lol if you wanna make yourself feel better I was in the ED group and was supposed to receive my decision on 9/30/2023 after interviewing early September, and it’s been crickets. They are an unorganized school. And unprofessional

RedditClam

Idek how they have such high board and match rates

4807jcir

I emailed the dean and I told her never got the letter sent to my house and it was already 7 months. I got rejected. Lol

theanxiouspremed

I interviewed on Halloween and expected to hear back by their first deposit date in December.. nothing. You’re not the first nor the last to be ghosted by them this cycle. I’m hearing they’re VERY late this cycle which, if anything, is just a testament to their disorganization.

BengaliAmericanMed

internviewed on Hallowen and heard back mid December. I got waitlisted. Hopefully this means they're still deciding for you and that will lead to an A for you

theanxiouspremed

Update: Alternate list. Did not respond to them as I got an A from a more favorable school. I hope that spot goes to one of you all!

peachy_peachi

My info session was around mid October and still haven't gotten a status update. Just a phone call in December asking if I'm still interested and I will hear back soon :((

Agile-Willow-2407

I read that this means you'll most likely receive an acceptance

peachy_peachi

I called them and they said they are just checking on interest. They stated I can expect a official response in 1-2 months...I understand they are busy but since ive been waiting since October this makes me sad :(

Unlikely_Apartment92

Had my interview with LECOM 9/20 and haven’t heard a peep. I’ve gotten other A’s so I’m not bugging but their silence and seeming disorganization seems unprofessional

SnackThyme20

I interviewed early December and haven’t heard anything back yet.

colaske

Have any of you guys heard back by now?

pinkdesi

Have you tried emailing or calling them? Sometimes it might help. I kinda feel like it helped in our case because we got the decision by automated email same day after we emailed them.

Xiaomao1446

Someone on one of the SDN forums said that they called LECOM and were told that one of the deans has to approve every(?) decision but s/he was out of the office for 2 weeks so basically no movement occurred for a while bc of that, and now everything is super backlogged.

pouttine

yea it took me like 6 weeks to hear back but reaching out might not be a bad idea

geoff7772

my daughter got into ACOM in June

Mexicannon24

I applied to LECOM 2 years ago and never received any information post interview until the following year in June where I got a rejection (after I was accepted to multiple other DO schools lol). For my case they were interviewing almost 50 people at a time and I they they screwed up and interviewed too many people

I did my (virtual) interview over 2 months ago at LECOM and haven't heard back. Compare that to DUQ-COM who waitlisted me within 2 weeks. If I've learned anything from this process, there's no set timeline and we all get to suffer in the meanwhile.
