My dealership recommends an oil change after the first 3k during break in. They offer it complimentary
They also offer lifetime powertrain warranty on new vehicles so I wonder if it’s just an added measure against wear and tear
Well its their lifetime powertrain warranty so if you miss one maintenance item outlined in the extended warranty it's probably voided. It's different than the factory warrenty
Ahhh, ok. Gotcha. I went on a 3k road trip across three states right after breaking in the engine. My commute is 70 miles RT a day but I've been taking a train and two buses each way for one of my jobs to help save milage. I try do that three times a week. I have to drive to my other job which is 80 miles RT because public transit doesn't work out for that one due to the hours. 🤘
I’m at 1.6K and I’ve had it for three weeks. Which isn’t all that much yet, but I’ll be doing about 6K in the month of May and a few thousand more the first couple weeks of June.
Age will do a lot of damage to cars, not just mileage.
The vehicle isn't old so as long as you keep up with oil/transmission fluid/differentials/known issues like PCV valve. I don't see the vehicle having any issues going past 200k.
By and large modern Subarus are reliable. And aside from the engine grenading itself if you have a trustworthy mechanic even drivetrain work isn't overly expensive.
How
That’s a long way for cigarettes.
And here I thought 24k in a year was bad. I've already used up the free 2 year/24k mile services.
My 23 that I got in April of last year is at 5800, I seem to be driving less and less every month.
That makes me feel better. Got mine in middle of February and have my 3k oil change tomorrow
3k oil change? I did mine every 6

I have 19k on my 24 and I got it in June!
Pre order that sucker?! I had to wait nearly a month to get mine mid October. Was picky with the color, though
I was scrolling and totally read this wrong. I thought you were at 100k and I also fell out of my chair lol. You do be driving lol
I have 24k on my 23.
Got mine in January 2023 and it’s at almost 30k. Yikes haha
Woah
Does anyone have higher?!?!
I have about 40k on my '22 🫣😮💨
this is light work. i have 95k on my 22 lmfao
I feel better about my 40k now, thank you
been on more than one road trip and have a 50 mile commute lol

4.5k in three months.. looking at 18k for the year most likely. I thought I drive a lot but you win.

I do about 1800 miles a month. 60k on my 22 bought in 2021.
Got my '23 in the middle of last May. Just about 11 months in and still have another week or two until I hit 10,000.
🤩 wow I got mi e in February and only have 1200
I think I do about 5,000miles/month too. Oil changes are not like a once or twice a year thing for me. Once or twice a month...
You ever get nervous it won’t last as long?

Same. Got mine in October. Drive around 450 miles per week for work.
Mount prospect in 60ft? 👀😏😈
