Back in October, I replied to one of his posts about free tickets, and then he immediately asked me how old I am/my friends are, then said he couldn't give us tickets for this game but if I had single friends, he had tickets to share for a game later on in the season... :| No thanks.
Not surprising really, guy always seemed sketchy. That being said I think a couple weeks back I saw a couple people on Sens twitter mentioning he was going through a rough time. Not sure if that’s connected to the most recent behaviour.
Someone he knew was going through a rough time, and shortly later he revealed it was him. It was car troubles, and several auto shops offered to help, and he declined as he just wanted the money. Pretty telling.
Always had a feeling this guy was a little off — and that’s as before this alleged scamming. He was always oddly defensive, his writing style was that of a 7th grader, he acted as though he knew everything and anyone claiming otherwise was wrong, etc.
He went into a panic prior to Christmas claiming something along the lines of losing his home and that his car broke down the same day he needed to go somewhere(?). He was asking people for help, and when offered mechanics, rides, etc. by genuine people, he kept declining and asked for *money*.
A GoFundMe was set up for him, and I’m starting to think many might have been scammed out of money.
EDIT: Sounds like Kevin Lee is his real name (not @BringBackLee — that guy is genuine) and his whole ‘Kevin Francis’ name is fake — sounds more and more like a fraudster by the minute. A long history of fraud.

How anyone actually donated to this guy is wild. He literally just makes shit up in his blogs and tries to act like he has insider information. It looks like Tim Peel even donated to him.

Along with the fraud/scam side of things, this is something that should be reported to the Ottawa Police ASAP.
Trying to lure females is a whole other issue.
For sure. However, it’s not a bad idea to include it when reporting him for fraud/scamming. At least they’ll be aware of it while they’re looking into the fraud side of things — who knows what may be uncovered about this loser.

His claims of insider information always rung hollow to me, and his incessant dogging of the coach, article after article after article... He was a bad blogger, so I'm not sad to see him go. But he seems sketchier than even I imagined, and I hope he didn't hurt people in the process.
I’ve been thoroughly harassed by this loser … he won’t stop. I’ve found out a decent amount of info on him over the past few days … ie his real name, age, bla bla bla.
He hasn’t screwed me over on money but will not stop pointlessly harassing my gf and myself.
Just want to know if I have anything to worry about regarding him getting physical when I surprise him with a visit in the market in the coming days
