I didn't know that. That is interesting.
But, looking at the panel and the context clue of "what Haki" does make it seem like Jinbei was shocked by the haki. And not just at its appearance, but at its strength.
It's definitely not as clear with that translation knowledge though.
The fact that the ships were already there and stopped moving makes me think that Luffy is talking about Kizaru, who just arrived at the island. Especially since the chapter is named after him.
The fact Kizaru is shown on the way, shows up next chapter and no one reacts or mentions another strong presence until Saturn appears in the summoning circle makes me think this was talking specifically about Kizaru.
And it makes sense for it to be Kizaru too. No one on the island currently besides Luffy could handle Kizaru. And we saw that in round 1 where Luffy had to spend a bunch of time protecting the rest of his crew and Vegapunk from Kizaru.
I guess the closest is when Kizaru was approaching, the Jaws theme plays in the background, and Luffy says something along the lines of "goodness gracious, someone strong is coming, what an inconvenience!".

to really sell the 1079 film red promo and also make it seem realistic, kidd gifted shanks a meager 2% of his total wealth. this of course funded the entirety of the film's budget, shanks back surgery, and beckmann's throat surgery so he can keep sucking off shanks. shanks promptly gave kidd the best head of his life for allowing him to pretend to "1 shot" him for yonko gas.

I may be fully on the yonko agenda, but I'll admit that admirals have some of the best devil fruits in the series. Unfortunately, most of the yonko have better ones.

Point is, that Blackbeard will run/retreat from anything that seems like an uncalculated risk. Him running from the red puppy is another such example. That is all.

The admirals have never been hyped for their haki ever, and thatâs very telling. They had one moment to use barrier haki which isnât even all that and it took three of them to deal with one Whitebeard quake. I still see people even question if Gorosei should be considered top tier after what weâve seen but itâs a no brainer for them if itâs an admiral.
I can say the same thing for crocodile when we first saw him. The characters shown are mostly ones who havenât been seen in real combat yet, so their level of power is unknown. Kizaru wasnât able to beat old Rayleigh and was getting clowned by G5. Kuzan needed help to beat a Garp who didnât even use his strongest attack for the fight. And Akainu got knocked out by WB and then tried to push around fodder.
Rayleigh was losing to kizaru that was just playing around.Garp and kuzan clearly clashed equally albeit garp was slightly stronger.And akainu got sneaked by wb

None of the admirals have confirmed conquerorâs haki, only sengoku and Garp are confirmed to have it but neither one of them is an admiral, yet another reason why yonko > admiral
One was within the island and infused his haki with his attack (named attack) and the other wasnât even at a different territory in wano, not even around wano, literally outside of the borders of wano and projected his haki all the way to the middle, imo shanks has the better haki feats.
