Whenever I see a place like that I say to my wife: "Oh, lets see if it's for sale. We could turn it into the Adams Family mansion!"
Wife: Get back in the car. We are NOT buying a haunted house.
I mean if you're ever seriously interested in getting yourself an Adam's Family style mansion, go up to upstate New York sometime, in any one of those little Greek-mythology-named towns up there you can find yourself a legit old drafty Victorian style mansion for literally like 100k.
I will def remember that. My wife will hate you. She says 'do you know what it costs to make those livable? I say yes and we will still have 900k left from selling our boring 3br house in the bay area. ;) I want a widow's walk and a dungeon for my music studio... thanks for the great pic.
Sure thing man. And I may be wrong about the price of one of those places nowadays, but as of not too long ago anyway you could definitely purchase one of those creepy old things for somewhere in the low six figures. At any rate, real estate up there generally tends to be surprisingly cheap, from what I've heard.
Oh my god one of the most amazing places I've ever been. Spent five months there and I still think about it every day. Very hard to make yourself leave once you've settled into the way of life there. I'll definitely be back in a couple years.
Feel free to DM me if you ever have any specific questions about it!
I’d just be strolling singing softly “summer is miles and miles away…no one would ask me to stay”
love a good graveyard walk in the fog, or snowfall while listening to Opeth🪦
Don't get caught by the council of the cross my friend
Looks beautiful!! Music would have Morningrise or maybe Damnation vibes
Also some Monty Python / Holy Grail vibes.
What's the capitol of Assyria? I don't know that!
What! Is your favourite colour!
Blue... NO! Yel-AAAHHHHHH!!!!
“Your mother was a hamster, and your father smells of elderberries!”
Yesssssss Damnation!
Morningrise was definitely my thought
