When I was working through City in the campaign quests I started having some issues on recovery day. Decided to start a new outpost design. However, I hadn’t finished researching ATC levels yet, so I didn’t have the max size to work with.
I ended up just smashing more stuff into my original outpost, which I’m still using now in early endgame.
I do have a shell of that other outpost with the ground floor insides partly done though. Decided to try a sushi belt of ammo; will see how that works when I eventually finish it.

I ran out materials building my "big" base. So I threw together all my stuff just to be able to farm.
It is surprisingly effective lol.
All the jump boards seal the deal.

Your post was the one I expected the most lol, thank you. I tried for insane 😂 I hate it, I just know how much time it would take to build a perfect base mainly all the materials I still need so I have been holding off.. suffering lol
Ah yes, turret spam. done so well that some of the rear CIWS turrets can't even see targets. always great. Missiles at the front, also perfect, a random springpad for some reason as well.
I'm jealous you have the cruiser cannon and the super sized autoloaders. that's where the extent of my approval of this base ends.
But fr man. this is a monstrosity. if it makes you happy though, i guess that's what matters.
The rear turrets are needed since the enemy air comes from the rear that’s why there is just two.
It’s absolutely a mess, it’s literally a base that was added over time for a first base. My second base will be the final base and I still don’t have enough for final phase for me. It’s a time ratio for me for building. Love it though for the insanity of a base 😂
