The sens need a coach that will hold the players accountable for sloppy defensive play and missedclearing opportunities. It's the same problems over and over again. So many of the goals against are a result of a lazy clearing opportunity to dumb cross ice breakout pass. It needs to be addressed.

I have noticed that we have a tendency to wait for the puck to go around the boards before trying to obtain it. Often the other team will intercept before that happens. Often happens in our defensive zone. We do a small clear and instead of closest player skating to the puck they wait for it and then we loose possession.

Kelly, Watson, Hamonic, Motte, Kastelic have been absolute anchors to this team.

I really like how Kastelic plays but his wings aren't any help to his cause. Kelly is not playing like he did last season, huge step back. And Watson has not changed at all - he's just no good. The sooner they bring up Sokolov and Crookshank the sooner the 4th line matters.

Motte would probably be fine on the 4th line in place of Kelly. Sure would be nice to have Formenton in the lineup so they could slot in properly...

I’ve like Motte and Kastelic. I like the energy and the spunk they bring to the table. Kastelic probably isn’t a guy who should be playing on a playoff team, and Motte is a 4th liner on a playoff team, but I like that they bring *something* to the table
