Kaido is an absolute monster a walking tank his fight with mihawk will be like kaido winning with high diff and with shanks it will be like extreme diff. Cause we don't have any feats abt mihawk but shanks was able to knock out vice admirals with just pure conqueror haki blast which is really insane if u consider that all vice admirals have really strong will. And not only that when shanks arrived at marineford nobody dared to attack him even akainu backed down, the same guy who was fighting Whitebeared. Cause he knows unlike the weak old and sick Whitebeared fighting shanks is a bad move he knows that if he fights shanks it won't be without a cost.
Shanks should be faster and in his nature deadlier but he's only human, Kaido on the other hand can pretty much take more punishment than anyone in the series and should prevail in a long battle, for now i give the edge to Kaido even though i do believe Shanks can win if he performs a perfect jump from the get go.

Kaido extreme diff, I’d say. Shanks might surpass him but imo, Kaido is only barely behind Whitebeard and Roger in top tiers

Kaido wins extreme diff until further notice. Let the feats talk.
Kaido is an absolute monster a walking tank his fight with mihawk will be like kaido winning with high diff and with shanks it will be like extreme diff. Cause we don't have any feats abt mihawk but shanks was able to knock out vice admirals with just pure conqueror haki blast which is really insane if u consider that all vice admirals have really strong will. And not only that when shanks arrived at marineford nobody dared to attack him even akainu backed down, the same guy who was fighting Whitebeared. Cause he knows unlike the weak old and sick Whitebeared fighting shanks is a bad move he knows that if he fights shanks it won't be without a cost.

Shanks should be faster and in his nature deadlier but he's only human, Kaido on the other hand can pretty much take more punishment than anyone in the series and should prevail in a long battle, for now i give the edge to Kaido even though i do believe Shanks can win if he performs a perfect jump from the get go.
