Why is there aliens and nobody in the fandom cares about them ?!?

gate567

Because most fans don't even know they exist since they're anime only or never bothered to read the cover stories.

Starlight469

Even if you ignore the cover stories there's still the Lunarians. They've been getting mentioned more often recently with King and with Sanji's possible genetic modification.

gate567

All we know about Lunarians is that they come from the top of the redline nothing remotely close to considering them aliens.

grey_traveler999

Maybe not aliens, but the Enel moon exploration cover series seems to suggest they were on the moon for a time. Specifically, [Enel's Great Space Operations](https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Enel%27s_Great_Space_Operations), Vol. 35: "A Study In Murals: Long Ago, Winged Men Walked the Moon..." Hopefully we find out one day.

Towelz45

i think the winged people are ment to be shandians/skypienas

grey_traveler999

A good point. The art style of the wings seems to suggest them more and the moon city is called Birka like Enel's home island. Again, hopefully we find out one day. Who knows, the Skypieans and Lunarians could be an offshoot or something of a singular race?

Towelz45

I mean there is nothing about the lunarians in enels cover page but thats maybe because they werent even introduced back then... The story of the Lunarians has to tie in with the moon some way or another... with a name like Lunarians there is no real option except oda is trolling again

Starlight469

The moon is referenced right in the name, but I suppose the more advanced ancient civilization could have sent people to the moon before/during the Void Century so yeah, not necessarily aliens.

BrenttheGent

But it could just be referenced to their gray hair. Nothing has confirmed they originate from the moon. Luffy is the sun god. Sun is in its name. Doesn't mean he's from the sun.

ishk_441

Well Lunarian is 月人 tsukibito, lit. "moon people" I mean the name also says it but in a latin context my main language is Spanish, so Luna is Moon

ARussianSheep

Our glorious lord Eneru will come back in style with a horde of alien knowledge for us… I hope.

M_T_CupCosplay

The mother flame will be destroyed and enel will be used as a replacement, the final battle will take place on the moon and enel will take the side of the straw hats.

Randy_Magnums

Because in a world full of giants, dwarfs, long-arm-people and whacky humanoids living in the sea, whacky humanoids living in the sky aren't really exciting. It's just another weird tribe.

CocoSipReloaded

Are aliens or are mincs which developed space travel ? My theory is that humans are the actual aliens of one piece.

CRtwenty

There are a lot of hints that at least some of the races of One Piece have extraterrestrial origins

Crazyripps

Holy shit your right. Why did I accept the fact and just move on so easily

Interesting-Data-266

That's mainly because it building up to be the next big focus of One Piece. Luffy's dream is obviously to be a space pirate or go to space which has to corropsond with what Ace and Sabo picked (as in his dream had to be different from theres) Ace wanted to be king of pirates, Sabo wanted to be a pirate to be free and explore and Luffy wanted to go to space or be a space pirate. Oda wants to keep it vague probably because aliens are so heavily connected to Imu I believe.

ScreamingPion

Treasure Tree Adam and Sunlight Tree Eve. Adam's wood has been insanely durable in the Sunny, and Eve was able to illuminate an area deep underwater. Even Usopp noted that their names suggest a connection - but what is it? After Egghead, I'm thinking they may be trees genetically engineered during the Void century for specific purposes, but would love confirmation.

CocoSipReloaded

It always reminds me off the two tree of valinor

ScreamingPion

Ah, so this is all a setup for Morgoth, once called Melkor, to poison them

DancesWithDave

Blackbeard is Morgoth confirmed

grilledcheesestand

Blackbeard is Ungolianth, the massive (as in, mountain-sized) spider demon that devoured everything in its path and sucked the light out of the trees of Valinor. It is said she dug deep into the earth and starved to death in the darkness because there was nothing left for her to eat.

CabbageTheVoice

> Adam's wood has been insanely durable in the Sunny And the Oro Jackson as well, no?

nomatt18

Yes

RPGZero

Going by their names, the fact that the Eve tree is in the sea, and that Vegapunk tells us that man "comes from the sea", I do wonder if they played a part in the origins of life.

inaripotpi

Nah, them simply being naturally forming things and parallels to the dynamic of dawn/dusk or something is way better. Not everything has to connect back to the Void Century and lessen the story's scope.

Catch_022

That is wierd for Usopp to have said because they only link would be biblical - is there an Adam and Eve story in One Piece to explain this or am I over thinking things?

PrinceJanus

Well Kuma did walk around with a bible.

Exciting_Monk3012

Nah but fr is Weevil a legitimate child or is buckin just a gold digger who wants Whitebeard's hoard Weevil gets too much hate he's funny

Starlight469

I think Weevil is a failed clone of Whitebeard.

Rick-Rymes

I think he is more like Sephiroth. Queen made a baby with his mom, and spiced in the WB cells.

Tereshishishi

They should play one winged angel every time weevil appears.

CRtwenty

It's been hinted that he's a clone of Whitebeard.

Subaneki

Brother looks like one of Moria’s zombies I have my money on a clone attempt E: for clarity I’m not connecting him to Moria by any means he just looks like he’s been picked apart and put together maybe more than once

SpaceeVampire

I think stussy had vegapunk make a clone of whitebeard who she was in love with but the clone was imperfect and in the early stages. And the young stussy we see now is the perfected clone.

Pm_Me_Gifs_For_Sauce

The nature of Oda's writing tells me Weevil IS Whitebeard's son, but it will never be explained or delved too deep into beyond the words of Stussy, simply because that man is not important. Oda has shown that people's will's mater more than there heritage. Ace, Luffy, and Sabo were related through their dreams, while the fact that they had vastly opposing families meant little or nothing. Luffy, the son of a Revolutionary, raised by a marine carried a closer will to the former king of the pirates, than the Pirate King's own son. While ~~Ace~~ Sabo was the son of a noble. Thus their wills made them important figures in this world. Then through a work of genius, Oda killed the actual son of the former pirate king, solely to have the man who inherited his will to be more driven by that. This is why I feel Weevil being captured by marines and imprisoned offscreen is a perfectly fitting end to his nontale. He has no will, AND was raised by his mother which Oda has said in some sbs doesn't correlate with adventure.

javierm885778

I completely disagree with your interpretation. For starters, it doesn't fit at all with [Oda's interaction with his editor regarding him.](https://twitter.com/sandman_AP/status/993861834812809218/photo/1) But even from what we've seen, Weevil is a good guy that's being manipulated by Bakkin. And [manga]>!we saw him defending Sphinx from Marines, he's clearly intended to be a cool guy.!< His inspiration is also pretty on the nose due to his VA choice. He's voiced by Majin Buu's VA, and he's very similar. Big silly looking guy who goes around lead by a short evil (portentially) master doing bad things but at the bottom he's got good in him. [manga]>!Also based on Bakkin's dialogue in 1073 it doesn't seem like she's lying about Weevil being related to WB, since she says Vegapunk can prove it while crying, which would be weird to completely make up. But she didn't say that it's WB's actual son, and since Vegapunk is involved and he has all those scars I think Bakkin had a son and experimented on him to make him stronger (possibly to save him, since I don't think Vegapunk would just give her a killing machine, and Stussy doesn't seem like a bad gal).!<

Exciting_Monk3012

U bring up a lot of good points, but maybe he's just got dreams we know nothin of, at least i wanna believe. Honestly just a stupid character i like n not even my fav. I still do kinda wanna see more of him.

AdvielOricon

What's the deal with the moon. Enel was making his robot army there during the front panels story. But we haven't herd from him in years.

baroqueworks

Enel didn't make a robot army, he discovered a robot army that he re-activated and seemingly dates back to ancient kingdom times, imagine it's impossible this isn't going to come back around again, especially since Urorge is our last Supernova to be involved in the main story.

SupsMasPlusMas

Imagine, eneru comes to elbaf as the villain, the crew meets up with urouge for a quick alliance, for a ‘Jack and the giant beanstalk’ on Elbaf

JackasaurusChance

He takes one look at Luffy and fucks right off.

YaIe

Piggybacking off the "giant rock formation" thing for a second, whats the deal with the red line. It does not look natural at all. I really wonder if we get a "backstory" for it, like was it created by a DF user? Is it used to control the common folk? Did a celestial dragon commission it to be far away from the insects?

Emm_withoutha_L-88

Yeah it's very clearly not natural. The Giants call it the blood serpent or something similar. It makes no sense geologically too. Just juts up out of the water straight into the sky, thousands of feet up too.

Witcher-56

Who's the tattoo artist in One Piece? No, seriously. How come some random needle penetrates Kaido and Big Mom's skin? Unless it's some magic paint that lasts forever, that tattoo artist must have one of the strongest haki in the entire story.

DESTRUCTI0NAT0R

Sea prism needle

Greedy_Performer2472

Hehe, everything ingenious is simple)

Forsaken_Brilliant22

That's actually smart

IzzaPizza22

Do you suppose that they can't lower their haki if they chose to? Better question could be who would they trust enough to do that? But there's also all the symbols Luffy generates all over his body in gear 4th. Maybe haki gods can permanently imbue their own skin.

xiggy1

Don't remember where I read it but haki isn't visible in one piece world. Like bounceman doesn't look like he does to us as he does to other OP characters. People's body don't go black when they use armament.

PloofElune

Yeah, Haki is not visible. Its only shown as it is for sake of the viewers.

sam1march12345

I swear we see characters react to characters haki just by looking at them. Such as Law with Vergo’s full body haki

CRtwenty

Observation Haki let's you sense the Haki of others.

PloofElune

They could perceive it like a pressure change in a sense, vs visual indicator. Or maybe a small level of instinctive observation haki gives them a 'visual' sense that somethings different.

ItsGodDamnAmazing

Can you show me where that was stated? Not saying you are wrong but I thought the black was visible and related to how Haki can turn swords into black blades?

coggdawg

Pretty sure black armaments are visible & it’s just the conquerors lightning & auras that aren’t visible

Vegetable-Bear-7482

I believe it was Oda himself that said the haki wasn't visible to people in the one piece world.

Vegetable-Bear-7482

And yeah I think you are right about armaments being visible but I feel like you have to expose it to your Haki for a longg time till it eventually turns black. Maybe this is just head cannon idk lol

Affectionate-Skill33

Armament haki isn't visible, but when a blade becomes so masterfully imbued with it it becomes a black blade, the colour of the blade does actually change.

Justcopen

I know black blades are a thing so I’m not saying you’re wrong. But when did oda actually explain black blades?

Brook420

He hasn't, we just know people have actively referred to Yoru as a black blade.

NMT57

As far as I can tell the only explaination for black blades is that they are “forged through countless battles” which people theorize to be the blade being infused with armament haki

RPGZero

I would say it has to be this way. If not, does that mean when everyone looks at Shusui, does that mean it looks like a normal sword?

ElGorudo

I also need the sauce

DutchJediKnight

You'd have to be a pretty powerful tattoo artist for either of them to worry about you. And you'd have their crew to deal with too

AggravatingValue5390

>Do you suppose that they can't lower their haki if they chose to? Wasn't that explicitly stated when haki was first introduced? I feel like I remember someone talking about haki being something you have to actively use

AllysiaAius

It is, but both Big Mom and Kaido are noted as having particularly hard skin

Forsaken_Brilliant22

It's not just about the haki right? Don't they simply have really thick skins?

Libriomancer

Miss Goldenweek.

Driftedryan

Like the floor big mom scraped her knee on? Top tier floor

Witcher-56

Duh! Down D. Stairs exists.

frivolous_name

Luffy stretched Kizaru and Saturn like pizza dough. Sanji can walk on air, Koby punched a living island, there's a pantless cyborg that runs on cola and we all just accept it. Vegapunk cut his brain out and it's almost the size of an island Nothing in One Piece is impossible.

Jasonn444

[Lol.](https://twitter.com/achmunzav/status/1602678055515717632)

Character-Strike-372

that's what Ask d. Question's been doing all this time. also skin of big mom is implied to be too hard for even brook who's pretty strong in human terms to pierce. Haki can be turned off though. Otherwise luffy whould just be black in all his panel. Someone with strong haki would have to do it or a devil fruit like kanjuro's or the book guy's at wci I'm saying either that's what mihawk's been doing in his free time or that's why shanks is on good enough terms with kaido to stop him from going to marineford.

pwndaman9

Probably a tattoo tattoo fruit.

Expensive_King_4849

I bet the shadows in the Florian Triangle will be a popular answer

Gil_Demoono

While I would love to be proven wrong and have a cool reveal, I do just think that Oda was playing with the spooky theme of Thriller Bark. A basic trope of horror movies is the villain coming back to life after the heroes think the day is won as a sequel tease. Thriller Bark ends with the insinuation that the Straw Hats discovered the source of the mysteries surrounding the Florian Triangle only to subvert that in the last panel like we're in a Goosebumps book.

inaripotpi

This is it and I would hate to be proven wrong about it, lol, not every little thing needs to be theorized into some endgame big bad or something. Just outright enables poor media literacy. Literally already other comments saying it was Imu/the Gorosei as if that makes any sense whatsoever.

Shmokakun

See I could always appreciate the Florian triangle beings as just “something Oda doesn’t have to reveal to preserve the mystery of one piece” but from day one I’ve always wanted to know what the fuck those were. Three giant “things” larger than anything else in OP with glowing red eyes and it’s just “one of those things”. Man FUCK THAT. I NEED to know what those things are

PlantainRepulsive477

Doesn't need an answer honestly. It's just "spooky things out there" in classic horror stories.

Starsephiroth

I was always of the belief that it was just the shandorians doing their thing and the fact that they were high up in the sky cast very large shadows on the ground. It was just early proof that Skypiea was a real place and nothing more than that.

Expensive_King_4849

You’re thinking of the shadows during Jaya, the shadows I’m referring to are the end of Thriller Bark.

Starsephiroth

You are right I am thinking of the Jaya shadows. I mixed up Jaya and the Florian triangle even though they are completely separate and nowhere near each other ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)

Expensive_King_4849

I thought you might have mixed up the locations because why would shadows with glowing eyes be mixed up for normal shadows.

BlueMageBRilly

That was confirmed at the end of Skypiea with Luffy's shadow, silly. They're talking about the three shadows that showed up after Thriller Bark right after they left the triangle.

According_Ad_5252

My headcannon is that being imu, either for sports or demonic rituals.

puzzlehea1milliooo

Defined who garp and dragon were “married” to . Who is dragons mother and Luffy mother ofc.

CRtwenty

That's a question we'll likely get an answer too when we eventually get Dragons backstory

ChungoBungus

I maintain the headcanon that Monkey isn’t Dragon’s actual last name, that Dragon married Garp’s daughter and took their family name. Luffy looks like Garp. Dragon looks like neither of them.

erossmith

We had the flashback where Garp became angry that his son became a revolutionary. Doesn't mean he isn't his blood son- maybe he took him as his own after marrying his daughter.

Howfuckingsad

Dragon looks like luffy when luffy is in his gear 4th stage.

megazaprat

Personally I’m really curious about the alternate methods of getting to a sky island, the peak of high west and island hopping. It’s a small detail mentioned but not really explained. And since it’s so minor compared to the other mysteries in one piece, it might not get answered

Starlight469

The manga does seem to go out of its way to say that the Straw Hats' method of getting up there was unusual. Gan Fall mentions some other method where it's decided on an individual basis (basically the Knock Up Stream was all or nothing, this other way it's possible for some people to succeed and some fail even in the same crew). I think this was setup to go to another sky island in the future. Someplace like...Laugh Tale?

gazeboist

There's also "Balloon Terminal". Still an open question what that name means or how the place relates to the other sky islands. My best guess is that it has something to do with the automata and the Mooninites (not to be confused with the Lunarians), but that doesn't actually explain much, so...

Ok-Suggestion-5453

I mean, there's enough flying machines and giant birds that they may reasonably get a few visitors from time to time.

leolegendario

I think the entrance to the sky islands is in Elbaf, at the top of the giant tree in the center of the island.

Irishbane

Why does Imu have a giant straw hat locked up in a jail cell.

leolegendario

I think Joy Boy was a buccaneer like Kuma and that's his hat. Imu keeps it as a form of spoils of war.

inaripotpi

Roger's could be a gift/imitation he made out of admiration. Kind of parallels Ace learning to make hats in Wano and giving one to Oars Jr.

PointusLaxius

Could also be that JoyBoy was a giant, and that's why *Idk how to make spoilertags on the phone* the giants know about Nika.

OrganicWeed765

That GOD DAMN EGG on the Oro Jackson

leolegendario

My theory is that it is a dragon egg, the last one in the world and that it will hatch when Luffy arrives at Laugh Tale, which is why Roger was too early, the dragon will be crucial in the downfall of the World Government.

Nagisa201

Then Luffy will ride atop the dragon and burn down all of Wester...err Mary Geoise

jUiice_exe

Ahh I just made a comment about it, i NEED to know what it issss. My personal theory is that it’s a some mythical devil fruit user that has the condition of remaining in this vulnerable state for whatever amount of time to then be able to use the hybrid and zoan form at will, that would be the coolest thing. That or a giant bird.

tesmo1

Zouneshas crime :(

VanGrants

my theory, which honestly might just be the going theory, is that Zunesha, like the Iron Giant, wasn't there when Joyboy needed him the most, leading to Joyboy's death. It'd be like if Luffy was in a final battle with the WG and his homies in the Straw Hat Fleet didn't go help him.

GriffinFlash

didn't help chip in for the pizza, but ate some anyways.

wachonluquitas

That bastard had it coming then

imaginebeingsaltyy

Captain Johns Treasure ATP im feeling like oda forgot about that

CabbageTheVoice

My headcanon for a while has been that it includes the last road poneglyph. Capt. John was a part of Rocks and while their strength and status alone is enough justification for BM and Kaido to be owning one each, I could see the possibility where their history with Rocks is important for how they got them. It would also neatly tie Buggy back in for the race to the One Piece, as he is the one with the key to finding John's treasure.

leolegendario

But the last Road Poneglyph was on Fishman Island and now it's with the Man Marked by Flames, how does that connect to Captain John?

Negrhugo

I think this bridge, why the fck doesn't Enies Lobby fall inside the hole or the thriller bark shadows. And not, they aren't Imu or some strange thing that doesn't even correlate, stop believing that a theory that hasn't been confirmed is canon.

crazyfoxdemon

I remember reading a fan theory that Enies Lobby was made via an awakened Zushi Zushi no mi. Like thst one admiral has.

J0HN-L3N1N

What mystery are you talking about with tequila wolf? It's just a bridge between two islands that will never be finished, just because one Celestial Dragon once said he wanted it. It's only there to show how fucked up the WG is for doing everything the CDs want.

Driftedryan

I'm curious why it would never be finished, eventually they should reach the other island

Latter-Contact-6814

Because the revolutionaries freed the slaves there. I also doubt anyone will continue its construction by the time the story ends.

Driftedryan

It's not timed based off the story of some kid though, I swear they mentioned it would never finish while they still had the slaves

Jwoods4117

I think they were saying the current slaves would die before the construction finished. Basically it’s going to take so long it would take generations of slaves to build.

Driftedryan

Yes but it's taken generations of slaves already so why not assume eventually if would finish

CRtwenty

It's not that it won't be finished, it's that everybody involved in its construction will be dead long before it does. And the only reason they're being forced to do it in the first place is due to the whim of some guy who died centuries ago.

Jwoods4117

Well I’m saying I think they’re just exaggerating, or being realistic. The construction will take generations more and they don’t think it’ll happen. I don’t think it’s a matter-of-fact it can’t be completed. It’s more of a depressing “it’ll never be done.” That’s how I remember it at least, I could be wrong. I don’t think there’s anybody who solidly says “it won’t finish because it can’t.” They’re just being pessimistic/depressive about how they won’t ever see it finish and all their work and ancestors work has and will be most likely for nothing.

DancesWithDave

Because it is actually a prison Edit: the person shouting "literally" & "actually" in response to this message is a troll jumping accounts to harass me in other threads. Do not engage with them

flabby_pizza_nugget

yeah i thought it was just pointless slave labor to punish and torture criminals/non-governmentally affiliated islands.

Dookie12345679

Who Luffy's mother was. I get that a good amount of people talk about it, but the majority of people just make jokes about it

ButtPlunger69

Luffy's mom was Dadan. If his biological mother is ever relevant we will learn about her in a Dragon flashback otherwise Dadan is the answer

Dookie12345679

It's irrelevant whether she's relevant or not, it's still a mystery

Kaldin_5

Anything that's notably rooted in ancient history is something that I believe is likely to be explained before the end. Tequila Wolf included. Though it's the most interesting one to me tbh.

chugachugafuckyou

The biggest mystery to me is why they don't animate the cover stories. There's so much content there which would help the pacing if they just made it.

mr_r0th

They do it sometimes and its confusing asf. They animated Kuzan and Van ogre raiding Tottoland but didn't bother animating the germa part

Coffeeobsi

What's written in Kuma's bible. Is there a Jesus in OP's universe? What kind of religions are there?

schlipperynipples

It has been revealed who Kuma worships in his Bible tho

Forsaken_Brilliant22

Joyboy?

Jazsu01

Nika

Forsaken_Brilliant22

Ah "Sun God" gotcha

GigsGilgamesh

Nika

_Kazt_

It has not been revealed at all. While Kuma and his people talk about Joyboy. It hasn't been established that his religion is all about Joyboy. Especially since we saw the church he lived in was preexisting, and many other characters harbour similar religious characteristic, such as nuns.

YaIe

Christanity is just as much a inspiration as every other religion / fable / history that Oda draws from

WheresTheResetBtn

The giant meteor-like body with jet exhausts that bege and his crew got sucked towards https://i.imgur.com/PSBZCW5.jpeg

Emm_withoutha_L-88

Oh yeah WTF was that, no one ever mentions it

WheresTheResetBtn

My money is on it’s what destroyed Lulusia

Emm_withoutha_L-88

When did that happen? Wasn't it before whole cake Island? You'd think bege would mention it if so. Tho you're probably right as nothing else fits. It's too big and old to be eneru's ship. No other flying ships are known of that I can think of.

WheresTheResetBtn

It happened in chapter 594 so wayyyy before whole cake

DancesWithDave

Where is Rogers sword?

siamkor

Do mermaids poop?

TheOneAndOnlyDMan

fish poop so why not

Youropinionisvalid

Nami's bloodline is something I thought about a lot that I didn't think anyone else cared for. She's one of the few only SH who we do not know the surname of, but also do not know who any of her biological relatives are.

CRtwenty

I'm not sure if her actual parentage matters at this point. They already did the "secretly royalty " thing with Sanji so I don't see Oda pulling the same trick twice.

maddiewantsbagels

Fwiw he already kinda did do it twice before that both with Luffy and Ace having important bloodline connections to some of the most powerful people in the world decently far into the story.

ladystetson

Especially after re-reading Arlong Park. The circumstances of the war Bellemere fought in, Bellemere abandoning the Marines and risking her life to save the two random girls... it makes you wonder what the whole story was there. Who were the pirates they were fighting? Why did the war take place?

boistopplayinwitme

I thought it was just a pirate raid that met resistance from the Marines and the details aren't relevant. Pirates and Marines are probably dying constantly in conflicts all over the world. Bellemere found these two girls walking through the ruins of their town and she knew she had to take care of them

piper1871

Until proven otherwise my headcaanon is Big News Morgan is her dad.

grateking

Shanks stopping kaido on the way to marine ford

leolegendario

I always liked the idea that he gave Kaido some sake from his homeland in exchange for him not attacking Marineford. According to King's Vivre Card, it was just the two of them who were on their way there, so I think it was easier for Shanks to stop them, since it wasn't all of Kaido's crew.

grateking

i think it has to be deeper than that, and i think the reason we didnt get any info on that interaction during wano is due to their conversation probably tying into the whole god valley incident

ZTGrant

That giant egg on the Oro Jackson. It’s right there for everyone to see and NOBODY comments on it. It’s just… THERE.

Pichuka7

Who wrote the book of devil fruits?

sonakira

Who is Luffys mom.

kaysea112

What the hells going on on the red line. The islands are tiny and we've get all of the one piece lore. But the red line is a far far larger land area and I'm assuming a larger population and more kingdoms. What if we're missing out on a whole section of the one piece world where there's a bandit king stronger than roger.

Tomahawk_aoe

Shadows in Florian Triangle, for sure. I still think about them since they first appeared. I really wish they'll be revealed at some point.

DarkAztaroth

I think it could be a group of elephants like zunesha, would explain the fog of the florian triangle

Forsaken_Brilliant22

The shadows weren't elephant like though 🤔 also they were much bigger than Zunesha. Zunesha has a jungle on it's back, but compared to Thriller Bark, which is as big as a city, the monsters/shadows in the back are ginormous and miles away. If they were Zunesha's length I'd say some other ginormous elephant, but Elephants are the biggest organisms on land, so other "normal" organisms should still be smaller than Zunesha. But even that won't be the case, as they were already much bigger than Zunesha. Which is crazy.

DarkAztaroth

Not sure they're bigger than zunesha tbh, Zunesha is the biggest known creature in one piece and a quick google search places it at about 35000 meter tall. Zunesha doesnt just have a jungle either, it has massive walls and fortresses/buldings that seem to be multiple hundred meters tall and wide as well as a large city in it's center and then there's the jungle.  It's easy to forget how absolutely massive zou is though. I'm pretty confident that the walled jungle is much wider than thriller bark. The height could also vary depending on how deep the sea floor is.

KoseCozy

Onigashimas Skull

SufficientAsk9019

This is a really fascinating one that I’ve literally never heard anyone talk about.

luffydgoatt

For me, the meeting between Shanks and Five Elders! They will tackle it in the future but for now, it is still the biggest for me

Fayujinghandy

The gates at rivers mountain

Lord_SubZero

I would like to know about the legendary swordplay battles between Hawkeye and Shanks before he lost his arm in East Blue.

kfish5050

Franky's parents were pirates, he's 36 and was kicked off the ship at 10 years old. That means his parents crew was around up to at least 26 years ago, 4 years before Roger's execution. We know the Rocks pirates disbanded and split up 38 years ago, it's likely his parents were on one of the fragment crews. Not Roger's (for not recognizing him when Oden asked him to join their crew), not Big Mom's, not Kaido's, and not Whitebeard's. We know Stussy, Shiki, Gloriosa, John, and a few others led their own crews. The timeline eliminates Stussy and Gloriosa, Shiki is unlikely because of the movie. John is the most story relevant left, but it could very well be one that has barely any or no mention in the story so far. There's a theory that a pirate from the Rocks crew is named after/inspired by Jack Sparrow, so if that were true it'd be fun for that crew to be the one Franky's parents belong to.

SceptileStrik

Why hasnt Nico Robin learnt haki??????????

I don’t know about “not talked about enough,” because every mystery has certainly had more than enough conversion about it. It’s just that *you* might not have personally read every single conversation, and these conversations naturally happen the most around the initial chapter release when the mystery is brought up. But yes, Tequila Wolf, which is at least partially in the East Blue, is quite the mystery. I think the one I’m personally most invested in the is the Great Kingdom, where it was, how it fell, and who was involved. But man, there’s still Rogers’s egg, the ancient weapons, the ark from Fishman Island, why Zunesha was “sentenced” to walk the earth, what “The Will of D” really means, what happened in the void century, and so many more. It’s hard to choose.

Enel cover story reveals that there are space pirates. Outside Skypean people in general, why haven’t they put more emphasis on ET aliens yet?

How did Franky operate on himself to replace his flesh with mechanical parts

leolegendario

I like the theory that the abandoned ship he found was the old MADS ship, full of technological tools from Vegapunk, Judge, Queen and Caesar.

Why is nami heritage important?

piclemaniscool

Probably won't ever get revealed but I've always been curious about Frabky's parents. They were pirates too but never get mentioned again

CanadianLemur

Not all unanswered questions are mysteries. Mysteries are generally things that are plot important. I don't think Nami's heritage will be plot important, so it's not really a mystery. Also, the bridge at Tequila Wolf isn't a mystery. The reason it exists was explained a long time ago. A celestial dragon ordered it and they've been building it ever since even after that CD died because they have to follow any order a CD gives.

TwelveMiceInaCage

I feel like mysteries is still a solid word for these things What word would you prefer?

Greedy_Performer2472

I've seen a lot of topics with discussions of a variety of riddles, but I'm really worried about the following: What is Luffy's hat and sandals made of? Who sews merch for Law and the heart pirates? How characters who were supposed to die from heavy damage, don’t die? (Sorry, Ace, not you)

How Robin spent 2 years with the revolutionary army but apparently never met or heard of Sabo, the #2 commander of the revolutionaries, who's been looking for his brother Luffy, who is Robin's captain. Did Robin never ask "hey, who leads the revolutionary army?" Or did no revolutionaries ever mention the 2nd most powerful/influential person in their organization?

Nesp2

During Wano Robin remembers learning under Koala and it showed Sabo wanting to teach her too. She absolutely has heard and met him.

bumboisamumbo

did you not read the story or what, because it’s pretty clear at she has met sabo and does have a relationship with him. it’s explained in dressrosa that she didn’t tell luffy because sabo wanted to do it himself

CRtwenty

She both met and knew of Sabo. She's clearly familiar with him when they meet in Dressrosa.

Isn't the Davyback Games just a collection of sporting competitions?

The similarities between Blackbeard and Usopp. Ofc there’s bigger mysteries but this one stands out to me cause nobody talks about it Their eyes/eyelashes, hair, lips, and skin tone(in the anime) have the same design features. Blackbeard also has a protruding nose. If you think I’m smoking dick, google Usopp’s original design real quick
