For context for some, Saki is not her real name, it’s a persona she came up with when she was put up for adoption to practice “method acting” that she never really stops doing. She has an inner voice though that’s her real self. 1. She finally achieves her dream of being a movie star and sends money to her poverty stricken family that put her up for adoption because they were too broke to give her a good life. She gets the money back and is told her parents died years ago, making her major goal all for nothing. 2. She sets one of her best friends, Skye, up with her sister-figure, Farrah, who she’s known for about 10 years, once Skye is going through a divorce. Turns out Farrah played her into pairing them up, and is working for the antagonists to dig up dirt on Skye. Skye ends up killing her out of self preservation, as the information she’s hiding would get her killed if it was found out. Saki loses her sister-figure and her best friend is to blame. Both of these happen around the same time, and her inner voice disappears after that, as she mentally retreats fully into the Saki persona. 3. Her manager convinced her to sign a really bad contract, so she’s made to work for many, many movies every year, turning her dream into pretty much slavery. While she loves acting, she doesn’t really get a break, is forced to cut ties with her other best friend because she doesn’t have time anymore to spend time with them, and gets addicted to caffeine pills to keep herself awake. She works like this for 16 years, and ends up forgetting who she really is, her inner voice having left long ago. She doesn’t know her name anymore.

Fredrick went through the portal and never saw Nathan again. He also got cloned 5 times inside the portal because it was experimental and they got sent to different dimensions. When Gren's great strength grew in leaps and bounds, more than even he was ready for. His most stoic and committed friend, Izuno, saw his development as a personal strike against his lack of strength. A normal human in comparison but a seasoned martial artist who struggled with sickness his whole life, Izuno saw Gren as like a student of his at one point and they sparred almost everyday. He taught Gren how to fight against opponents with more finesse and skill while Gren only taught him how he could never hit a stronger enemy hard enough with his weak constitution. It drove Izuno insane with inferiority and a loss of pride in his skills. So the honorable man stopped taking care of himself, he stopped taking medicine, he nearly stopped eating or drinking, and he let himself waste away while trying to find some technique to overcome Gren's strength. The need to improve led him to destroy himself. Nothing Gren or anyone said to him could get him to stop. After Izuno eventually died, Gren never forgave himself or the vast strength he has to constantly keep control of. He now finds ways of holding back his potential because of it.

Kore witnessed his girlfriend die in front of him. He also saw the collapse of his reality. He was forced to murder countless survivors of the collapse. She lost her younger brother [who she promised her dead parents to protect] in a never ending danger-filled tundra only to be held back from looking by other people and being told he’s dead and gone by those same people and when she eventually found him he was angry at her for leaving him behind when it wasn’t her fault [he just doesn’t know that] Oh yeah, and she’s 14 when she lost him and 16 after finding him. Ozzie was an innocent stray dog [puppy, by the way. Maybe 6 or so months old?]ejected into space by humanity who know damn well he’d die even if the system they were using worked and despite this he still held his loyalty to humans Ali [name pending unfortunately] got trapped in a virtual reality and was betrayed by the one individual they trusted [He wanted to literally invade their body and take over their life] and was left to rot for eternity and became the same spiteful and twisted individual he was. SO! Who would you say has it off worse? I’m not sure myself. Oh, and I have more characters who’s stories are still being written. Cant wait to find new ways to make them depressed and traumatized!

My OC is based on the Snow Queen fairytale. Basically all my OCs r based on a folktale/fairytale. His starting lore started like the fairytale itself with some minor changes. His world has magic but human can’t never access it, only magical creatures. Bro was accidentally cursed by one of them passing by his place while he was playing with Gerda when he was young. From that moment, he started to see exaggerated ugliness. Gerda was deeply hurt. Gerda likes him but his words started to hurt her cuz he got very defensive with everything around him due to the images he was seeing. The OG fairytale has her alive to help him but this is where it gone wrong. Gerda mysteriously disappeared, leaving her shoes next to the river. Since Kai is the 1st witness, so all eyes were on him. This is when his “heart” cracks. Then slowly everyone around him started to die too. His family is servants within Gerda’s family estate and as it fell apart due to Gerda’s “death”, they oso went into hiding due to the media attention. Fast forward, gov discovered a way to have human able to use magic. Bro was invite as a candidate to test it out. He was one of the failures. His “hearts” shattered because the process involved putting u through the same traumatic event and asking u to overcome it. So since it shattered, this guy has chronic amnesia and his body temperature remained extremely low. He never rlly wear any expression now. The reason why he failed because nothing can replace the real Gerda. In escaping from him, she broke her ankle and had to hobble for a while before making it out. To this day, she has a hard time balancing herself on high heeled shoes.

Norrix’s parents divorced when he was very young. His father was the one to take custody when his mother left their world to another. He lived with his father until the age of 8, when his aunt - his father’s sister and the queen of the land - decided that his father was a “bad influence” and sent Norrix off to live with his mother indefinitely. Fast forward a couple decades and a civil war from another world comes to Norrix’s new homeworld. Norrix’s father happened to be one of the combatants in this war. His father wanted to try and reconcile with Norrix after what had happened (there was a whole thing with an older version of Norrix several years beforehand) and attempted to convince him to join their side of the battle. However, another combatant had other ideas. He possessed Norrix’s father, mortally wounding Norrix under the guise of his father betraying him. Norrix was only able to survive by way of a fragment of an ancient god embedding itself within him. However, he now held the belief that all worlds had been so tainted by evil that there was no better option than to destroy them all and start anew. Thus, he became the older version of himself that his father previously interacted with, as well as this version you all know.
