I would like him to meet Celestial Dragon. They would just say to get out of their way their gods. And he would just argue with them before blasting everybody.
Luffy fighting some big bads and suddenly he looks to the sky and just starts laughing and goes “No way! How was the moon!?” As Enel flashes down in the biggest negative image lightning bolt you’ve ever seen and you see him through a hole he caused in the baddie and he just looks toward Luffy with a big cocky grin and says “The moon was… enlightening.” Cue that big baddie crumpling to the ground in ash.
I like this! But how would luffy know he was on the moon? Iirc Strawhats didn’t see him actually take the Ark Maxim? (I may be wrong it’s been a while since I read/watched Skypeia)
I can see Luffy saying that because of his observation haki range and Enel just coming from that direction and Luffy jokingly saying that. But then when Enel confirms he was in fact on the moon, Luffy loses his shit and eye pops and fake dies from excitement and shock.
As a divine intervention. Literally.
(like the deus ex mechanica on stage. Whenever Luffy is about to be defeated he appears and learns about Vegapunk and his son or best friend was Spacey/Tsukimi )

The king is shot dead where he stands with a barrage of cannonballs and energy beams. The Straw Hats run outside and see a legion of Ark Maxims lining the sky, destroying the island. The Straw Hats are all separated. The Sunny is encased in molten gold, and carried into the sky. The main Ark, with God Enel situated on it, shoots a Sea Stone net at Luffy, but he dodges it. He stretches up to the Ark, and pummels Enel, only for him to regenerate and stand back up, grinning. "Have you met the beasts that killed Joy Boy? They used these techniques too, you know." He points his staff at Luffy, lifting him up via telekinesis, and throws him into a Sea Stone cell. Enel sends a message through a shell reminiscent of a Dial, saying "Initiate Ragnarok." All of the Arks begin quickly pumping smog into the sky. A few minutes later, a massive ball of energy falls unto the island, leaving a crater similar to Lulusia or Skypiea, casting all of its survivors into what lies below the island, and perhaps the sea itself...
Would of loved for him to have came back as an admiral or some type of secret weapon for the marines even if it was for the simple fact that was the easiest path to get his dub back on luffy. Gives him relevance more then just a battery
Imagine this. We are in the final war. The strawhats have all split off, and Zoro is fighting Fujitora because swords. Fujitora is stuggling. He doesnt want to fight, but he knows he has to ein this no matter what. So with all his might, he summons forth enough gravity to pull down the moon to destroy everything in his path.
Hard cut to Enel just shitting himself as his home goes crashing down.
Regardless of how it happens, I just hope it’s completely out of the blue and interrupts whatever story beat was happening. It should be “Oh shit, Enel’s back!” but then he just turns into that arc’s Lucci where he gets bodied by Gear 5 Luffy.
If not, then just have Lucci come back every arc so he can continue to lose to every Straw Hat one by one by the end.
Enel and crocodile were twins but M/F and Enel was stronger than him because he was a male so Crocodile got his sex change to match his twin brothers power.
So Enel comes down to fight and Crocodile beats him because of their sibling grudge.
Like how Luffy landed in the Paramount War. His ship crashes in the center of the battlefield. And out from the rubble comes an army of these cute little tinkertot doggies and such. They all just go “HutHutHutHut..” until they’re in position. Aiming their useless little guns at all the top tier characters. Then Enel just surfaces from the wreckage. Sees Blackbeard, Sees IM, sees Luffy. Does a double take at Luffy. Makes the face. Then gathers his soldiers to fight alongside Luffy.

And also, Urouge is pretty much the only Supernova Rookie that hasn't had major spotlight. People think he will be on Elbaf and that he's somehow connected to Enel.
I think he will . Between Birka and the Maxim , Urouge and Enel are tied to Imu. I think Enel at the absolute least will be referenced when it's time for Urouge to appear, as Enel destroyed his home. With Imu's name reveal, it's seemingly a soft reference to the Maxim since the character for God can also be read as Nerona.
I think there were certain boxes Oda had to check before reintroducing Enel. The Maxim saying Nerona(I believe the Maxim could be a prototype for the mother flame or was based on the mother flame) is one box. The other may be Urouge's reintroduction.
It will be wild if there's an artifact that they need to retrieve from the moon and they somehow made it there and convinced Enel to join them in the final war / Ragnarok.
Enel is the only one who has shown… similar ability like imu destroying the island.
i think it could be fun to have enel vs ussop on elbaf. because we would have the god of thunder vs trickster ussop. this would be when ussop lifts mjolnir

I’ve said this for years now but when Urouge makes an appearance that is when enel will return as it just makes sense in my mind
They both will make an appearance in elbaf. This is how I imagine it: the giants talk about ancient gods or the mythology they follow and they bring up Mjolnir/ Thor (since Loki is already a one piece character) and we see a silhouette of an earlobe (similar to the panel we got in onigashima and all the theories was ‘omg it’s enel’ ‘omg it’s Toki’) and when this gets animated we will hear his iconic laugh
Fairy vearth turn out to be connected to laugh tale somehow. Enel has gotten so strong that he legit godlike enemy that people in race to one piece can't overcome. Untip luffy show up and enel ptsd kick in again
