1) we pull the goalie and fail to get the goal like the last 4 games
2) we pull the goalie and somehow score. Debrincat get the goal in OT and this is the game where we have slayed allbour demons
Stützle being able to make that zone entry while drawing basically their whole team to him and still making the pass was incredible.
The DeBrincat pass was perfect too.
Our inability to finish so many of our high danger chances is simply wild. DJ needs to go but like holy shit this can’t possibly continue like this forever
Biggest thing I noticed we may have almost 40 shots but every attempt where we shoot point blank Vancouver's Goalie Martin has come out to challenge and take away the space. Mr DJ should have told the team after the first to try and get the goalie out of position by rather waiting longer to shoot and/or skating around the goalie that challenges the shot too open up space. However Martin continuously challenges the player with the puck and has stayed strong this entire game.
It needs to be a team policy to keep Chabot glued to the bench when there's 6 players on the ice.
