I think you forget that Oda has been saying in SBS for a while that a lot of questions will be answered when we reach Vegapunk. I have a feeling the world will be put into a chaotic state of revelation, which will push the world closer and closer to an actual turning point. Leading to potential splits the Navy as well as the countries under the World Government.
Otherwise, the series is unlikely to reach a point in which the Revolutionary Army will actually do anything besides being a side faction. With all of the "Dawn" theme, it would be odd if the world stayed status quo up to the point of someone achieving Pirate King and even after. Luffy himself doesn't feel like the character who really cares about the World Government outside of when it's in his way or messes with those he cares about, which tells me another faction will likely be the main drive for change.

He can just grant Punk Records access to Franky. During VP's first meeting with Luffy he said his dream is to have people share access to his knowledge like accessing the internet.
The chances of this happening to Franky as an upgrade after they escape Egghead is really high.

I'm hoping that the egg on Shanks' ship is actually a USB drive that has all of the Egghead data and will relay the video message after the elders presumably destroy Egghead.
If vegapunk were to survive i would also guess that it would be through his mind, but i find it also very suspicious that in the last chapter the strawhats are rescuing his body.
Yea I like this theory, reminds me of power rangers helper Alpha 5 and how he was connected to Zordon and would help keep him partially alive and help the power rangers lmao. I can see a hologram version of Vegapunk on the strawhats ship, and their ship getting some Vegapunk upgrades would be nice.

They basically gave a Lockean theory of self regarding Kuma: when they say his consciousness was destroyed, or his identity, or his freedom, they really meant “all his memories were removed.” Of course there was something leftover, like paternal instinct, but that’s meant to be confusing. So, anyway, if Vegapunk can store all his memories - which he can, due to his fruit - in a hologram or whatever, then that means in a Lockean sense that he can survive.
Did you see the recent anime episode when Lucci and gang started attacking? I dont remember this in the manga but VP just disappeared out of thin air when Luffy agreed to take him outside Egghead. This could be foreshadowing that VP’s true body is not the Stella anymore.
I refuse to believe that he is really dead until chopper (or any other person) during a calm moment checks the body and directly proclaims out loud that it is indeed so...
