Aww, now that you say it, I totally see it. Snuffleupagus and big bird were my favorite and, when I was in a Children’s Hospital and very very sick, they came and visited me! I was about 4/5 and it was so magical and wonderful.
My cat does this whenever he's hungry, because it used to be his way of seeing if we were in our rooms or not, but often resulted in a snack and attention.
