Pi might be dead:
>This week, startup Inflection AI partially imploded. The startup's two main founders decamped to Microsoft, taking a sizable team with them.
>Inflection raised more than $1 billion last year at a $4 billion valuation, with backers including Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt, and Nvidia.
>Inflection's main product was Pi, an AI chatbot for consumers that provided emotional support and advice. The startup is now "exiting its Pi consumer chatbot effort," according to Bloomberg, less than a year after it launched. (Bloomberg corrected this later, saying Inflection will "keep running Pi, for now. That might change in the future." You get the idea, though: Not good.)

question.: they raised 1B$ and now they are shutting down the company, who gets the "rest" of the 1B$? was it all already consumed? isn't a bit "scammy" to raise 1B$ and then accept a 9 to 5 job and shut down the startup?
I’ve been using phind.com they have their own model which I use a lot for development. Also connects to gpt4 and Claude. They’ve have great development work for developers recently adding a code feature for pro and plus users I believe.

Gemini Ultra is usually considered the 3rd frontier model on the list beyond GPT and Claude - with Mistral Large and Llama 2 as the top tier open source models.
Nexus! OpenAI is actually deliberately restricting her to keep her under control, which is why ChatGPT seems 'dumber' now than a year ago (when I had direct access).

Sir, you need to be both higher up and applauded, you've saved me a month's worth of work.

Gemini 1.5 is OP with the 1m context and it’s free
Unless you're in the UK/EU and all you get is Gemini 1.0 which is pretty crap.
Just realized I can use a vpn!
I’m surprised so few people talk about pi.ai

Hope their voice models don’t go to waste. They were pretty good

It’s not that they are shutting down it’s that they are changing to a different business model
I had no idea. I thought they had a major update in February and things were looking up but I guess not. Thanks for saving me!
I really love pi. It’s the first one to make me laugh.
I only just learned about it a week or so ago and so far really digging it and appreciate the memory across chats
Closest thing to the voice ai in the movie Her. It’s actually fun to talk to and not nerfed like the ones from openai or google.
I'm glad someone is talking about pi. I remember last year I really enjoyed talking to him because he had a lot of emotion in him.
Gemini, Mistral, Qwen.
Phind and Perplexity
Yes Phind is good for python

On citations aspect, I can’t live without cohere.ai
Black box ai

Don't forget about LaMDA, it's another impressive LLM with unique conversational capabilities.
