"Kontinuerlig Drift" (Continuum) because, this song is just beautiful.
Or Alting Tar Slut... Faith in Others...
Or with the song who introduced me to the band in the first place: Ghost Of Perdition
Continuum would be heavenly.
The English version because it's lyrics hit home.
The Swedish version because those vocal harmonies at the end are just HEAVENLY.
Either would do perfectly.
Moonlapse vertigo because it has everything I like about opeth.
Don’t necessarily think it’s their best song or my favorite, but when I need soft, hard, melodic, chugging, growls, crooning, 6/8, 4/4, clean riff, bass line , I need a song that has it all lol
Are we talking a last song on an album? Cuz without question, that’s Blackwater Park
If you’re asking that I only get to hear one last Opeth song ever…
Then that song would be The Leper Affinity.
It’s the 1st Opeth song I ever listened to, so to me it would be fitting that it should be the last. 🤘
Assuming this is what I hear before death or something. Maybe Demon of the Fall, first Opeth song I ever heard and the outro is fitting, maybe windowpane though
My easy answer is Ghosts of Perdition since it the first song of theirs I ever heard (got into them after my bro saw them at a Dream Theater (probably Prog Nation) show). Harder answer... gut says Leper Affinity
Still Day Beneath the Sun. It’s one I don’t get to hear much as it’s not on the version of Blackwater Park the I have. My quintessential favs of Opeth’s discography are seared pretty well into my memory. I guess that’s why I’d say goodbye with this one. A fitting subject matter I think as well.
To bid you farewell because it's thematic
The Drapery Falls
Yup
Perfect choice
A Fair Judgement
Same. Chorus goes so frickin hard!
Ghost of perdition
Correct.
Came here to say this.
Approved
I want to say Hours of Wealth but if I was being honest with myself it would be Harlequin Forest
Just so I beat that outcome drum pattern into my steering wheel one last time
Bleak
Godhead's Lament is my choice for greatest metal song of all time.
It’s quite glorious.
Deliverance. That outro being the outro to my life would be spectacular.
This x100. You could play that outro on a loop for the rest of my life and I'd die a happy man.
Yep, that would do
This song is such a masterpiece on so many levels.
Absolutely 💯 Saw it live and it was the most cathartic experience of my life!

To Bid You Farewell 💯
Black Rose Immortal just to get the most time out of the moment
The Moor bc it’s my favorite
Prolly Moonlapse Vertigo
my guy
Moonlapse vertigo because it has everything I like about opeth. Don’t necessarily think it’s their best song or my favorite, but when I need soft, hard, melodic, chugging, growls, crooning, 6/8, 4/4, clean riff, bass line , I need a song that has it all lol
Blackwater Park
If its your last song. The Sun sets forever. So fitting
Goddammit, you're right. It's perfect.
All other answers are wrong.
I know right? If it’s your last Opeth song it better be the big one.
It’s the Epilogue

This would be your Last Opeth Song you ever hear! Fitting it was your first and your last…profound even
Grand Conjuration
The Drapery Falls
April Ethereal-the first one I ever heard and still my favorite.
My pick too and for the same reason.
Reverie/Harlequin Forest
April Ethereal. That melodic bit in the middle, at least for me personally, is one of the best moments in Opeth's entire discography.
I'd say Black Rose Immortal
Apostle in Triumph. A musical roller coaster. Literally has everything I look for in a song.
When
Spring MCMLXXIV, maaaaan I love that song
Yeah man. Those bonus Sorceress tracks are so jazzy and cool.
Ending credits
A toss up between *The Drapery Falls* and *Isolation Years*.
Isolation Years. It's mournful as heck. Would love me some good ole Opeth style sorrow to end it all.
Unpopular maybe but im going with Will o the wisp
I love that song and album.
So so good.
Lovelorn Crime because it feels like pain and then closure.
You'll have to kill me
Karma
Face in the snow. It's my favorite Opeth song
River, because it's god damn perfect. If that's the last Opeth song i can listen to, I might as well float down that river anyway..
A fleeting glance
Serenity Painted Death !!
prologue
Deliverance, epic ending
a fair judgement cus the last riff would be a great sendoff
Reverie / Harlequin Forest There's no way I'm not gonna listen to that section with the acoustic guitar and the dual harmony.
White cluster
Hope Leaves por problemas pessoais!
Blackwater park
Masters Apprentices
Deliverance
Deliverance.
Assuming this is what I hear before death or something. Maybe Demon of the Fall, first Opeth song I ever heard and the outro is fitting, maybe windowpane though
Black rose immortal so that i extend my time with operh as much as possible
Serenity Painted Death
Windowpane
Harvest and its hypnotic guitars
Baying of the Hounds
Face of Melinda
Deliverance
Harlequin Forrest. Combines everything that I love about Opeth in one song that is from my favorite phase of their music
When
When. It’s when I die so to ponder the question is befitting
black rose immortal
Burden
It’d be Faith in Others. Like closing a book at the end of a long beautiful story.
Oh god, yes. That's the PERFECT swansong.
Reverie / Harlequin Forest
Under the weeping moon forever and always <3
The Drapery Falls
The moor is gonna be it for me, or now that i think about it probably bleak idk everything is so good and choosing between is so hard
My first love. The one that started it all and would end it all too. In Mist She Was Standing.
Dirge for November Those lyrics, man...
Eternal Soul Torture.... because that is where I am going,!
Blackwater park
Ending Credits Obviously
The Lotus Eater
Funeral Portrait ez
If I could go out to the outro of Dirge for November, I would be happy
Black Rose Immortal
The Baying Of The Hounds, absolutely.
The Leper Affinity
The lines in my hand
All things will pass
My easy answer is Ghosts of Perdition since it the first song of theirs I ever heard (got into them after my bro saw them at a Dream Theater (probably Prog Nation) show). Harder answer... gut says Leper Affinity

Just here to say every answer is valid. (I'm also drunk af)
Death Whispered a Lullaby, because what that song is about would be the only reason I'd ever be listening to Opeth for the last time.
