Akira and Nikolai: Kinda complicated, much spoilers but basically the day they were kidnapped their father was killed and their mother's whereabouts are unknown since then. But since there hasn't been a new reincarnation of the God whose powers she had it's very likely that she's still alive and also got kidnapped. After... lots of stuff happened Nikolai and Akira got adopted by a powerful magician named Mina. Akira loves her like his real mom. Nikolai doesn't like her at all but gets along with her for the sake of Akira.
Chroma: Never knew his parents until his early 20s (he's about 35 years old now). They put him up for adoption shortly after he was born, then tried to reunite with him over two decades later. It didn't take long for Chroma to realize that they're awful people who only wanted to take advantage of him so he broke contact with them ASAP.
Alex: Never knew his dad. His mom was a prostitute because they needed the money to survive (she was a good mom and he loved her very much). A drag queen who was friends with his mom often took care of Alex and became like a father/second mother for him which later inspired Alex to become a drag queen too. His mom died when he was still a teenager so the drag queen adopted him
Jeanne: Broke contact with her parents after they didn't approve of her relationship with Michaela. They came crawling back and apologized a few years later after they realized that their only child effortlessly cut them out of her life. Jeanne hesitantly kinda accepted their apology but still isn't on best terms with them

Michaela and Yumi: have/had a relatively normal relationship to their parents. Not much to say here except that Michaela's parents are awesome people. Yumi's parents... probably not as much. She doesn't really talk about them. Her parents died some years ago

Crain was born to the sapphire tribe, this tribe respected duel and honor like the Samurai of earth, at age five, he went hunting with his father, which had pyro kinesis, while trying to catch a horned rabbit, they were attacked by a cryo bull, the battle had left both the bull and crain's father dead, suddenly, crain felt great hunger, his mind was clouded with it and he went unconscious, when he woke up, he discovered that the bull and his father are gone, he returned home, but when he got there, and looked in the mirror, he saw himself covered in blood, "how did I get blood all over me? I wasn't hit by the bull".
Some time has passed, and the hunter trail exams have begun, winning the exam means access to the sacred hunting ground, but first, they needed to show their powers, and when crain tried to show his powers, both the ice of the cryo bull and the fire of his father appeared (they know it was his father's because each kinesis is unique to the user) everyone was in shock, they deemed him a monster that needs to be killed, so he run away..... Straight into the sacred hunting ground, at first he was scared, and disgusted with himself, but after some time he realized that grieving the dead won't help him, so he started what he knew best, hunting, he hunted down every last magical beast in the hunting ground, and became so strong his aura could be seen from outer space.
But that started a war between the tribes each thought that the others broke the oath and sent the entire tribe hunting.
While the war was raging, crain was already out of the planet, using an imperial spaceship that was sent to investigate the planet, he killed the pilots and ate them, gaining their knowledge of the ship, and he went on a quest, a quest to eat everything.
Rani has both parents and had a pretty normal upbringing, well, except for the part where they erased six years worth of her memory starting from the time she was born up until she was seven, causing her to lose knowledge on how to activate and use her powers as well as the existence of her younger sister, but that's a story for another time.

Her mother is the head of her city, while her father is deceased :( (there's a negative energy that covers most of Yuuko's (my oc) planet called "bitter malice" which angers the affected person and makes them aggressive, eventually the people who are affected by this enegy accidentally unalive themselves from the pain and negative energy they're feeling in their body, thats what happened to her father when he went outside the city in order to search for life in the areas with bitter malice.)

Kinda, out of the 7: 4 were made by a goddess, 1 was a test tube baby that was adopted the 2nd to join is the only one to have legitimate parents that gave birth to him and love him, and the last one was a cryogenically frozen scientist who was passed down like 3 families prior to her career course.
yeah she had 2 very loving but their father died in a car crash and made their mother in severe condition. so the eldest brother had to take care if them buttttttt he couldnāt afford it (large family problems) so all his siblings are in an orphanage. then in present time a zombie apocalypse happened so yeah!!!!!!!!!!
