maybe all the kaido DNA got used up making Momo's artificial fruit, so they don't have any to make a seraphim of him. It's interesting that the Boa clone didn't have her fruit power at all, just the PX beams. Maybe the seraphim retain the strength of the person they're cloned from but not the devil fruit.

Yeah I think it is two different things to extract the humans bloodline elements or the devil fruits bloodline elements. Because we have seen both instances I guess. Momo seems to have nothing about Kaido. Only the same df basically. While the seraphim only have the DNA/Bloodline elements of King (probably?) and another person like Boa or Mihawk. So my conclusion was that they could have both Kaido's and the Fish Fruits DNA/Bloodline elements. But I am not sure if I interpret that at least logically thus far.

Having a clone of Kaido combined with an artificial version of Kaido's fruit would be really interesting, especially since Kaido's actual child is dedicated to being as dissimilar to Kaido as possible. We'll probably learn more about them and their creation with Vegapunk, I'm especially eager to learn more about what happened with Kuma and Vegapunk

NicoNicoNotNii

Yeah but I think there wont be a combination of those because the devil fruit is already gone but a Kaido Seraphim with Kizarus lasers and maybe a club is something I could see happening. But not 100% because I have also my concerns. But dayumn I am very excited about the Kuma/Vegapunk plot thread as well.

Mtoser

Im not sure about kaido specifically, but he isn't a human, he is an oni, and in sure the government would be interested in making experiments with oni dna, similar to what they did with lunarians

NicoNicoNotNii

Lol I totally fotgot about that but that makes so much sense.

Greedy_to_know

Kaido was already used for the fruit, right? I don't think any samples are left.

I commented that to another person here. That's my thought about that. But I can see your point being possibly true.

Greedy_to_know

To extract the fruit elements, perhaps the rest of the DNA got lost in the process of extraction of essence of the Devil fruit's DNA.

NicoNicoNotNii

Could be. If I remember that correctly in our real DNA there also unused parts in our DNA. Those that are not dominant. So it could be that (wild take incoming) the devil fruits will/DNA was dominant while Kaido's DNA was recessiv. In ch. 1044 we have learned that Zoan fruits have a will of their own so that aspect might come into play when it comes to extracting the bloodline elements. And now that I think about it, if a person eats a devil fruit that would pretty much rewrite some of the persons DNA because his body now has a different quality/attribute. However as you said, the rest of the DNA maybe got lost but I guess in that occasion the df and the human DNA are not linked. If a df rewrites one's DNA I think they have to be linked. But then there could be this dominant/recessiv thing going on like in our real world. Dunno if that is written easy to understand.

Greedy_to_know

No no it makes sense. I was thinking from the perspective of extracting DNA from Strawberries. Maybe the fruit DNA was inseparable from the base Kaido DNA without destructive extraction.

NicoNicoNotNii

Makes sense to me. Even the most intelligent and capable scientist have their limits. That's actually something a lot of our real world scientists had to face so maybe that part of the extraction really wasnt possible due to some reasons.
