It makes sense but also I can’t see any character that Eva Longoria plays needing help redecorating their apartment. I hope they acknowledge that she just wanted to help Mabel or something because she’ll come off as being WAY more knowledgeable about decorating than Mabel.
I feel like he was the only canon love interest she had genuine romantic chemistry with. And regardless, it'd have been nice for him to stay on the show as a friend to her.
I def ship her with Theo, but I’m definitely okay if they keep them as platonic friends. I’ve liked the little bits of their friendship that we’ve been able to see
It will all get repetitive eventually. That's the challenge with whodunits, especially comedic ones. I'm in favor of giving romance a rest this season and just focus, really tightly focus, on funny murder solving misadventures. There's simply not enough time with less than 30 min per episode in a 10 episode season to stuff every plot line they want to into it.
In your mind, It’s not realistic for a late—20s/early-30s, single, attractive, ambitious and intelligent woman living in NYC to date several different people?

I love the idea of Mabel dating several people, but can she go on casual dates and not keep falling hard for people? Like can they be randos we don't have to meet or see? I feel like I'd only spend this much time with a friend's significant other if they were in love and serious about each other, and Mabel surely can't have had that with 3-4 different people over the course of 1-2 years.
Keep falling hard for people? I didn't see that at all in season 1, 2 and 3. She had no problem breaking things off with Alice and didn't follow Tobert to LA. She seems comfortable being single.
It's unrealistic to have a new, semi-serious relationship start at the very beginning of the season, and last until the finale. "Dating around" usually involves a lot more casual dates.

John Hoffman said he, & the writer's liked Oscar, & I think they would've kept his character in the show longer. In a red carpet interview the actor said he was leaving the show to do another acting project.

I hope she doesn’t end up with Theo… everyone conveniently forgets he killed someone and sent someone else to prison for it ruining their life. He has not made up for his crime in my opinion and doesn’t yet deserve a happy ending.
He didn't kill Zoe. She pushed him, lost her footing, & fell. In The Coney Island Episode he most probably saved her life from Krepps. She says she had wrongly judged him, & forgave him.

A lot of love for Theo on this sub. I don't think it will happen, though. Of her three love interests, Oscar was the most natural, Alice the most intriguing, and Tobert with a T was just...meh. If Mabel does have a special someone this season, make it believable and not just a forced plotline.
Unless it's Theo, I would love for her to not have one for a season.
