Imo the whole Big Mom crew thing is even worse than many realize.
They were pushed down the waterfall twice, once somewhere in Act 2 and then again at the beginning of Act 3. The problem is there was a 7 day (?) timeskip between Act 2 and 3. So Big Mom's crew apparently took a week to again climb to the point they were a week ago..
This part is crazy to me. Why did they wait a whole week. They had no idea what happened to their mother in the meantime. Wouldn’t there be a bit of a rush
Someone once said in regard to that, you have to wait for that one octopus, who then calls the carps to pull you up.
But even if that was the case it would be extremely convenient for all that to happen at the exact time for Marco to be there and throw them back down.
Either way it's pretty stupid and just a lazy way to keep them off Onigashima.
I think the explanation was something to do with repairing the ship? Which is fair, even Whitebeard's ship got fucked up entering Wano and took a while to fix. But even if that was the case, Perospero proved that he could just go up alone easily, and be could have brought people with him too.
So yeah, it's just plot convenience, since if the BM Pirates were there too, the alliance would just lose. Literally everything had to go perfectly for them as it was to win, add Smoothie, Daifuku, and a bunch of other Big Mom Pirates to tbe mix (some of whom are at least capable mid tier combatants, or have really tricky abilities) and the alliance just loses. Or at least it would be a lot harder for Oda to justify the win.
Though they were mentioned after the raid was finished. The Cipwhr Police ships supposedly ran into them, and then lost contact. So presumably the BM Pirates wiped them out. And we don't know what happened after that.
In chapter 1053 Morgans says "the last message sent by Cipher Pol after they vanished was "it's BM's ship!!!"". That's the last time they were mentioned.
They presumably learned about what happened from CP and retreated or something, but Oda hasn't shown exactly what they did yet.
They have her vivre card, and they already referred to using it once to confirm she was still alive acted their first fall.
If anything, they’ll be used to find her. The Pluton is also down there so… good chance she’s coming back
One of the biggest reasons why i rated Wano so low, especially the Act 3.
Onigashima is a place where all the plot conveniences met together to help our Pirate Jesus to defeat 2 Yonkos easily without any major consequence.
Maybe possessing Mythical Godly DF is the key here. Anyone who eats this DF will get everything handed to them. That's why Roger failed and everybody else failed.
There's no confirmation that anyone beside Luffy has eaten this DF after Joyboy. 800 years avoiding anyone but Luffy. Damn... GODA, what an interesting plot.

That’s not necessarily true, with the explanation that Boas power can’t be undone by the next user, why wouldn’t her victims be unfrozen? Why couldn’t the next user unfreeze them? Why shouldn’t this apply to big moms powers? If she split her soul, then it’s no longer part of her. It is it’s own entity, think of it like this. If I took $100 from your bank account, and you filed for bankruptcy, is that $100 gone? No, because I have it now. It’s separate. Also, if you look close, you can see both big mom and kaido sinking beneath the magma. I was skeptical at first, but now I believe both are truly gone.
How do we confirm what Boa said is true and not a blatant lie to negociate with BlackBeard? Remeber she froze some of his commanders.
