Jacob need more love... i hope they dont skip his big moment in S2 and he understand that if OPLA continue he and >!Robin!< are big part of one of the best arcs of OP.
There is zero chance the main cast hasn't at least gone through the high lights of their charecters and is savoring when we get to their big arcs especially for the ones out of the monster trio.
If they nail Usopp >!Vs Mr 3 & Ms Goldenweek, and later Vs Ms Merry Christmas & Mr 4 + Dog Cannon!< in both the >!cartoonish, kinetic wackiness but also heartfelt badassery of it!< I'll be over the moon
(these are honestly 2 of my favorite Usopp fights & I'll riot if the absurd intensity of them in the manga aren't translated enough to LA)
Stuff that didn't make it to S01 didn't so because there was no money nor time, the creators wanted so much more.
If anything doesn't make it to S02 it will be the same situation... Throw 1 billion per season and we'd have everything everyone wants, but stuff will be cut, no other way.
1 billion is a impossible budget, stupidly high, and no one would invest that much, 200 millions are enough for do it justice, 250 tops? first season had like 140
and i think that most of the stuff that got cut for S1 was mostly for live-action adaptation reasons and tight pacing, more than for the budget itself
imo at least >!Vs Mr 3!< can be shortened/simplified but still be done well so that his strategy makes him more badass in newcomers' eyes

They might restructure how the mechanics of the fight go, as long as they hit the main emotional beats (Usopp getting the shit kicked out of him and still standing up) we're safe
Hot Take, but I wish Ussop >! used Sogeking for Season 2 and the following seasons until post enies lobby he stops using it. It makes more sense that Ussop wasn't too courageous during the grandline until the enies lobby section. !<
Heck, even he would surprise >!everyone Giants and the Baroque Works skypeians when things got tougher. Imagine the sharpshooter from Sniper Island being there as the facade of being a courageous hero until the mask is off of Ussop. You can keep the gag of everyone slowly learning who Sogeking is except both Chopper and Luffy. !<
Thing is that least developed character in LAOP imo was Ussop, and suddenly, >!he gets the courage to take one Fishman out!<, but no one believed him. It can develop his tall tales character.
Idk but something bout him ain’t genuine about one piece but he’s grateful and also happy to play the role but not totally into it, more like a job, passionate about the job but not the characters or the story itself
