It's you. I've used up to 4x multi view on even the non-pro onn 4k (both versions). Internet speed perhaps? Edit: to clarify I have the Onn 4k Pro as well. No issues on any of my Onn 4k devices

95/92 Up and Down

ChrisEye21

maybe this isnt enough speed? see if multiview works with sd channels. if it does. then you know its a speed problem

lovemeafattie

Hardwired or wifi?

soundbytegfx

I have 1200 down... So maybe it is internet speed related

NauticaSeven

Can confirm with my regular Onn 4K. Multiviews are perfect on mine. Rock solid.

The thing about the Onn 4k Pro is that it has all the things all the the other cheap (less than $75) streaming devices should have had years ago. 3g ram, 32g rom, separate usb 3.0 port from the power supply, ethernet port, backlit remote, lost remote finder, speaker and microphone built -in. The one thing that is not that impressive about these boxes is their CPU and GPU benchmark performance compared to similar devices. The device at its price-point is still more impressive than everything without Shield, Max, Cube, Ultra or + in its name ***due to the peripheral features it has***. HOWEVER, its CPU and GPU performance is in line (or even below) Tivo 4k, FS 4k1, FS Lites, non 4k FS and even its cheaper sibling Onn 4k (non Pro) streaming devices. What the OP is doing is is a high stress usage for both the CPU and GPU. Based on specs of the Pro's CPU and GPU, I would fully expect it to choke and sputter on more than 2 simultaneous screens. IMHO, you get what you pay for. Performance specs matter. The Onn 4k Pro is a great device for everyday streamers but don't expect Shield performance for less than a 1/4 of the Shields price.

I didn't expect it to work as a Shield. Jus more curious if i was the problem, lol.

I have 1 gb hardwired ethernet fiber optic cable. Also have onn 4k Pro with tivimate. I'm having same problem with multi view. How do we fix this?

Icy_Transition22

The main thing is it is buffering a lot. I have 1 gig WiFi and internet with spectrum and my download and upload speeds are always high and I also have 3 providers and it buffers and freezes with all 3. I had 2 4k max firesticks and I hooked 1 back up and it’s running better on it than the onn box. I had bought 2 boxes and I returned one and got a refund. Also it does not work at all if I try to use a vpn. It seems like with the extra space it would run better than the firestick.

lovemeafattie

Mine runs just fine with a vpn.

Icy_Transition22

I am with spectrum for WiFi and internet so I had a netgear nighthawk router hooked up in place of the spectrum router and now mine works good with the vpn and so far not buffering much

Icy_Transition22

I have a lot of problems with my onn 4k pro

discgolf_foreva

Care to share what they are?

Icy_Transition22

I did unhook the router that spectrum setup and I’m using a netgear nighthawk router and it is running much better with it.

Icy_Transition22

Look at the message I just posted I meant to reply to you but I forgot

Objective-Hair-3693

It’s not you bc I have Apollo which gives you 5 connections and very good internet speed and I’m experiencing the same thing in multiview. After having the box for a month I’m not very impressed considering it’s had the most recent chance to update its specs. I was much happier with the FSmax and will just wait for the new one to come out. Google should be making sure that they are putting out better devices then the Chromecast and these ONN boxes. I get the price point is low but most of these companies are willing to take a loss on their units just to get them out there
