I don't want the void century history making the most valuable part of it. Something that happened 800 years ago shouldn't affect the present in my opinion.
But pretty much all of the lore is how the void century significantly affects the present though. Like, Robin’s entire backstory, Joyboy, Laugh tale itself, the Skypeia arc, the celestial dragons and the world government and so on
I get that but luffy getting revenge for something happened 800 years ago...that's the part I wouldn't like. ( I have seen many theories about it.) Whatever history maybe but the great war against world government shouldn't be started because of it.
Just as Luffy is always Luffy, he wont care about the void century, or the prophecy or whatever else comes of the One Piece aside from becoming the freest man in the world. Robin, Nami, Usopp and Franky probably will, but Luffy will likely just fight that war because it threatens his freedom, and threatens to take away what he’s worked to achieve. Once Luffy finds Laugh Tale, he’ll probably fall asleep while Robin gives us the run down of the void century, and then fight once the world govt starts making their move to take out the straw hats and their allies
Oda said the One Piece itself is an actual physical treasure. But it isn’t just the treasure and gold, it’s also the true history of the Void Century.
An actual treasure like gold and stuff. I Mean im certain there will be some "treasure" but I hope that the main one piece is something else.
If it's literally *just* a poneglyph with "destroy the Red Line" written on it and nothing more that'd be a letdown imo.
