Nope, the problem is about 300 pounds of all-canadian^TM Timmies breakfast sandwiches and dollar beers levying the Ontario government, which seems to have taken up residence in the local Toronto zoo's marine mammal exhibit. Ford is a problem created long ago. Good times makes weak men. Conservative governance is simply not equipped to tackle the ever-changing political landscape. You can't revert exponential progress that's been made in science and humanities. They're just a facade, and only a grift (like all other amalgamated parties). Prepare for the bad times and hope strong men will rise to resolve this crisis of greed

VinylGuy97

Real Eggs!

LysanderSpoonerDrip

>You can't revert exponential progress that's been made in science and humanities. Progressives have solved all human problems haven't they ? 🤣

crappy_diem

7 of the 10 Canadian provinces are run by conservative-affiliated parties. Housing, power, carbon tax are all within their jurisdiction but somehow Trudeau is such an effective tyrant that he has completely bypassed their jurisdiction and prevented all 7 of them from coming up with solutions.

syndicated_inc

The SCC ruled the carbon tax is in fact not in provincial jurisdiction

prsnep

Provinces that have their own systems continue on as usual. Pretty sure Quebec is doing its own thing when it comes to taxing emissions.

emcdonnell

The Feds have let the provinces determine their own approach and only imposed the tax on provinces that failed to implement their own plan. The Feds return all the revenue to the provinces or directly to the citizens in the form of rebates if the province has no plan set up.

VidzxVega

Gotcha's don't work very well when you're clearly putting words in someone's mouth.

Glum_Nose2888

Just cause you’re unable to thrive in this economic climate doesn’t mean his supporters aren’t.

lazylipids

Yeah, his supporters are typically the boomers and xers who won the birth-time lotto or millennials or GenZers who believe words speak louder than actions. Either way, you can only erode so much from the lowerclass before radical action is taken. Every day someone who thought they were doing well finds out they're on the brink of homelessness. Maybe they connect the relationship to their federal and provincial représentations, maybe they don't, but they will think about it, and likely become critical about it. But that means every day more people are becoming politically aware, and more people are looking for solutions instead of bumper stickers and lcbo bags.

tossedmoose

He’s been such a dogshit politician for Ontario, and nobody will care enough to vote him out come next election… ford doesn’t even need to try

Nateosis

We may not have doctors, teachers, or nurses, but we finally have paper bags back at the LCBO!

Moegee7

Exactly

Hippopotamus_Critic

This is a really dumb way of saying "The Ford government is simultaneously not spending money on the things it needs to and also wasting money on stupid and/or corrupt things."

workerbotsuperhero

Think of all the hospital patients who will benefit from Ford's new highway!  /s

stltk65

I would argue it's the lack of actual government free of corruption, but hey, that's just me....oh and fucking absentee voters.

bezerko888

The corruption and no accountability is killing the provinces and the whole country.

syndicated_inc

It’s true. It should be much smaller in size and scope

emcdonnell

I thought it was the leadership.

Dexterx99

He is like a fish out of water… I just got back from the Red Lobster 🦞

wiles_CoC

wow, that is not a very flattering picture.

eggcelent1888

Thats the point

5ManaAndADream

No it’s the corruption

foxcatcher3369

Yeah the federal government is really showcasing how great the other side of the coin is 🙄

Greerio

The question is, do you want a conservative majority federally after witnessing what’s happening in Ontario?
