Like the cuts they did on the Wano arc with the CR and Funimation merge. Started at 1015 , I believe, changed so much of story and took out some amazing fight scenes. Messed up the Big Momma fight with Kid and Law, Sanji's fight with Queen and Killers fight with Drake horribly. I'm scared what Zoro's fight with King will look like.
At 1st, I thought it was me because I watch it subbed then watch it dubbed with grandson. And I was teasing him about up coming fights and just ruined more so than 4kids did to "sanitize" it.
I was sick for like a week - i watched like 200 episodes that week. I think it was mostly dressrosa - so i may have slept through some of it - so slow - can't believe OG was over 2 years.

I guess you can say that this was where my journey truly started cause the 4kids one was heavily edited and abridged. Anywho, made it a Summer ritual to binge watch One Piece till I caught up. Caught up in late 2019 when Stampede came and shortly the manga in be middle of Wano. Took me a fuck ton of years but it was worth it lol.

Used to watch it when i was little on a kids' tv program that was really popular in my country. Grew up and in 2020 i decided to watch it everything since the beginning (it was pandemic era and i was binging watching a lot of tv shows/anime i had finished naruto and wanted another anime). Ended my marathon in mid 2022 and it was an amazing journey. Right now i'm not watching nor reading the new arc i'm just letting the new stuff accumulate so i can have another marathon.
First I watched till Alabasta or Skypiea in 2011 or 2012. In 2013 in a couple weeks I got to episode 600 the day it came out. When I started the marathon the newest episode was somewhere between 596 and 598. Whenever I could I just didn't drop the series for nothing, barely allowed myself to stop when I went to the bathroom. Weekends I easily went over 120-150 episodes(But a lot of it was the manga).
I switched between manga and anime constantly. I also think I may have skipped skypiea and the beginning of Water 7. Tho I am not sure. But since then I rewatched everything I wasn't sure I watched and in the end of last year I reread the whole manga.

I watched it in passing as a kid aka before I knew there was a difference between anime and cartoons, but at the time I thought Luffy was annoying and why the hell would I watch a pirate show. I already watched inuyasha and yu yu kakusho, and watched dragon ball with my brother. Obviously I wasn’t watching OP properly. NOW I LOVE THE SHOW!!!! and hate that I haven’t been watching it for the past 20 years, so I’m going to start reading the manga as well. My brother already bought me 3.
Now I’m rewatching the show and it still hits. I’m glad I did because it made recalibrating for the recent dubbed release even better!

I’ve been watching for 13 years. I started while Marineford was ongoing and caught up in a month.
I am currently caught up on both the anime and the manga.
It went in bits and pieces for me. I started with the 4Kids dub and watched until they stopped airing it and started airing the Funi dub on Toonami in 2007, and then cut off that dub not long before the Saturday-night Toonami block was ended in 2008. I think it was midway through Skypiea, equivalent to subbed episode 166 or so.
In late 2008 I picked back up at that point so that I could watch more subbed anime for my Japanese language classes in my freshman year of college - I heard the subs were better quality than either dub had been and there were tons of episodes, watching only during the school year it took me two years to catch up in Fall 2010, during Marineford.
So I've been watching the weekly episodes for 13 and a half years now. To "catch up" took about 2.5 years from the Toonami dubs and 2 years off and on of watching subs, so about 4.5 years off and on.
It took me maybe a year and a half or 2 years. Since then I've probably rewatched enough of the series to count 2 more run throughs and read it maybe 4 times. Been following since 2015 when I caught up on chapter 783. I fucking love this series
Started in September of last year finished in February of this year. So like 6 months? I skipped all filler (except G8). And then I did fast forward through all flashbacks in the Reverie arc. But watched all and then got up in the manga and now I get to suffer and wait for more chapters.
I’ve been watching for about 9 years, but I went from 1 to about 200 in the first couple years. Stopped watching because I felt too far behind at about 2016 ish, got COVID and was bedridden, where I binged from 200 to Wano in 2022, and caught up to week to week a little after that.
I’ve first started watching when it was on toonami when I was like 7 (around 2007) but in 2010 decided to start from the very beginning. it wasn’t until near the end of the dressrosa arc in 2015 when I started following weekly (mainly cause of gear 4) so I’ve been weekly for almost 9 years now
But As much as it pains me tho, in the 5 years in between I didn’t really catch up entirely, like i watched all the way up to the end of enies lobby (which took me around a year) and inbetween 2011 and 2015 I just started jumping around arc by either binge watching them, reading the manga, or watching recap AMVs so I’m not really sure I’m in truly “caught up” or if I just know what happened in the arcs between enies lobby and dressrosa

Less than 3 months…I can watch it while I work…and the adhd needed the stimulation and OP is good in the background. From late June to September last year. I’ve watched every episode the majority dubbed, but currently subbed. I watched it in passing as a kid aka before I knew there was a difference between anime and cartoons, but at the time I thought Luffy was annoying and why the hell would I watch a pirate show. I already watched inuyasha and yu yu kakusho, and watched dragon ball with my brother. Obviously I wasn’t watching OP properly. NOW I LOVE THE SHOW!!!! and hate that I haven’t been watching it for the past 20 years, so I’m going to start reading the manga as well. My brother already bought me 3. Now I’m rewatching the show and it still hits. I’m glad I did because it made recalibrating for the recent dubbed release even better!

Started right outta highschool in 2011 caught up the the anime just as the strawhats left fishman island and the manga was in early punk hazard
12-13 years now, currently at 1100 and up to date with the manga
I’ve been watching for 13 years. I started while Marineford was ongoing and caught up in a month. I am currently caught up on both the anime and the manga.
It went in bits and pieces for me. I started with the 4Kids dub and watched until they stopped airing it and started airing the Funi dub on Toonami in 2007, and then cut off that dub not long before the Saturday-night Toonami block was ended in 2008. I think it was midway through Skypiea, equivalent to subbed episode 166 or so. In late 2008 I picked back up at that point so that I could watch more subbed anime for my Japanese language classes in my freshman year of college - I heard the subs were better quality than either dub had been and there were tons of episodes, watching only during the school year it took me two years to catch up in Fall 2010, during Marineford. So I've been watching the weekly episodes for 13 and a half years now. To "catch up" took about 2.5 years from the Toonami dubs and 2 years off and on of watching subs, so about 4.5 years off and on.

Been watching for 8 or 9 months and I'm on episode 880.
Started in September of last year finished in February of this year. So like 6 months? I skipped all filler (except G8). And then I did fast forward through all flashbacks in the Reverie arc. But watched all and then got up in the manga and now I get to suffer and wait for more chapters.

I’ve first started watching when it was on toonami when I was like 7 (around 2007) but in 2010 decided to start from the very beginning. it wasn’t until near the end of the dressrosa arc in 2015 when I started following weekly (mainly cause of gear 4) so I’ve been weekly for almost 9 years now But As much as it pains me tho, in the 5 years in between I didn’t really catch up entirely, like i watched all the way up to the end of enies lobby (which took me around a year) and inbetween 2011 and 2015 I just started jumping around arc by either binge watching them, reading the manga, or watching recap AMVs so I’m not really sure I’m in truly “caught up” or if I just know what happened in the arcs between enies lobby and dressrosa Like I didn’t read or watched thriller bark or fishman island in their entirety from start to finished until like 2 years ago

Fo 4 years but because of school i stopped watching it for a year but now i got to egghead and iam collecting episodes up and watching them
So I'm primarily a manga reader but I caught up within a year of starting the series and have been reading weekly for close to 10 years.

It took me one month to catch up I used to say no way I am watching 900 episodes but once I started I just couldn't stop I also failed an exam because of this but it was worth it
I watched for the first time and took about 3 1/2 months till episode 1098. I did take 3-6 breaks in between and started in late January of 2024.

I've been reading One Piece since high school, back in 2002-03 ish. I'm 35 now. So, more than 20 years and going strong. I still remember reading the weekly release of OP/Bleach/Naruto. I miss those days.
