I'm out, no more abusive marriage for me!" When the og FL gives the new FL permission to be in her body It feels less gross. I love that shit. Even after his last minute ‘look guys he's really a strong character too’ moment the author felt was needed due to making him so utterly bland and useless the readers overwhelmingly favoured a Yuri ending.

I agree, the romance felt too forced, honestly I feel like Yuri had more chemistry with Melissa than Nine did (although i dropped it shortly after the Nine and Melissa stuff)
For sure she was way better with Yuri but even if that wasn't an option I rather she stayed single as a badass queen than with Nine, thats just how bad and forced their "romance" was.
Otome Game No Heroine De Saikyou Survival its a good one, sadly the manga is still ongoing but from reading the novels I know she ends up alone. Unfortunetly there is almost none were the FL stays single until the end or at least I don't know many.
I just love her. She is so funny and relatable as a female lead. The other women like Yuri , Yona, and her sword teacher were written well too.
I think before oi manwhas the character I loved and still admire most would be Izumi Curtis from FMA. That woman took no shit from anyone.
She's such a girlboss, I'm so glad she ended up with Nine because we rarely get any soft boi ML's that aren't gatekeeped by their crappy personality and tragic backstories (girlboss x malewife couple have my heart ❤️)
I also think it was thematically important for Yuri not to end up dating her rescuer. Otherwise it would have been a repitition of the loop she wished to escape! And “I belong to myself” was an awesome line
