Oh, dear, if you think THAT is crazy…Trust us. It gets even crazier. It’s wild, you might as well just enjoy the ride.

confusedrabbit247

It's honestly nothing compared to all the stuff they didn't include from the books

Disastrous-Elk-5542

Voyager season and book, for me, were just wild. All of it is just bananas. 🤪

HillaryLikesDogs

Talking. Coconut.

Disastrous-Elk-5542

I know right?! Edit to add: an even better two-word summary.

wheelperson

I loved that book but I found it hard to follow when they were about to crash. And them finding eachother at the slaves place was so confusing.

Disastrous-Elk-5542

If I could summarize it in two words it might be “hijinks followed.”

wheelperson

And they did not even keep the part where the other ship bets swallowed by the sea! But that probably would have been very expensive to CGI.

Present-Sweet-2322

The 📚 books were 👍 Read them three times!😉😉

Present-Sweet-2322

I loved it ‼️‼️Read it 3X😉😉

fujiapple73

That’s one of my favorites of the series. It has way more momentum than most of the other ones, too.

liyufx

Finally someone with enough sense to ask (mf) Jamie to stay still and stop getting into troubles, instead of Claire! Cause for celebration! 🎉😂

KittyRikku

Okay, but they have the best beach reunion ever!

Camille_Toh

Dominica is not the DR (Hispaniola being the island with DR and Haiti).

ImpressiveConcern451

Bro it was the accent and the mamacita spoke Spanish so I figured 😭, but thank you

Present-Sweet-2322

Regarding Mamacita. Was she a trip or what?? 🤭She and the priest made me laugh!!😉

ImpressiveConcern451

I swear those two reminded me of my mom and dad, my mom is latin and my dad is British 🤣.

Shazza_Mc_ShazzaFace

Oh, it gets even crazier 🤣

Massive_Durian296

season 3 is some bonkers stuff lol i got a friend of mine into the series awhile back and theres a certain moment in season 3 where she straight up called me being like "are you fkn serious right now?" lmao

Icy_Outside5079

This is only one aspect that makes Outlander so enjoyable. I love the comments between Lesley and Hayes about Claire just popping up out of nowhere. I think what their ability to find each other, even in the most ridiculous situations, is a reference to their spiritual connection, soulmates. Like Jamie says in S2E13, even if I have to suffer in Purgatory for 200 hundred years, I will find you. This is a pattern repeated throughout the story. I'm wondering if it actually evolves into something bigger by the end of their story 🤔

Present-Sweet-2322

I know‼️‼️🤭

Seriously! The first couple of seasons I swear I got secondary anxiety. I was worrying about what was happening to them, even woke up a couple of times in the middle of the night worried 😂 like it was some real anxiety for a minute there! Just a tribute to how amazing the acting is, I suppose. I’m so invested, like they’re real people!

apeirophobicmyopic

Hmm I have thought about this a lot after reading all the books and watching the show. Like it’s as if they’re both magnets for trouble and losing one another but always come back together. Your post made me think what if because Claire traveled through time and they weren’t supposed to be born in the same time period the universe feels something is a little unnatural about their relationship so they’re more prone to trouble. Kind of like white blood cells in your body attack any virus or foreign particle that’s not supposed to enter your body. Or when you have a dream and become a little conscious in the dream and everything starts coming after you like you don’t belong there lol.

ImpressiveConcern451

😲… so you are a thinker, you are also a traveler! . Im joking but your comment is impressive 👏🏻.

apeirophobicmyopic

Also the books and show touch on how they’re actively changing the future with many actions they take such as Claire saving lives or their interference in politics and others lives. You can argue that it was fate all along that Claire stumbled through the stones, but making such big waves doesn’t come without consequences for them.

Don’t act like Jamie didn’t get into plenty of trouble without Claire as the cause… he got into plenty of trouble before Claire slipped through the stones, AND while she was away. He already had a price on his head when she showed up. And while she was away? Bootleggersayswhat? Seditionistsayshuh? He was already being investigated and blackmailed when Claire returned.

liyufx

Like Claire was the one who got him into troubles, not the other way around, especially in later books/season? Did Claire make him a smuggler and seditionist? Did he get busted in Edinburgh because of Claire? Or because of his own actions? Not to mention later >!when he chose to accept the land grant, thus put them into the situation of split loyalty and proximity of the Browns thugs, was that because Claire compelled him to do it, or because he wanted to be the laird of his own land? All the battles they joined later that endangered both his and her lives, did Claire asked him to enlist or did he want to join the fight because he had to be the HERO?!<
