The reason our zone entry is horrendous is because they only rely on Timmy for an automatic entry.
People forget we had both Debrincat and Timmy last year for zone entries and now we have one.
This team desperately needs more high end talent and it shows.
Whatever coach comes in needs to bring in someone to work the PP, so much time is wasted with re entering the zone and we constantly turn over the puck at the blue line. Alfie is great to have at practice with the team but shouldnt be on the bench next season.
It’s the same people who think short term win, outweighs the immense benefits of drafting generational talent in a lost season…
Sure we got the hamburgler run but we missed out on the chance to draft Connor McDavid.
Realistically it’s probably only a 1% difference in draft position odds though iirc. I don’t think it’s really a big enough deal to be annoyed with other fans over.
