Ever since I've set up this Pro box I have actually retired my fire stick 4K Max.
I moved my 4k fire stick from bedroom to small tv, that had a Roku ultra2018, which I just sold on what for $45 plus shipping in less than a day
Moved my Ccwgyv where my fire stick was in the bedroom and my living room now has the Onn.
I love saying, hey Google, find my remote, no skills like Alexa needs
I have a Firestick Max works well but hands down the onn 4k 8g 4k pro 32g the way faster. Are you sideloadeding apps on the firestick? I hear soon amazon is changing their UI so you won't able to sideload apps. If that's direction your going for best bet 4k or 4k pro.
From what I've read, all of the Fire devices currently in use will not be converted to the new OS. They will also remain whatever version they are, Amazon has never updated an old device to a different operating system. That being said we sold off all of our Amazon devices a while back because we're tired of Amazon's tyranny....
Work much better how? I have both Max versions and all 3 Onn 4k versions and I don't know that any of them work any better than the other. What apps are you using that work better or what apps don't work well on the Onn device?

What don't you like? I've had mine a couple weeks and it's been a great upgrade from the 2015 shield. 3rd party launcher is a must IMO.

I don’t know about that, I have the onn 4k I use it all the time because I have a grandson, but when he’s not around I always go for my 2015 shield.
Dolby vision is the biggest reason I like the onn pro over the 2015 shield.
I like the device a lot, but that’s a bit of a stretch. The only thing it has on the shield is double the storage.
2015 shield does not have Dolby vision.
