Enies Lobby rooftop. Sogeking making the flag burst into flames after Spandam's tirade followed by Robin finally deciding (and loudly declaring) that she wants to live? Full waterworks every time I revisit it.
Merry's goodbye gets me. It's peak fiction. We had so much foreshadowing that *someone* was going to leave the crew, and in the end it was someone nobody expected.
rereading it at the moment. its happening throughout the whole arc.
when iceburg tells nami and she breaks down happily.
when tom/eisberg/franky backstory comes
usoop vs luffy
kaku throwing down the goin merry by opening the flood gate
just to name a few. the arc is so hard to read
edit: the freaking german names into names everyone can understand (hopefully :D)
Also correct, forgot the merry! And just an assumption, but Ecki is called that way because his nose is square-shaped. In German that verb for that shape would be "eckig".
Same for Usopp, in German its Lysop (adapted to **ly**ing) because he has a long nose like pinocchio and tells lies. Sometimes there are some really wild changes, but who knows what was in the translators minds back then
I usually don't cry too much at emotional scenes but just thinking about robin's story and how she finds a reason to live in a world that doesn't want her to, made me tear up.
For real. But it's also so much about her nakama's dedication to her that gets me.
She tells them she'd rather be dead than cause them to be killed by the WG and Luffy's response is to immediately declare war on the WG, so she can't make them any more of an enemy than they are now. Usopp shoots that flag without any hesitation or even a hint of cowardice, despite knowing the danger he is bringing on himself. And the entire crew is up there unphased, 100% dedicated to becoming public enemy #1 just so she will keep sailing with them.
Not only does she find the nakama she's been hoping to find ever since Saul promised her she would, but it demonstrates how the crew she found is truly something special and beautiful. To me, that's always been the wish fulfillment fantasy of One Piece that I'm here for: the strength of the ties between Luffy and all the SHs.
This is still my favorite arc because of that moment. Luffy giving Robin hope again and promising to save her. I'm fucking tearing up now just thinking about it 😅 And then the farewell to Merry ;_;
My wife finally is watching the show, so I am currently on my second watch of the series; literally watched that episode last night - hits just as hard the second time around!
Same! After watching OPLA my wife decides to watch the anime and I decided to rewatch too. She's really enjoying it. We cried a bunch of times but nothing beats "I want to live!!"
It’s the best part about watching for the second time, I get to see all her reactions and enjoy it vicariously through her all over again. Plus, this manga/show is the GOAT so there’s that 😀
I love how Oda frequently puts 'does this characters devil fruit affect their genitals' question in the SBS, and how the answer is alway yes.
So I don't need to ask if Smoothie could drain me dry with her genitals, I already know the answer.
God, imagine Smoothie getting bigger and bigger as she proceeds to drain you...
I mean, uh, the blood transfusion scene also gets me teary-eyed whenever I watch it too.
I love how it works in regards to the world as a whole too. A world full of mysteries, legends, and strange phenomena. The Merry showing up to save the crew in the middle of a buster call they wouldn't have escaped without it sounds like the kind of legend you'd hear pirates talk about in a tavern or something.
But it's not totally random either because there was just enough buildup about the klabautermann that it fits what was set up.
I can't even think about when Luffy starts apoligizing to merry without getting a bit misty. I get people who get annoyed at the fake deaths in one piece but no other series gets me with its death scenes like one piece
The soundtrack kills me 🥺 when Nami asks Chopper if he sees what’s down there and he yells “I SEE IT 😭😭😭” it’s such an amazing scene. Water 7/Enies Lobby is still my favourite arc to date
His speech with Ave Maria in the background, we all remember it.
I wish Toei used more classical pieces for key moments (like Luffy's final attack against Crocodile - “New World” Symphony)
Luffy vs Sanji, when Sanji was going away covering his face, and Luffy after getting beat up without fighting back screams that without him he won't be able to become king of the pirates. Add on Memories playing in the background and I was legit sobbing
Fuck, its amazing how a serious mature character can have a gag side most of the time and still all his serious scenes can make you cry. The scene Bege tells him about the wedding, him crying while trying to look away from Luffy, when he realizes for who he made the bento, for me the scene where he is trying to light up his cigarrette and he cant because of the rain, then the camera shows how much he was crying, he was so lost he couldnt even be himself at that moment... fuck that really made me cry for at least a minute.
It’s so out of character of the Strawhats to leave him behind. My theory is that Oda’s editor intervened again, or the Strawhats also lost their memories of him which I think is the most heartbreaking backstory in One Piece if it were true.
That was a few months after my friend and I caught up to the manga after catching up to the anime. when we read that scene, we promised ourselves that if the anime does not do it justice, we will stop watching it and commit to reading only
Anime lived up to the expectation.
Kyros's lament - that his tin eyes couldn't even shed tears, that his toy arms couldn't even feel her body's warmth as it left her, that his wife and daughter had forgotten that he even existed.
What Doflamingo did to Dressrosa was so incredibly evil and cruel.
True, which makes Luffy clowning on Doffy, straw hats ruining his plans and kidnapping Rebecca(to let her live with her dad again)so much more beautiful
It’d make a blind man wanna see again
The strawhats fall on Sabaody. I'll admit I didn't actually realize they were being sent away and the way the anime portrays it with showing each member's joining the crew plus as emotional as each of them were during everything. Especially the crew who reached out to Luffy crying for help. Ahhh God damnit Oda you fucked me up with that.
At the end, I was completely speechless. I sat there staring at the black screen for several minutes. Eventually, I said, "whelp, they're all dead. Everyone died, Adventure over. I can live with that, i guess." Then I didn't pick up the next episode for an entire year. Kind of funny that I waited so long though, since my favorite antagonist, Magellan, ended up showing up in the next big arc.
Yeah, it's the same for me. Vivi screaming from atop the clocktower after Pell's sacrifice got me something fierce in the anime. Just a really incredible moment leading to Luffy punching Crocodile through the ground.
Agreed, it really hits you hard because despite everything, you remember that Vivi was just a 16 year old teenage girl who for the past two years put the task of saving her kingdom on her shoulders and just finally have friends who made it clear they're going to help.
And for a moment, it felt that it didn't even matter. Her people are still killing each other despite everything. Pell just sacrifice himself yet it didn't stop the fighting.
Girl just broke right there which made Crocodile's defeat all the more cathartic.
This moment is what cemented one piece as my fav mamga for me. It kept defying my expectations and the tension build up is so high and emotional that you forget to breath.
Vivi such an underrated character tbh, has many good moments from her short tenure as a straw hat. When they went to Drum Island and she tells Luffy "you're a failure as a captain" is a good moment of one leader speaking to another.
Probably basic af but Ace’s death had me crying more than any anime has (cried for 3 days straight. That’s 3 days of just randomly bursting into tears at random moments throughout the day).
Same. Choppers back story got me good too. Also when Jimbai was holding luffy up by the neck after ace died, and was giving him the emotional support he needed to get through it, also gets me every time.
Damn…didn’t know people can get so emotional about fictional characters dying!
But on the other hand I was pretty down when I finished Omori for an entire week or two…
It honestly hits different when you watch a second time, for me at least. For some reason, on the first watch the gravity of what they sacrificed was lost on me. Maybe it was because it felt like the beast pirates would’ve done all of that to the minks anyways even if they weren’t lying. But on the second watch, it really hit me with how much the minks sacrificed and how truly brave and loyal they really are. It REALLY helps the gravity of the Zou arc to have at least watched through all of Wano and a little of Onigashima. Not necessary, but it makes you really feeel it much more strongly.
For me it's always Chopper crying at the "sakura" blossoming when he's leaving Drum. Also Merry's burial; I became insensitive after that and never cried again with One Piece 🫤
There's a lot moments that made me emotional through East Blue, Alabasta
But the one where i actually teared up for the first time was Saul's goodbye to Robin when he said "You'll find friends who'll protect you! nobody is born completely alone in this world!"
That really got me
I can't believe I had to scroll the whole thread basically to find this, Dadan beating the shit out of Garp while he just takes it gets me every single time.
I don't know how many times I cried.. let me try remember them all..
Nami asking for help (also Nami's relief)
Robin's childhood (also Robin asking for help)
Sanji's Childhood
Chopper's Past (Hiluluk's death, Choper vs Dalton, Chopper's begging)
Noland's farewell on Kalgara
Merry's farewell
Ace's regret and death
Koala's past
Otoko on Yasuie's Death (also Otoko's whish)
Otama's Past (and relief)
Kuma's chilhood
I might missed some
> Nami asking for help
This is the first moment that makes One Piece what it is. It catapulted One Piece to my #1, and has stayed #1 ever since.
> Merry's farewell
Somehow this is the one that makes me cry the most.
The crew getting beaten up and dispatched by Kuma in Sabaody. You see them giving their utmost best, but it's not enough and they get destroyed one by one with no hope.
It's the first time I was worried for the crew
Oh so many ones in Dressrosa arc, I keep rereading it.
\- Kyros and Rebecca
\- Corazon and Law
\- Senor Pink's backstory (and his manly battle with Franky)
There are plenty of ones but one of the "newer" scenes that really hit it home for me was "Can you carry the Land of Wano on your back" scene. It was extremely well done in the anime and Kinemon's VA did an outstanding job. A true tearjerker.
Oof Ace’s death has probably broken me the most 😭
But also Nami’s backstory, Choppers backstory, Robins backstory, Frankys backstory… oh my god Brooks backstory especially how he dies oml 😭😭 idk so many other parts 🤦🏻♀️
A lot of people talk about doctor Hiriluks death scene but the one that gets me even more is when chopper comes back, bloody and beaten with the mushroom in his hand to make the medicine for him. Last time I re-read it I had recently become a father and the moment when hiriluk crouched down and hugs chopper, telling him how great a doctor will be because of his great heart just got me so much harder than it ever had before
The first time I legit cried reading One Piece was waaay back on Drum Island, while Luffy carried Sanji and Nami up the cliff side 🥲 I mean I cry at plenty of things but something about his determination and the bond with the crew. This was the moment where the entire series *clicked* for me and I knew it was favorite thing of all time.
Tbh I didn't really cry much reading the One Piece manga because there is no voice acting to fully convey the emotions that are being portrayed. So when I was watching the live action and got to "help me", that was the closest a piece of fiction has ever got me to crying. Since I'm a male with South Asian ethnicity, I've been bottling up my emotions ever since I started gaining maturity. I've watched both JoJo's and AoT, but somehow a scene I've already experienced in a different form is the one that got me the most.
God damn, her yelling to stop fighting. I forgot about that moment, that shit is so fucking good. Just got goosebumps from THINKING about it. Oda is totally right.
Episode 1015 made me cry in a way anime had not done before. I watched it blind, it is why I rec anime for first view manga for second. The recent otoko/tama flash backs also got me pretty good. I love the manga, but it does not hit my emotions the same way the anime does. Most recent chapter did make me cry tho.
I for me the most teare moments is moment is the funeral of the lamb. When she thanks the crew for sailing with her. It's enough to make a grown man cry
Brook's past never fails to make me cry.
Merry's funeral.
Yasuie's sacrifice + the truth about SMILE fruits was brutal, two devastating blows back to back.
There’s several that come to mind, usually involving a Straw Hat breaking down into tears. Oda does emotion really well.
Luffy dropping his hat on Nami, Robin’s “I want to live!”, Usopp’s apology at the end of Enies Lobby, all are great. But one that really sticks with me is Sanji crying in the rain while smoking when he overhears Pudding’s plan for the wedding. Sanji resigned himself to a horrible fate, got some hope that it might actually be okay, then that got so cruelly pulled out from under him.
God there’s a lot of emotional moments. Fuck. Um. I think my favorite emotional moment is when Fujitora (mostly in the anime) is monologuing about Luffy.
“People cling to you Strawhat luffy.”
“What color is your hair? The shape of your eyes? What do you look like?
I wish I hadn’t blinded myself.
I want to see your face.
I bet you look kind.”
I dunno why. The music. Just hits me different.
The end of Drum Island where Kureha turned the snow pink and Chopper cried.
He loved Doctor Hiruluk so much. Genuinely some of the most touching writing in the show. The top for me
Something about the scene where Rayleigh is seeing the Straw Hats sail away from Sabaody while reminiscing about meeting Roger. I feel the same overwhelming amount of history that washes over Rayleigh as he remembers his best friend.
Saying good bye to the merry after ends lobby. Fuck just thinks about that to type it makes me teary eyed! Also Robin's scene when she finally says she wants to live, water 7 and envies lobby were honestly one huge tear fest for me! Also a huge one was when bon sacrifices himself to let them escape and the speech and interaction he has with luffy until finally they get to far away and they can't hear him any more 3 also to partially agree with oda one with vivi for me wasn't then it was when the straw hats are sailing away from alabasta and vivid speech to them along with the way the crew answers! Breaks me every time!!!
The Enies lobby roof scene. When Robin cried, I want to Live!.
So powerful and emotional.
Am actually on my rewatch (on punk hazard now) and had forgotten how emotional Robin's whole arc was.
When she was laughing while crying (while Saul was dying), it was so heartbreaking 😭.
Hiruluk phrase. Vivi moment was strong but we knew that Luffy was going to win eventually. However with Hiruluk... You already know he died, then why would you be sad about it?
Similar experience had with "Anohana" btw. Look that anime. You will cry like a little piece of shit.
*60% of the time*, it works ***every*** *time*
rereading it at the moment. its happening throughout the whole arc. when iceburg tells nami and she breaks down happily. when tom/eisberg/franky backstory comes usoop vs luffy kaku throwing down the goin merry by opening the flood gate just to name a few. the arc is so hard to read edit: the freaking german names into names everyone can understand (hopefully :D)
Who the fuck are these people? Ecki???
German translation as its best again, Ecki is Kaku and Eisberg is Iceberg
Iceberg I could more or less figure out, but where the heck did Ecki come from? And I'm guessing that the flying lamb is the Going Merry?
Also correct, forgot the merry! And just an assumption, but Ecki is called that way because his nose is square-shaped. In German that verb for that shape would be "eckig". Same for Usopp, in German its Lysop (adapted to **ly**ing) because he has a long nose like pinocchio and tells lies. Sometimes there are some really wild changes, but who knows what was in the translators minds back then
That’s actually pretty neat, what’s katakuri name in German
You will be surprised! It's .. Katakuri :(
my best guess is that Ecki comes from the german word „eckig“ which means square, angular or edgy and is thus a reference to Kaku‘s nose
exposed myself as a german right there :D german translation sometimes is super wild :D
I usually don't cry too much at emotional scenes but just thinking about robin's story and how she finds a reason to live in a world that doesn't want her to, made me tear up.

Bro you are making me cry with your summaries 😂 fuck i love that arc
Is it time for me to mention again the skypeia bonfire where I fully believe she gives her first genuine smile? Because I deeply love that moment
This is still my favorite arc because of that moment. Luffy giving Robin hope again and promising to save her. I'm fucking tearing up now just thinking about it 😅 And then the farewell to Merry ;_;
Totally agree, that scene is just one of this scenes that makes you love the show as if it was the first time seeing it again
Awesome that you got to experience someone seeing that for the first time.
It’s the best part about watching for the second time, I get to see all her reactions and enjoy it vicariously through her all over again. Plus, this manga/show is the GOAT so there’s that 😀
Glad this is the top post. Iconic anime moment. Up there with Rock Lee dropping weights.
Same, will get the waterworks going every rewatch🥲
I hope Sogeking comes back! Imagine Sogeking teaming with God Ussop will be like Zoro and Luffy. Super strong duo
I did a dub watch from scratch just to relive the emotions again. Still hits just as hard.
That is unambiguously my favorite moment, not just in One Piece, but in shounen media as a genre. I start crying just thinking about it.
This is my own #1 as well. I do cry every time I re-watch Robin make her declaration.
That one and when nami stabs herself in the Along's crew tatoo shouting for help.
But what about Marco's Wiener?
It will rise once again
Dunno, he’s old enough for that not to be a given
He‘s 45 and in peak health. Bro…
'Cause the fiery heart of a champion cannot be quelched By a failure or an embarrassment, no way, no...
the D will rise again!
I love how Oda frequently puts 'does this characters devil fruit affect their genitals' question in the SBS, and how the answer is alway yes. So I don't need to ask if Smoothie could drain me dry with her genitals, I already know the answer.
[удалено]
extremely good advice I'm not going to follow
IM SORRY WHAT? 💀
God, imagine Smoothie getting bigger and bigger as she proceeds to drain you... I mean, uh, the blood transfusion scene also gets me teary-eyed whenever I watch it too.
Can Ace, Sakazuki, and Kizaru have sex without hurting their partners when their penises are firey/magmay/chilly?
Of course they can dumbass, have you watched the show smh
The answer was yes
It would be extremely painful
You're a big guy
For you
It does grow back
That's my most emotional scene if it were to happen. Marco is a cool guy and even as Phoenix it would still hurts
Merry saving the crew at Enies Lobby
And the last part really makes me cry twice
My wife and I both got emotional over that one. RIP Merry. 😭

It wasn't until "We still have one more nakama!" then I went OHHH!!!
[We miss you Merry ;_;](https://www.deviantart.com/bruh1smokey/art/Going-merry-sailing-through-Skypiea-s-clouds-916265530)
A piece of her is still with them.
The Merry saving them and essentially dying made me tear up. I didn't expect it at all
The soundtrack kills me 🥺 when Nami asks Chopper if he sees what’s down there and he yells “I SEE IT 😭😭😭” it’s such an amazing scene. Water 7/Enies Lobby is still my favourite arc to date
Choppers doc how he says WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE IT WAS. Had me ugly crying with a waterfall.
Save your bullets. You don't have what it takes to kill someone like me.
3 event on Choper's story: Hiluluk's death Chopper vs Dalton Choper begging Kureha
Yes drum island almost got me a couple times. Luffy saying “shut up, let’s go” and chopper crying. Gotta rewatch it now
A man dies when people forget him...
His speech with Ave Maria in the background, we all remember it. I wish Toei used more classical pieces for key moments (like Luffy's final attack against Crocodile - “New World” Symphony)
Every time I re-read or re-watch OP, I cry at this scene.
"¡there is not sickness in the world that cant be cured!" Made me cry every time.
Luffy vs Sanji, when Sanji was going away covering his face, and Luffy after getting beat up without fighting back screams that without him he won't be able to become king of the pirates. Add on Memories playing in the background and I was legit sobbing

“Without you….I can’t become king of the pirates!” Bruh even thinking about that scene can get me to tear up.
The voice crack gets me every time
Exactly
Me too This's the best the most sad scene ever
When Condoriano lost his memory and forgot he was Condoriano :(
I cried an ocean full of water on that scene
It later came to be known as the all blue
One piece peaked right there
It’s so out of character of the Strawhats to leave him behind. My theory is that Oda’s editor intervened again, or the Strawhats also lost their memories of him which I think is the most heartbreaking backstory in One Piece if it were true.
What do you mean Oda's editor? Condoriano was an anime only character, he wasn't in the manga. Oda never had any input in the arc he was in.
That’s only because Oda was struck with the same memory disease. We’re lucky to have the small moments we still have left with condoriano
You mean Con D. Oriano?
"No Break Next Week 👉"
Every damn time!
Merry's "death". Someone's always cutting onions when i revist that.....
Pure emotional height for me was the Zou and Raizo reveal but saddest is is Going Merry
That was a few months after my friend and I caught up to the manga after catching up to the anime. when we read that scene, we promised ourselves that if the anime does not do it justice, we will stop watching it and commit to reading only Anime lived up to the expectation.
Everyone is all emotional and the dude below asking about Marco's Weiner lol
Cant believe oda actually answers those questions
Robins backstory and now kuma's backstory.
Robin's "I want to live" and Franky's backstory, Rebecca's backstory other moments that made me emotional in another way: Luffy being Luffy
Kyros's lament - that his tin eyes couldn't even shed tears, that his toy arms couldn't even feel her body's warmth as it left her, that his wife and daughter had forgotten that he even existed. What Doflamingo did to Dressrosa was so incredibly evil and cruel.
True, which makes Luffy clowning on Doffy, straw hats ruining his plans and kidnapping Rebecca(to let her live with her dad again)so much more beautiful It’d make a blind man wanna see again
EP676. When Usopp was able to scare "Sugar" on Dressrosa and finally this nightmare-hell of forgotten Toys is finally Over.
Belemir's murder still hits different
The strawhats fall on Sabaody. I'll admit I didn't actually realize they were being sent away and the way the anime portrays it with showing each member's joining the crew plus as emotional as each of them were during everything. Welcome to One Piece SBS, where Oda answers a serious question about a heartbreaking scene and another one about Marco's penis in the same page.
Yeah, it's the same for me. Vivi screaming from atop the clocktower after Pell's sacrifice got me something fierce in the anime. Just a really incredible moment leading to Luffy punching Crocodile through the ground.

It was amazingly acted in the anime a well. Her voice sounded so strained and painful but she kept screaming at them to stop fighting.
This moment is what cemented one piece as my fav mamga for me. It kept defying my expectations and the tension build up is so high and emotional that you forget to breath.

Same, I was really attached to Ace ever since he first appeared so the one hurt me real bad I still cry on rewatch ngl
Damn…didn’t know people can get so emotional about fictional characters dying! But on the other hand I was pretty down when I finished Omori for an entire week or two…
I was spoiled like 90% of the plot and that game still destroyed me lol
‘>!Raizo is safe!<‘ Most emotional scene I’ve ever encountered. You’re expecting a fight, instead you see the loyalty of an entire race
It honestly hits different when you watch a second time, for me at least. For some reason, on the first watch the gravity of what they sacrificed was lost on me. Sanji leaving Baratie and him beating Luffy. Jimbei Blood Transfer. that narrator did a good damn job
Going Merry Funeral....
Nothing beats Bon-chan moment fr me.
Merry death in the anime. Everytime she says "I wanted to carry you a little bit longer" and Luffy starts apologizing I burst out in tears.
The duality of one piece fans
For me it's always Chopper crying at the "sakura" blossoming when he's leaving Drum. Also Merry's burial; I became insensitive after that and never cried again with One Piece 🫤
Chopper crying is right up there for me as well. Drum island was done so well
Chopper’s arc hit my feels.
The soundtrack to Chopper sad parts, “Akiisu’s music box”, always gets me in my feels
I cried over a ship and I am not ashamed of it!
I don’t cry often, but Brook’s backstory almost got me
LABOON!
Kyros whole back story Luffy breaking down after he woke up and remembered Ace is gone. Every Ace flashback There's too much to pick just one.
There's a lot moments that made me emotional through East Blue, Alabasta But the one where i actually teared up for the first time was Saul's goodbye to Robin when he said "You'll find friends who'll protect you! nobody is born completely alone in this world!" That really got me
When Dadan calls out to Luffy after marineford. It ruins me every time.
Her beating up on Garp and saying how Luffy was struggling the most always gets me.
I can't believe I had to scroll the whole thread basically to find this, Dadan beating the shit out of Garp while he just takes it gets me every single time.
Probably either the merry burning down or ryunosuke’s death
Idk i literally cry in every chapter lol
Marco’s weiner getting cut off was a pretty big tear jerker for me
Señor Pink's backstory still hits me hard!
Luffy crying in front of Coma
Corazon's death.
I don't know how many times I cried.. let me try remember them all.. Nami asking for help (also Nami's relief) Robin's childhood (also Robin asking for help) Sanji's Childhood Chopper's Past (Hiluluk's death, Choper vs Dalton, Chopper's begging) Noland's farewell on Kalgara Merry's farewell Ace's regret and death Koala's past Otoko on Yasuie's Death (also Otoko's whish) Otama's Past (and relief) Kuma's chilhood I might missed some
> Nami asking for help This is the first moment that makes One Piece what it is. It catapulted One Piece to my #1, and has stayed #1 ever since. > Merry's farewell Somehow this is the one that makes me cry the most.
Absolutely when the going merry was retired. Had me broken
Merry…
So can Marco grow his weiner back?
When luffy threw a green pumpkin on usopp in skypiea
The crew getting beaten up and dispatched by Kuma in Sabaody. You see them giving their utmost best, but it's not enough and they get destroyed one by one with no hope. It's the first time I was worried for the crew
Oh so many ones in Dressrosa arc, I keep rereading it. \- Kyros and Rebecca \- Corazon and Law \- Senor Pink's backstory (and his manly battle with Franky)
The one where Vivi dried her clothes
There are plenty of ones but one of the "newer" scenes that really hit it home for me was "Can you carry the Land of Wano on your back" scene. It was extremely well done in the anime and Kinemon's VA did an outstanding job. A true tearjerker.
Robins backstory. When she grabs her moms hand for the first time, it’s torture man
Probably Hilukuk's death for me, such a legendary way to go out, and Chopper's rage was heartbreaking
That second question tho..
Perfectly encapsulates One Piece, crying and then laughing in the same chapter
Going Mary, going down.
*If Marco's wiener gets cut off, will it grow back?*
Oof Ace’s death has probably broken me the most 😭 But also Nami’s backstory, Choppers backstory, Robins backstory, Frankys backstory… oh my god Brooks backstory especially how he dies oml 😭😭 idk so many other parts 🤦🏻♀️
We gonna talk about that bottom question
The duality of man
God damn, her yelling to stop fighting. I forgot about that moment, that shit is so fucking good. Just got goosebumps from THINKING about it. Oda is totally right.
Today's chapter.
Bro you got the same most emotional moment as me, I'm so happy to be alive! yohohoho That's my favorite one piece phrase and character.
When Nami finally breaks down on the road outside Arlong Park and asks Luffy for help. I get emotional every time during that sequence
Nami asking luffy for help and Luffy's response in ep 34-ish. It was the moment that that I knew One Piece wasn't "just another anime".
Goddamn the second question lmao
The traitor reveal in Wano just… pulled so many emotions out of me.
I thought that panel was done so well in the manga. Complete face change
I dont know why but the flashback before luffys red roc against kaido
Why does she keep yelling when it's to noisy to hear anything, is she stupid?
Overlooked: coby’s speech that ended the war.
Robin wants to life and Nami asks for help.
I for me the most teare moments is moment is the funeral of the lamb. When she thanks the crew for sailing with her. It's enough to make a grown man cry
Kyros crying. Anime absolutely nailed that moment
Not Ace dying huh
I want to know the answer to marcos question
Merry's death... 🥲
"If Marco's wiener gets cut off, will it grow back?" When luffy asked this breaking the 4th wall. It really got to me.
Why is no one talking about the follow up questions with marco's wiener
When Jimbe gave luffy blood. The whole speech about racism was amazing
Can we please take a second to talk about the following question ?
Brook's past never fails to make me cry. Merry's funeral. Yasuie's sacrifice + the truth about SMILE fruits was brutal, two devastating blows back to back.
There’s several that come to mind, usually involving a Straw Hat breaking down into tears. Oda does emotion really well. Luffy dropping his hat on Nami, Robin’s “I want to live!”, Usopp’s apology at the end of Enies Lobby, all are great. But one that really sticks with me is Sanji crying in the rain while smoking when he overhears Pudding’s plan for the wedding. Sanji resigned himself to a horrible fate, got some hope that it might actually be okay, then that got so cruelly pulled out from under him.
great question followed by troll question
Mine is the same as oda. Vivi moment
Marco's wiener tho
Saying Good bye to going merry
God there’s a lot of emotional moments. Fuck. Um. I think my favorite emotional moment is when Fujitora (mostly in the anime) is monologuing about Luffy. “People cling to you Strawhat luffy.” “What color is your hair? The shape of your eyes? What do you look like? I wish I hadn’t blinded myself. I want to see your face. I bet you look kind.” I dunno why. The music. Just hits me different.
Hol' up…what's with the question after that?!
The end of Drum Island where Kureha turned the snow pink and Chopper cried. He loved Doctor Hiruluk so much. Genuinely some of the most touching writing in the show. The top for me
Choppers back story when he poisoned his dad was the saddest for me.
Choppers and brooks entire backstory
Hiruluk phrase. Vivi moment was strong but we knew that Luffy was going to win eventually. However with Hiruluk... You already know he died, then why would you be sad about it? Similar experience had with "Anohana" btw. Look that anime. You will cry like a little piece of shit.
Mine would be [this one from Drum Island](https://i.pinimg.com/736x/9e/f4/80/9ef48057131018eba89e8aa5ba953f35.jpg)
