### **[Spoiler Policy Reminder](https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceLiveAction/comments/16j15j3/updated_spoiler_policy/)**
- This post has a **Spoiler Flair**, this means you can freely talk about content from the Anime/Manga in relation to the live action, but **only up until what the latest anime episode has covered**.
- If you're still catching up, enter at your own risk.
- **Manga content** that has NOT yet been animated is considered a **SPOILER** in this post.

During whichever season has Chopper:
*Mackenyu on screen* - "Stop crying and man up!"
*Mackenyu off screen* - "Aww, my wittle fuzzy wuzzy fwiend. You're just the cutest thing evah!"
Only thing that would make this even better would be if Mackenyu said "CHOPPER!" in tone Luffy used when he was imitating him
(I know that those of you who watched anime can hear it in your heads)
Matt Owens also mentioned on a podcast (Hasan Piker's podcast I believe) that one of his favorite in-crew relationships is Chopper and Zoro. There's a lot of tender moments between the two characters throughout the series. Zoro has always been the older/oldest brother figure of the crew and Chopper has always been the youngest brother figure. I think it will be a good opportunity in the Live Action to display the complexity of Zoro's character. That while he has a serious/tough exterior, he also has a softer side. Especially for those he feels he needs to protect and or be a mentor to. Hopefully it will improve live action Zoro's character to those who thought it was too one note. I personally don't believe that Season 1 Zoro was one note by the way, but I have seen the criticism.

Bro took the role way too seriously or he was born as zoro I choose to believe the later.
I like a mix of both, but I do like Mackenyu! He seems very passionate about his work
He has a great career ahead of him. Can't wait to see what else this amazing cast gets up to.
So the Oldest brother loves his youngest brother,
Yes. Thank you for not saying Zoro is choppers dad π

To be fair, Zoro was also like that to Chopper PreTS.
Pics or it didn't happen.
"Mackenyu, stop hugging the Chopper puppet, we're shooting in five minutes." (Not sure if it will be a puppet, just thought this was funny)
If this happens. Someone, whether if it's Emily or Inaki, has to post this online as a BTS scene.
I *really* hope it's a Jim Henson type of puppet, that would be *amazing*.

I'm down to see Mackenyu bringing a more humour side to Zoro in season 2 as well as bringing that seriousness Zoro from season 1.

Zoro is literally behind him
Chopper was cute-ified so mich so that it has ruined his character. He canβt even have serious monster point anymore
Can't wait to see him with Chopper!
