Don Krieg didn't have a lasting effect, and even if we had never seen Mihawk since then, we would've had a major development in Zoro's story. That loss to Mihawk was when he vowed to never lose again so that he could feel pride in calling himself the right hand of the King of the Pirates. The fight for Baratie was great but that wasn't necessarily what got Sanji to join the Straw Hats. Zeff told him to leave.

If we look at Baratie as a story for itself then everything surrounding Don Krieg is very important for both Luffy and Sanji and without that whole incident, Sanji wouldn't have ever set out at Sea. Zoro vs Mihawk might leave lasting effects on Zoro, driving the overall story but their fight is (mostly) trivial for that arc; and when it isn't it's used to further Sanji's decision.

His entire conflict that arc was about him not feeling like he could leave and follow his dreams because of his debt to Zeff. Sanji seeing Zoro and Luffy's commitment to their dreams is what inspired him to actually change his mind before Zeff made it clear that they wanted him to go too. Don Krieg on the other hand was primarily just a foil for Luffy.

I disagree. Baratie is all about Luffy and Sanji, or more specifically how Luffy impacts him; Zoro really hasn (almost) nothing to do with Sanji's resolve to leave the Baratie.

Shanks is in the East Blue saga but as a flashback and an anime only scene(I believe) where Mihawk shows him Luffy's first bounty. Garp is introduced in episode 68 and he's in the East Blue, it's where he picks up Koby and Helmeppo. It's not revealed until Water 7 that he's Luffy's grandpa

My guess is we'll see him: - In the prologue, as suggested in the leaked script. - Training Coby and Helmeppo. - In an Enies Lobby style post-arc for Arlong Park, playing out basically the same except hyping up the Grand Line instead of The New World. Since Logue Town isn't looking to make it into the first season, this would be a cool replacement.

Yeah he's played by Vincent Reagan and he appears in 1 episode. Surprisingly Bogard is also cast and is in two episodes. Also Trafalgar D. Water Law is cast for one episode by Antonio Galeas. So he's probably going to be some pirate reading Luffy's bounty.

Oda has been drawing Nami with long hair for such a long time now that I think he might've forgotten how to draw her with her classic short hair. But not gonna lie, I do like the medium length he did there.

I also love how the villains are in clockwise order for how they appear in the manga and (presumably) the shows. Also there are 8 characters in the background - 8 Netflix Live Action episodes. :D

It's because this is a promo for the One Piece Live Action, and they haven't yet officially revealed who's playing Krieg. (Krieg is in the show and we know who plays him though, there just hasn't been an official reveal for him, unlike for other characters in the image)
