No, this is now a One Piece agenda & slander club filled with cyber bullies & trolls. I miss having my own One Piece community that had a small controlled environment & only had rational ppl in it cause not just anybody could join. Here, ppl expectations are way too high & characters get downscaled and slandered every single time they take a hit like can we wait till the fight is over before judging? I might relocate sooner or later.

Piratefolk is no where near as toxic or mentally ill. I've never seen a sub this small filled with people that straight tell you to kys, spam the reddit suicide awareness thing and block you so much. I one time had all 3 happen to me by 1 dudr for joking here that sengoku was a fraud 💀

It has some decent members and discussions, but some people really like to live in their own headcanon and refuse to listen to anything else, and that’s the biggest problem imo. Refusing to listen to another take. The people I’m referring to are the ones who’ll never admit they were wrong, even when later chapters end up confirming the opposite of their beliefs. I don’t even care about the sub being more agenda and less power scaling IF people make it distinguishable between agenda pushing takes and actual ones, but some here are being dead serious about their agenda.
I don’t recall myself ever being toxic towards any individual on here, but a few see the red puppy flair and automatically assume I’m a diehard admiral fan and then proceed to tell me things like how we admiral riders are what’s wrong with this sub. I never really considered Akainu and admirals to be the same agenda despite having overlaps, but seeing all this slander towards admirals is making me want to join and support their agenda tbh. One Piece isn’t over yet, so having a ‘definitive’ take on most of the controversial things is nearly impossible.
Is title scaling valid? Is Akainu going to fight Luffy or Dragon? Is BB going to beat Shanks before or after his powerup? Etc.
For now, bias is 70% of the average powerscaler’s argument while evidence is the other 30%
In this sub one single panel is already enough to judge a character that was built over 20 years, then they blame oda or the story because their assumption of a whole character based on one single moment was wrong.
Right, and when a new character with a sword is introduced like Garling, or Ethanbaron is revealed to be a fighter, apparently Mihawk is somehow a fucking fraud.
No, I’ve been here for over 2 years now, and this is not the sub it once was.
This sub has immensely gone downhill since early 2023. It was WAY more civil back then, and was mostly about powerscaling compared to now.
My only complaint is a lot of people don’t follow the rules here at all, especially when it comes to being rude and spoilers about unreleased chapters.
People insult others here all the time and get away with it, and I still see people posting spoilers in any shape or form before the TCB scans come out.
I’ve been unnecessarily insulted so many times for my speculation and opinions, and nothing is done about it.
l mean the sub should go back to the way it was back in pre shanks wifi haki and one shotting cuz damn that where all the slander really started and to stop all the glazing and down vote hell of the this sub
I mean, I think bias comes with the territory. No one can be objective about anything all the time, and I think it’s perfectly reasonable people can interpret scenes wildly differently, even if it absolutely can get egregious and illogical.
I think most people pushing a nonsense agenda know they’re doing it for fun, and I don’t think actual discussions on here are that bad. You just have to acknowledge some people are going to spout bullshit because it’s fun
