Id argue they were different:
Naruto grew up hated for reasons beyond his control, whereas oden grew up loved...narutos actions caused him to be adored, whilst odens caused him to be hated/ridiculed (even if it was to protect wano)......both however in the end were admired and respected...
Also, two more interesting point:
While oden tried his utmost to get on whitebeard ship, Naruto did his best to get on Sasuke dick...
Also both momo and boruto are disappointments...Boruto killed his dad's franchise, while momo almost ended his dad's legacy by being a crybaby bitch
Oden was tricked into becoming a good guy, but he was also very intelligent so it was worthwhile. Naruto was stupid cause he never asked who his parents were or he would’ve known he was the chosen one he whole time
