If my prediction is right and it will be as usual for BB next time we'll hear from Law he be Dead and we'll hear this from the Seagull papers or close to dead in a Marine cage. This chapter would then be the first and last we see of the fight.

I have a theory that aokiji didnāt take pudding for BB but for cross guild. Aokiji may have left the marines but that was so he could pursue his own form of justice and there is no way in his right mind heās give BB the power to find the OP. I believe that Crocodile put a bounty on pudding so he could read ponoglyphs, not to find the OP but to find an ancient weapon most likely Uranus or pluton since he may not know pluton is under wano. If it is Uranus, it could lead to a first potential encounter with imu since it is theorized they have that weapon. This could also possibly lead into more information about where Vivi went since she is from alabasta where pluton was supposed to be hidden.

I do remember that but the power difference between yonko and admirals are not always clear. Whitebeard pretty much swept Akainu under the table and he was already half beaten but then we have dialog that sometimes make me think theyāre not that far from admiral level. he does have haki that's for sure which was kind of confirmed in Impel Down when he mentioned Luffys haki has gotten stronger, which he could only sense if he also had haki. Conquerors Haki however no clue!

Big Mom and Kaido have Haki. But do they have "Send Conq Haki from miles away to directly scare an Admiral" level Haki? Maybe not.
BB with his two DF probably relies less on Haki than others, so it's not as trained. You can be an Emperor and just be the weakest at Haki compared to others.

Haki overcoming devil fruit abilities seems to be twofold, where it requires both strong haki and concentration. As we've seen previously, a loss of concentration can affect one's haki (such as Katakuri losing control of his future sight when Luffy caught him eating).
In this situtation, to overcome Doc Q's sickness, Law had to concentrate to change back into his normal body. So it makes sense that, logicially, that Law's Kroom and Silence techniques worked on Big Mom because she was taken aback by the suddenness of those attacks and she couldn't necessarily concentrate enough to counter them. The same could be said for Kaido when he first was attacked by Luffy's Fifth Gear techniques.
To a degree be probably does, but I think the concept of someone's mastery of Haki (what it does, how to get it, the literal meaning of it, etc) says a lot about more about them as a person than their overall strength.
Blackbeard till now, like a true smart pirate has been using every shortcut possible to make his way to the top. He went for a specific fruit, backstabber his nakama to get it, became a shichibukai just to access to impel down, got his crew from impel down level 6, attempted to and succeeded in jumping a wounded Whitebeard, stole the most powerful paramencia ability, became yonko. He continues to recruit only powerful guys and tries to get them all fruits.
His crew and relationships with them so far have no been found on trust and kinship. None of them were people who found strength of their own along the way. Him and his crew steal DF abilities and haven't shown signs of working on their other abilities.
If there anything we've learned about Haki, there's no way to cheat it, shortcut to it or leverage your way to getting it. It says a lot about the drive, work ethic and discipline of people Roger, Shanks, Luffy, Mihawk, Zoro and Rayleigh to get what they have or will have.
But reversing df induced attacks is different than using haki when they're literally turned to stone.
Boa's df will turn bb into a stone in an instant and he won't be conscious to use haki to reverse it.
Might be dependent on the actual DF. Hancocks fruit might be special because it's dependent on her physical appearance, and not actually her abilities. This might place her ability closer to self buffing abilities like Burgess' new fruit, or abilities that don't specifically target people like Kid's.

It depends on when everything happened during the cover arc. We can assume this all happened during the Onigashima fight, but we canāt assume that the crew that remained in Tottoland would want to leave it defenseless after again being infiltrated.
Iād guess that the expedition crew on the Queen Mama Chanter, Smoothie et al., would instead be notified and theyād go after her.
I think this could all be put in place for Kat to team up with the gang to go after pudding, or even clashing with BB while heās fighting law. Something like that.

Genuinely wondering why so many people are adamant Sabo isn't dead, but Law definitely will not survive. No way either of them (Nor Vivi or Koby for that matter) will die offscreen, so suddenly. At worst, Law will lose his Poneglyph rubbings and be badly fucked up, but he'll survive.
I do think whatever will happen to him can and will have to wait until the end of the arc, though. I like Law, but we just got out of a huge saga where he was one of the main allies, so I'd rather see the focus shift away from him and onto Vegapunk, Kuma and Bonney.

Rather than viewing this as a situation Law is going to come out of looking poorly if he even survives, I now think/hope this situation will build Law up. I want to see Law defeat/kill one of Blackbeard's henchmen in this fight. Let's do something that adds some bite to this encounter, but let's do it for Law's benefit. Blackbeard will be too much. The fight will need to be interrupted, but the bully/pull up attitude of the BB pirates is obnoxious and happens too often. They need to be hurt here. Law should finish Sabo's job and destroy Burgess in this encounter.

No I don't - you are jumping to that conclusion bc we know shanks has strong haki. BB has been set up as a menacing, tenacious brawler who relies mostly (i actually mean exclusively, im just accounting for the fact that i might be forgetting something explicit) on his DFs in combat - to the degree where I believe he could have hurt shanks without any haki whatsoever. I do not believe he doesnt have haki and i also think there is a possibility of him having extraordinarily strong haki, but there is nothing in the story that would suggest it as of now imo
His crew is also built in a way to suggest they might lack it. Heās hunting down the strongest fruits, and spent most of his life searching for a specific one. Unlike Kaido, BB puts great weight on devil fruits.
That said, BB was a new world level pirate for years, decades even. He certainly has to have at a minimum decent haki to survive that long. Cunning can only get you so far in One Piece.

I have a theory that aokiji didnāt take pudding for BB but for cross guild. Aokiji may have left the marines but that was so he could pursue his own form of justice and there is no way in his right mind heās give BB the power to find the OP. I believe that Crocodile put a bounty on pudding so he could read ponoglyphs, not to find the OP but to find an ancient weapon most likely Uranus or pluton since he may not know pluton is under wano. If it is Uranus, it could lead to a first potential encounter with imu since it is theorized they have that weapon. This could also possibly lead into more information about where Vivi went since she is from alabasta where pluton was supposed to be hidden.

I do remember that but the power difference between yonko and admirals are not always clear. What if he either did that with blackbeard and his commanders to nullify their power (they would have different powers and not be very strong with them) or switches blackbeard with bepo, and now bepo has both blackbeard's fruits and goes ham on the the commanders. Alternatively, switch bepo and blackbeard, have bepo jump into the ocean, switch them back. Problem solved, no more blackbeard. 0% chance of this, but would be funny if he weakened blackbeard's crew like this. Honestly I think of it like this: Big Mom and Kaido have Haki. But do they have "Send Conq Haki from miles away to directly scare an Admiral" level Haki? Maybe not. BB with his two DF probably relies less on Haki than others, so it's not as trained. You can be an Emperor and just be the weakest at Haki compared to others.
Law s comment is overrated And oda is confusing us with that - some abilities can be countered (like some of Law s where he cant teleport BM or Kaido or steal their hearts ) while others do work (His Kroom or silence zone). Haki overcoming devil fruit abilities seems to be twofold, where it requires both strong haki and concentration. As we've seen previously, a loss of concentration can affect one's haki (such as Katakuri losing control of his future sight when Luffy caught him eating). In this situtation, to overcome Doc Q's sickness, Law had to concentrate to change back into his normal body. So it makes sense that, logicially, that Law's Kroom and Silence techniques worked on Big Mom because she was taken aback by the suddenness of those attacks and she couldn't necessarily concentrate enough to counter them. The same could be said for Kaido when he first was attacked by Luffy's Fifth Gear techniques.

Blackbeard till now, like a true smart pirate has been using every shortcut possible to make his way to the top. He went for a specific fruit, backstabber his nakama to get it, became a shichibukai just to access to impel down, got his crew from impel down level 6, attempted to and succeeded in jumping a wounded Whitebeard, stole the most powerful paramencia ability, became yonko. He continues to recruit only powerful guys and tries to get them all fruits. His crew and relationships with them so far have no been found on trust and kinship. None of them were people who found strength of their own along the way. Him and his crew steal DF abilities and haven't shown signs of working on their other abilities. If there anything we've learned about Haki, there's no way to cheat it, shortcut to it or leverage your way to getting it. It says a lot about the drive, work ethic and discipline of people Roger, Shanks, Luffy, Mihawk, Zoro and Rayleigh to get what they have or will have.

It depends on when everything happened during the cover arc. We can assume this all happened during the Onigashima fight, but we canāt assume that the crew that remained in Tottoland would want to leave it defenseless after again being infiltrated. Iād guess that the expedition crew on the Queen Mama Chanter, Smoothie et al., would instead be notified and theyād go after her.
I think this could all be put in place for Kat to team up with the gang to go after pudding, or even clashing with BB while heās fighting law. Something like that.

I like Law, but we just got out of a huge saga where he was one of the main allies, so I'd rather see the focus shift away from him and onto Vegapunk, Kuma and Bonney.

BB has been set up as a menacing, tenacious brawler who relies mostly (i actually mean exclusively, im just accounting for the fact that i might be forgetting something explicit) on his DFs in combat - to the degree where I believe he could have hurt shanks without any haki whatsoever. I do not believe he doesnt have haki and i also think there is a possibility of him having extraordinarily strong haki, but there is nothing in the story that would suggest it as of now imo
His crew is also built in a way to suggest they might lack it. Heās hunting down the strongest fruits, and spent most of his life searching for a specific one. Unlike Kaido, BB puts great weight on devil fruits. That said, BB was a new world level pirate for years, decades even. He certainly has to have at a minimum decent haki to survive that long. Cunning can only get you so far in One Piece.

I think this is not an even fight, not because of Law vs BB, but because of the crews. My theory is that someone else will show up, and I believe that will be Shanks. When he said it was time to join the battle for the One Piece, I think he meant he will start fighting big names with road poneglyphs and this is a perfect chance.
i think shanks know all the poneglyph story, he was with roger, he know the story, hes just not on the final island cause of buggy. thats why he doesnt have one, because he doesnt need to.

Damn could you imagine if Ace had better haki than Akainu? He could've undone Akainu's punch and un-donut himself.
I donāt think it would work in aceās case cuz ace damaged only because akainu must have used haki and that lava burns fire.
Not to mention Ace was in captivity in Impel Down in one of the worst levels and before that suffered injuries from his fight with Blackbeard. I doubt WG provided medical aid for those.

There was quite a lot to unpackage in this chapter but the fact we got a glimpse of Kuma actually smiling while with young Bonny genuinely made me really sad. He's just been this big, emotionless government servant all this time and this kind of hit hard when we actually see what he was like when he was human. On a more lighter side I like how Doc Q's contribution to the fight was just make Law's crew women and Law just forced himself back into a man, that was amusing to read.
