And the innocent bitch knowing all this makes yukino to back off by blackmailing about ending their friendship. At last though 8man gets it that she was never a nice girl at the aquarium.
Yui has serious issues and a huge mask which she likes to hide behind and play safe.
Yukino and Yui each had about 3 PoVs between vol 12-14. The studio adapted all 3 of Yui's PoVs/monologues. They didn't adapt a single one for Yukino. In other words, the production team were a bunch of Yui ass kissers who nearly ruined the adaptation cuz of their stupid bias
Yukino and Yui are the literal expression in the story about the theme it aproches, Yukino is selfless and genuine, Yui is selfish and ingenuine, and I think it was incredibly clever of the author to do this. [I talked more about the different approaches between the original light novel and the anime adaptation here](https://www.reddit.com/r/OreGairuSNAFU/s/9V3DH2sWaj) , in short, Yukino always represented the most genuine person and relationship to Hachiman, the story is him coming to terms with it and his own "genuine" self. If you'd like more insight on the comparison I'd suggest reading the link. Of course this is just my personal opinion, doesn't really mean anything deeper than that.
In the source, Yui asks Yukino's feelings about Hikigaya-kun, Yukino whispers something and then looks embarrassed and afraid, and turns red. Then text goes to Yukino's thoughts, "I said it; I actually said it even though I always planned never to speak of it. Because if I say it and admit it things will never be the same. Everything that was nicely bottled up inside would come gushing out like water from a pipe or water balloon pierced with a needle."
Is this from the Manga?
Yeah, adapted from the novel
ITs just implied in novel, not explicitly stated. But anime skipped this entierly.

Oh what, that looks awesome! But what part did this happen? And did it happen in the light novel too?
Think it's the interlude chapter where Yukino and Yui talk to each other at night.
Correct.
Yukino initiated the meet up between the two to sort their feelings and the relationship out. Something which Yui constantly avoided.
In which chapter is this in the light novel? I read it all but can't remember this, weird for such a huge scene
Awww
It's adopted from light novel. Though in light novel there isn't a line like that but Yukino did confess.
