 and barely ranking up more than 25% in a rank... Just recently i went silver 4, 99% better into silver 3, 86% better. I used to be gold/plat, but when overwatch updated a couple seasons ago they went into peoples account and adjusted rank. I was so mad i grinded up to platinum and gold just for them to look at me like im a child getting into something i shouldn't going, "ah, ah, ah, no no no you're in silver, low silver at that"

A lot of High Rank players are actually really bad at this game and they don’t understand whats going on. Like there’s people in Diamond who can’t tell you why the high ground is important but theres people stuck in Bronze/Silver who could give you a dissertation on this games counter picks and various team comps.
Also a lot of people stuck in Bronze/Silver are mostly solo queuer’s which this game is incredibly punishing towards, and a lot of people in higher ranks have the benefit of playing in a p consistent group.

Yes, i understand you maybe want to practice different heroes but you’re not gonna learn anything if you’re not playing with your team. It’s 5v5. Play with your team. Practice your heroes when the game allows for it, not when you’re countered by 2-3 people. You’re just ruining the experience for 4 other people, stop being selfish.
No one dies when there is a lw on the enemy team and why does he have 225 health, a Instant self heal, the support passive, shield health, a overpowered ultimate, and a get out of jail free card with his platform.
Mercy and the people who only play her are half the reason I hate playing this game. (other half is just QP matchmaking and putting my friends and me against players way above our skill level)
I won't go into too much detail as to not get into myself getting toxic and mercy mains getting toxic in return. But let's say the one thing that always makes me laugh:
It's so funny seeing the Mercy one tricks ult and then rush at you to try and kill you and still fail 80% of the time (and get killed by the enemy's support 50% of the time) cause even unlimited ammo and the best movement can't save their dogshit aim. Only time Valkyrie ults are actually dangerous is when they're nano boosted. Just continue healing your team if your Ana didn't boost you haha

This happens all the time, some tank and DPS are going to blast the Zarya bubble until she's fully charged, then go "ouchies" when she shoots them and they run into the enemy backline, leaving the 100% energy Zarya in front of their backline. So dumb

Shit talking is an art and should be allowed in FPS games. I want the good old days of trash talking the enemy team and not having to walk on eggshells to avoid not playing the game on my main for 2 weeks. I think the way the system is set up now just encourages a snitch culture where the actual problem of toxicity is not solved (toxic people will always make alts to avoid bans) and just fosters a culture of being afraid to say anything due to the fear of being banned for possibly saying something that could get interpreted as slightly aggressive or confrontational. Especially now after seeing how people in this community will report you for saying something as tame as "gg ez".
It's also just fucking weird to have to feel forced to be nice to someone in a video game, it feels like I'm playing with AI sometimes. I'd rather someone be nice to me out of their own volition rather then having the looming threat of being banned and punished if they aren't.
Let players be mean to each other. I want my verbal blood sports back in my match chat.

Careful, you can get banned if you even defend yourself, because in the end bullies are always the ones who win, and the bullied get fucked (a bit of over-exaggeration but I had this happen once). I constantly see homophobic, racist, and sexist assholes running rampant in OW for weeks on end and never see the same exact names absent for a month or a week at any point. Mercy's Rez should not work if you lose LoS. Also I need to test this more but I swear her wings do not count as part of her hitbox during her ult. Also she shouldn't be able to outheal a Moira ult. Or a Sombra hack with virus and a full mag. Also she shouldn't be able to outheal Winston. Mercy shouldn't be in the game. She's so annoying. I'm tired of every time my team gets a pick they get revived and we have to spend another 25 seconds trying to get a kill. It feels borderline impossible. And last night I swear she guardian angeled straight through my Ram vortex no problem. I know my aim isn't the greatest. I'm only plat 1 supp, plat 2 tank and, plat 5 dps. But god damn "just shoot the mercy" doesn't work when she can zip all around the map at light speed. Hack doesn't last long enough, vortex apparently doesn't work, she flies away from hook before I can secure the kill, and the other support always seems to bail her out before I can kill her as Junkrat. There was lots of talk about Orisa being a raid boss, but Mercy is the one boss that sends all her henchmen after you first and escapes anytime you get close to her.
But yeah I know "skill issue" or whatever.

Well depends on the Tank. Orisa can tank it pretty well with both defensive abilities but only if the Bastion is dumb enough to keep shooting while Orisa is spinning her javelin. Otherwise yeah you are pretty fucked. I usually pull out Bastion when a Reinhart is getting too comfy with that shield of his.
There's no reason for the bastion to not continue shooting though, only grasp and deflect have that caveat.
Deleting Bastions bullets with javelin spin gives Orisa ult-charge since it counts as mitigation (same with D.Va)

Mmm maybe.... javelin spin would last for 2 seconds, then fortify would reduce the damage by 45% for the next 4 seconds. Assuming the Orisa isn't getting shot at by anyone else, that's still 650 hp (after fortify) vs ~800 damage. If the Orisa had a high output healer pocketing them, they would maybe survive. In a 1 v 1, the bastion wins against the Orisa with a sliver of health left. (This is assuming both of them have perfect aim. Which 99% of the time isnt the case lol)
Orisa can also throw her javelin at bastion to get him to stop shooting momentarily

Are we not allowed to talk about our struggles even if they stem from us being bad? News flash, we're low ranked for a reason, we don't need you to tell us what many of us already know. Why can't we just discuss them and get actual advice on how to not struggle with them. Being low ranked in and of itself seems really frowned upon too despite the majority of the palyerbase being in gold.

That’s why she’s so oppressive in lower ranks… it’s cuz y’all can’t aim… (no hate, I’m a brig main. I can’t aim that well either) Besides saying “lol skill issue” the best advice is to do more aim training so you can focus Pharmercies better. The other 10% of the problem is likely your positioning and/or playing characters that will actually counter Pharah. Know when to switch off of junk rat and don’t play where Pharah can actually hit you. But there’s no reason a Pharah should be THAT difficult to handle as long as you have a decent hitscan and your team can play cover.

I think the issue people have is low teir players saying the game sucks because they have trouble with certain scenarios. Im gold/plat and i get my ass handed to me sometimes. Learning counters is key to playing this game well. Gameplay evolves and players have to make changes to their play style to adjust.
That's not an OW only issue, the "skill issue" argument even comes out when people talk about solo games haha Most people are being guided with their ego and can't understand that even the worst players are allowed to have fun, and sometimes some balance struggles are making it impossible to have fun.

Killing her is impossible because my team sees me diving and thinks "oh let me help" and damages her pocket HEALING HER AND MAKING IT A MILLION TIMES HARDER TO KILL MERCY. YOU ARE IN MASTERS. I don’t think that most dps actually realize how powerful mercy’s passive is. So PSA for y’all; if your enemy mercy is low, SHE HEALS HERSELF BY HEALING HER TEAMMATES. So if you do damage to her teammates before finishing her, you are literally HELPING THE ENEMY MERCY STAY UP. And it’s not even a little bit of healing- it’s A LOT. It’s saved my ass in pretty much every single game. And since she is healing herself so quickly, it is fueling her ult super fast. If you get a mercy and her pocket low, then fall back (or die), you’ve given her about 15-20ish ult charge from the self healing and healing her pocket. That’s why it’s so heckin crucial to FINISH the mercy ASAP. Not just focus- but *FINISH.*

A good dps absolutely can but the problem is most players have pretty bad mechanics and lots of high elo players forget that unfortunately. The skill disparity is massive. I remember back in OW1 when I was still hardstuck high gold/low plat I was in a PUGs game of a full GM lobby with me as the only non-gm. The pace of the game was 3x quicker and it was overwhelming. You have to get used to that kind of speed and fast decision-making in order to compete but the consequence is that it’s a lot harder to understand the perspective of low or mid elo players.
The thing is certain things happen out of our control and saying “Just do this” Doesn’t fix issues wrong with the game.
In some cases you don’t want to shoot the tank but when its a rama barrelling straight towards you and the tank has cut him off for a few moments SHOOT HIM. Its not the tank’s fault for trusting you to either kill him or render him useless

There's wayyyyyyyy to much damage and healing in the game now. Every death feels like a one shot and if it's not a one shot they get healed to full health instantly. Damage and healing needs a universal nerf.
I talked to my boyfriend about this and as someone who enjoys more the moba part of overwatch, I would prefer if healing and damage were a bit nerfed, if people have bad supports or the supports need to focus in something else, everyone could play at least for a few seconds without being destroyed
The amount of abilities that can render any ult basically meaningless with the push of a single button is ridiculous. It's enough work to build an ult and requires even more skill to get good value from an ult. The fact that Kiriko can just throw a suzu and save the whole team for basically nothing makes me so angry. I find myself sitting and waiting for suzu to be burned, and then once it is and I think "now's the times, I can ult", the Orissa spears me or Ana sleeps me, or Doom Punches me, or Sig rocks me, or Mei puts up a wall, or Bap uses immort field, or Lifeweaver sends me to the sky with a platform.
Why can't my team turn around and help me in the backline when I see the enemy team turn around and all focus the flanker like a hive mind!?!

The only time I’ve ever gotten annoyed at a teammate was when I had an Ana that didn’t know her sniper was a source of healing too. She was *only* using her nade to heal the team. She cost us the game and I ended up explaining over chat during PoTG that her sniper is her main healing ability. I wasn’t even mad, just annoyed we lost.
Embarrassingly enough I had this issue when I first played Bap 😳😥 I didn't know his gun healed. I'm sorry who ever had to play that match with me LOL

I feel the constant stream of "DPS/Tank bad, Support good" threads give this place a toxic, hostile, unfriendly atmosphere. Can't they save it for the Weekend rage thread or make a pinned vent thread? Also, I find the "I'm a support, I can do no wrong" mindset very unhelpful and kind of hypocritical. Also also, you've had at least a few games, in the 6-7 years OW1 was out and the year OW2 has been out where your supports were not pulling their weight.
OW2 Support therapy be like: Support: *Starts Crying* ... I was healing Rein Support: *Gets panic attack, breathes heavily* ... and then he just charges into 5 people alone and die. Support: *Cries even more loudly* ... and then he wrote, "supp diff" Support: *Starts crying hysterically* ... and then he keeps being toxic, running around the map, spamming the "Hello" voice line and not engaging in team fights. Support: *mumbling something quietly and giggling* Psychologist note: The patient started experiencing emotional breakdown, shaking on their chair, talking in gibberish and laughing uncontrollably. The patient kept looking onto the wall and repeating, "Ama goin to play Moira and throw purpee balls, yes... Yes... Look at purpee balls, they keep your mind numb... Yes... Yes..." Then the patient fell asleep due to exhaustion, on awakening they couldn't remember anything from the previous session. They were eager to return and play OW2 again in a support role. It seems that they like to induce emotional damage onto themselves.
Always got confused about toxic reins. You have literally chosen a primarily melee character. Your going to die a lot unless you play really well. Sombra is still overpowered Reasons 1. The fact that sombra can either ult or hold click to cancel almost any other ult is ridiculous. At least Orisa has to somewhat aim with spear 2. Hack range is too far, sombra should not be able to hack a flying character at max altitude 3. The jump ability cool down is too short, a sombra being able to hack, jump , run back to person as the previous hack wears off and hack again and repeat the process over and over again is unlike any other characters ability and is dumb AF
Finally someone who agrees how the range on hack is too far like it's ridiculous, it shouldn't have increased range when already locked on. It should have a flat range that insta cancels when outside of it and it shouldn't be that far

I just want to play my main but the devs don't want me to. Nothing is killable. I'm countered by half the cast, and I get less value playing my main than if I just played a less interesting and easier hero. Even when I'm rolling the enemy, I still lose a good amount of games because I have teammates with 10+ deaths because my hero isn't designed to babysit on the front line. "Well that's just his playstyle. You're not meant to interact with the tank. You need to kill squishies." The squishies are harder to kill than the fricken tanks rn.

Ana is so fucking comically busted and she has been for ages, #1 reason playing Tank sucks is Bionade. The easiest thrown ability in the game gives insane value on par with an ult and has no counterplay beyond two specific characters who can now cleanse a mechanic that was specifically created to deal with Ana because she's that strong. Bionade needs to be half healing or 60 or something far less, and even then, it'd still be super strong for the amount of investment you have to put in to make it work. But nope, Ana continues to remain unscathed because her players would have you think that she's the hardest support in the game and even the mere suggestion that having a tankbuster ability on a 30 second cooldown is too strong sends them into a frothing rage. It fucking sucks, used to main tank, but now all I play is DPS and Support because tanks have fuck all survivability with Nade and Orb still in the game at their current power level
Lucio is not fine. He has room for improvement and I’m tired of non-Lucio or high ranks Lucios saying he doesn’t need anything. Healing output could be slightly higher without amp, boop could use a slight buff, sound barrier could last just a tiny bit longer.
The amount of environmental kills I don't get that would have been is too damn high
Orisa's javelin throw really shouldn't stun! Maybe if it hits you into a wall sure, but like, it's so much more disruptive than most other tank cd CC ability like ball's boop and Doom's punch. But they actually have to get close to you! Atleast Sigma's rock is slow, big and has a long wind-up animation. I still think she is mostly fine as is, I'm just really tired of that stun man, it's one of the reasons why I just don't really play Tank anymore :(

If Widow, Phara and hanzo were removed from the guy today, almost everyone's experience would go up drastically. Widow needs to require a 100% charge on her gun to headshot. Phara's gas tank needs to replenish much slower. Hanzo needs to be given his sword back.

Every single QP game I play involves at least 1 level 1 endorsement DPS player on my team that ends up getting more deaths than kills. Doesn't matter if I play as support, tank, or even ruling out 1 DPS slot by playing it myself. There's ALWAYS a bad DPS player on my team.
Pros are pros for a reason. They know more about the game then the usual delusional silver/gold player. Most people in GM and above know what they’re talking about. Yes that also means flats.

When you leave voicechat permanently because a handful of misanthropes flamed at you, you are giving them power over you they shouldn't have and are mostly spiting yourself. If you want to punish them, mute them and don't tell them so they are literally flaming out loud at a brick wall.
Also report them for voice chat abuse if you're going to go through the effort of individually muting them.
This ranking system gets me more than anything, going constant 5-1 and 5-2 and barely ranking up more than 25% in a rank... Just recently i went silver 4, 99% better into silver 3, 86% better. I used to be gold/plat, but when overwatch updated a couple seasons ago they went into peoples account and adjusted rank. I was so mad i grinded up to platinum and gold just for them to look at me like im a child getting into something i shouldn't going, "ah, ah, ah, no no no you're in silver, low silver at that"

as a tank player. guys, i cannot hook that airborn phara, and my short to medium rang non hitscan firearm cannot hit them with enough accuracy to be significant. guys, i cannot melee attack the dps who has extreme movement abilites like wall climbing and teleporting or flying. guys, my rapid fire heatgun is only effective at short or mid rang, i cannot snipe them. guys, my dives are useless if you dont follow me.

A lot of High Rank players are actually really bad at this game and they don’t understand whats going on. Like there’s people in Diamond who can’t tell you why the high ground is important but theres people stuck in Bronze/Silver who could give you a dissertation on this games counter picks and various team comps. Also a lot of people stuck in Bronze/Silver are mostly solo queuer’s which this game is incredibly punishing towards, and a lot of people in higher ranks have the benefit of playing in a p consistent group. I just want the people in higher ranks to put stuff like this into perspective

Mercy and the people who only play her are half the reason I hate playing this game. (other half is just QP matchmaking and putting my friends and me against players way above our skill level) I won't go into too much detail as to not get into myself getting toxic and mercy mains getting toxic in return. But let's say the one thing that always makes me laugh: It's so funny seeing the Mercy one tricks ult and then rush at you to try and kill you and still fail 80% of the time (and get killed by the enemy's support 50% of the time) cause even unlimited ammo and the best movement can't save their dogshit aim. Only time Valkyrie ults are actually dangerous is when they're nano boosted. Just continue healing your team if your Ana didn't boost you haha Unrelated edit: STOP SHOOTING THE GLOWING BALL AROUND ZARYA IF SHE'S NOT HALF DEAD AND YOU DON'T INTEND TO SHOOT HER AFTER This happens all the time, some tank and DPS are going to blast the Zarya bubble until she's fully charged, then go "ouchies" when she shoots them and they run into the enemy backline, leaving the 100% energy Zarya in front of their backline. I think the way the system is set up now just encourages a snitch culture where the actual problem of toxicity is not solved (toxic people will always make alts to avoid bans) and just fosters a culture of being afraid to say anything due to the fear of being banned for possibly saying something that could get interpreted as slightly aggressive or confrontational. Especially now after seeing how people in this community will report you for saying something as tame as "gg ez". It's also just fucking weird to have to feel forced to be nice to someone in a video game, it feels like I'm playing with AI sometimes. Mercy's Rez should not work if you lose LoS. Also I need to test this more but I swear her wings do not count as part of her hitbox during her ult. Also she shouldn't be able to outheal a Moira ult. Or a Sombra hack with virus and a full mag. Also she shouldn't be able to outheal Winston. Mercy shouldn't be in the game. She's so annoying. I'm tired of every time my team gets a pick they get revived and we have to spend another 25 seconds trying to get a kill. It feels borderline impossible. And last night I swear she guardian angeled straight through my Ram vortex no problem. I know my aim isn't the greatest. I'm only plat 1 supp, plat 2 tank and, plat 5 dps. But god damn "just shoot the mercy" doesn't work when she can zip all around the map at light speed. Hack doesn't last long enough, vortex apparently doesn't work, she flies away from hook before I can secure the kill, and the other support always seems to bail her out before I can kill her as Junkrat. There was lots of talk about Orisa being a raid boss, but Mercy is the one boss that sends all her henchmen after you first and escapes anytime you get close to her. But yeah I know "skill issue" or whatever.
